An awful company. Nearly impossible to cancel your contract. A total scam with awful customer service.

Be careful with this business. They will lure you in and charge you with your credit card stored without notice. And when asked for refund will show you all possible clauses.

I have loved this company for 20 years. I was a coach, I drank the shakeology koolaid, I signed other people up, I did all the things. But this year has been rough and I have suffered with medical issues and my mother had a stroke so financially I could not see keeping this membership. I canceled it but beachbody refuses to give me my $179 back. I’m so upset and I need that money right now but Beachbody doesn’t care. I applied to dispute this and they said I should receive a response in five days. I received an email saying my dispute was declined just a few hours later. They don’t care about you as a person in the slightest.

DO NOT USE-
First off, their website is constantly down. And it just so happens that the tab to change your subscription is the one that is “offline” and asks you to try again later. I was unable to cancel my membership and kept trying. I ended up missing the deadline by a day- I was charged $200.00 for a DAYS ACCESS. I tried explaining and asked for a refund- I was told they was nothing they could do. Not only was I charged for A DAY, but I am also locked out of my account. As a former D1 athlete, I would never recommend this workout program, and now with the terrible customer service I will make sure many others know. This App is an absolute scam. They make money hoping people will forget about their subscriptions.

Stole money from me also £179 - provided my bank with “evidence” of me using the app when the only time I’ve used it is to try and contact them.
Never replied to my attempts to contact them - uk phone number doesn’t exist.

Beach Body used to be very customer service oriented, recently they changed. They are greedy now and don't even try to help out their existing customers. I have been a faithful customer for the past 5 years but this will be my last year. They have so many complaints with the BBB.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Did not know my subscription was set for automatic renewal. I went in the day it renewed after I saw it come out of my bank account and cancelled. I had two options cancel renewal and keep access until next renewal date or restrict access immediately for a refund. I chose that because I have an injury preventing me from working out. They will not give me my money back because it’s not their “policy” but I also don’t have access. So basically they kept $200 just because. Truly a piece of crap company with crap values! WILL NEVER USE ANYTHING OF THEIRS AGAIN!

Same issue as multiple folks here. My membership autorenewed without notice which tells me their business practice is built upon hoping people forget and just say “oh it’s in our terms and agreements.” I hadn't used the service in years which is incredibly easy to see on their backend yet they refused to issue a refund stating that policy only applies to the original/ initial order. How unbelievably deceptive and unhelpful. Avoid at all costs.

I have been doing beachbody workouts for years. Have had paid the yearly membership a few times. Love the variety of workouts, meal plans and so much more info that I am able to obtain. I will be reactivating my membership this week. Results with the workouts can be pretty amazing as long as you also follow a diet of some sort. Thanks Beachbody!!

My membership autorenewed without notice. They said they sent an email, but I don't have it. I hadn't used the service (which they could easily verify). They refused to issue a refund within 30 days staying that policy only applies to the original/ initial order. They didn't do their part by communicating...they just withdrew the money. Bad service. I will never join again nor do I recommend them. They lost my future business and my respect.

Once they’ve got you, they make it incredibly difficult for you to leave as they auto renew your membership even though I had made sure that I had cancelled everything. Very sneaky. When you try to contact them the customer services email comes back ‘undelivered’ & UK phone number is ‘not recognised’ although both of these are provided on their website. Even by looking at their responses to comments on here you can tell they are a sham of a company.
I got stung for £179 for another 12mths membership. Anyone know who governs them in the UK? Think they may wish to hear about this.

Sign up was easy, but ending a subscription is a disaster!
They say you can cancel at any time, but it was impossible for me to cancel through the website (kept telling me to wait 3 hours and try again).
Tried to find a phone number to call--also impossible. In my frustration I would stop trying...until I was alerted that they auto-renewed my membership for $120.91. They won't admit fault--saying as they do for so many that any money-back guarantee time is up. I'd be fine if they were understanding and took the time to hear me out and make it right. But no.
They get you, then they ghost you.
I've been a Beachbody customer for years.
Not any more.

My membership autorenewed without notice. They said they sent an email, but I don't have it. I never purposefully set my memberships to autorenew. I had no intention of extending my subscription for the spring and summer months. I hadn't used the service (which they could easily verify). They refused to issue a refund within 30 days staying that policy only applies to the original/ initial order. They didn't do their part by communicating...they just withdrew the money. Bad service. I will never join again nor do I recommend them. They lost my future business and my respect.

Do not trust Beachbody! I bought a 6 month membership and when that 6 month ended i did not receive an email that i was going to be billed for another 6 months and instead was charged for the next 6 months at a higher rate than when i initially joined! I am furious to say the least and will never recommend beachbody to anybody. When I tried to dispute with my Credit Card company Beachbody wouldn't honor the refund as it had already charged. Very unprofessional and sneaky to not give a heads up for another charge and then not honor a cancelation.

Absolute scam company. Fraudulently charged us for 2 years and refuse to give refunds. Most dishonest company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. 0 stars.

I initiated a trial membership of Beachbody in March of 2020, just prior to the COVID crisis.
During the turmoil of this time, I neglected to cancel the trail membership and have since been billed $179/year for the last four years without the courtesy of an email notice prior to annual renewal.
I requested a refund of the annual charge which just posted to my account last week and was flatly refused, despite not accessing the platform for the last four years. Additionally when I requested to speak to manager, I was told that wasn't possible.
Beachbody is very efficient at taking your money but not at all efficient in providing a good customer experience.

They stole £179 from me and have refused to give it back!! Subscription auto renewed for almost double the original subscription with no warning emails, and after immediately cancelling they refused to repay me even though I told them I had no money to feed my family. Avoid at all costs!!

I signed up for a one month $35 membership and they stole $188 from me and won't give it back. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and I wish that I had been warned it was a complete scam before signing up.
They will financially destroy you. Stear clear.
EDIT: i have an email receipt from Bodi that says one month membership and when i called their customer service they told me no such thing existed so they owe me no refund.
They are a complete and total scam and i have no idea how they are still in buisness.
I have contacted them through numerous methods- the response to this comment is just another nonsense message from con artists. Not real company.

Consumer beware… this company is not person-centered and uses every intimidating legal/policy move they have to avoid having any flexibility in adjusting membership or refunding an auto-renew subscription. I feel so taken advantage of and even with my medical condition now preventing me from accessing the program, they (without collecting any additional information or medical docs from me) deemed my case to not be significant enough for an “exception”.
Read the Better Business Bureau claims, please, before you buy into this program. It has certainly been a hard lesson learned for me.

I was conned into getting whatever BS promotion they were selling…65% off or something. I was never told they were actually signing me up for a monthly subscription of their NASTY shakes. I just wanted to purchase the bike and the yearly program for the bikes. THAT’S IT! I saw a charge for $150 on my credit card and immediately called them to cancel it. They said the stuff had already shipped so I had to wait for it to arrive. I was given a day of Monday. It’s now Wednesday with no package. I tried to call customer service and they refused to let me speak to a supervisor or a manager. I just want my money back. I never agreed to a monthly subscription. Their customer service is TERRIBLE. Do not use them. Just spend the extra money on a Pelaton. I wish I did.
Also: Beachbody “responded” and basically did nothing. So I guess thanks for the response? The customer service here is absolutely terrible. Avoid them.
