Please be aware of the way this company treats their customers

Please be aware of the way this business treats their customers. If you have an issue with your account they will make a decision without working with you. Beachbody will not refund your money even if you contact the same day that the membership renewed or even offer any options to use the funds for a different membership. They would rather lose you as a customer than work with you to resolve the differences. There are many other options out there I encourage everyone to consider before wasting your money with a company who does not care about their customers. This company just wants your money and it's all about money and nothing else.

Update: There is a reason why there are so many negative reviews - this aligns with the way this company treats their customers. They just don’t care about them !!! It’s all about the money !!!

If you’re thinking about a Free trail…

If you’re thinking about a Free trail beware! Bodi Beachbody will not allow you to cancel via app. When you submit the dispute form they will deny you for charging months of membership even though you clearly cancelled and deleted the app. I will continue to fight to get my money back.

This company is a ripoff

This company is a ripoff. They never told me that they were going to auto renew my subscription. They claim they sent me notice 45 days before renewal, but I never received any emails from them.

I started Beachbody in 2021 and…

I started Beachbody in 2019 and attempted to cancel the memberships and subscriptions in 2022. it was a whole thing and prices just to cancel. instead, they not only decided to charge me the following year, but also significantly increased the price and had signed me up for a membership I had never even heard of or was ever notified about. I was charged on a card I wasn't even actively using anymore so that I could pay down a larger charge from a surgery on the card. I didn't notice they had continued to charge me until this year and they had DOUBLED the price having signed me up for more stuff I've never even heard of or had any notice of. shame on you!! white collar crime is rampant and these companies get away with whatever they can because there are ZERO serious consequences to them while they screw everybody else over. they get away with as much as they can for as long as they can until somebody takes notice. and if that never happens, then they just keep taking.

UNPROFESSIONAL & IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT

This company is impossible to get ahold of. I had a membership for $99/year. I tried to cancel it after the first year and couldn't reach them or get a call back. They charged me $179 for the next year. I have submitted requests for callback from them multiple times with ZERO response. I would not give this company your credit card information. Not safe! And the contact link they give you doesn't even work! Try it for yourself!

I have been using beachbody for years

I have been using beachbody for years. It was time to renew my annual membership and I have experienced nothing but issues. They do not make it easy to do an annual membership and try to push upgrades and buying supplements. I am beyond annoyed and disappointed

I paid for an entire year's…

I paid for an entire year's subscription and only cancelled in in March because I did not want the annual fee to be deducted in April 2024 however my annual subscription I paid for is only supposed to end on the 6th of April 2024.
This has cut a month off my year's paid subscription? No support and no phone to call
Is there a phone number for this company? No e-mail address they all bounce back?

Avoid like a plague on plague

I had been a customer of Beachbody for about 4 years having also paid for early access to some of the newer programmes. I have recommended them in the past to friends etc; however I can confidently say now to anyone considering them…… AVOID!! The website, packages and options are to my opinion intentionally misleading or misquoting. I recently purchased what they call a ‘total body package’ this included a few bits and bobs including their protein, pre-workout and some containers etc, but also included within the package was an annual subscription to the service BODI. Firstly they tried to auto-renew my subscription to the monthly protein at over £100 which I thankfully cancelled, but despite my ‘total package’ including the annual membership it was cancelled about 2 weeks ago. Cue poor customer service and diversion, apparently I only had a quarterly subscription, nowhere on the site is there an option to subscribe quarterly in any package. Their packages are nonsense, the early access fee for programmes isn’t worth the £ you pay because you have to keep an active subscription, which they conveniently tell me I don’t have so I wasted the early access fee on a recent programme. The customer service is shocking rather than assisting with my concern or indeed considering loyalty to the service they ‘understand’ and try to sell me a more expensive option as a thank you. Honestly the most ridiculous customer service ever, the most misleading way to sell any product which is more than intentional so that people get caught short as I did. It is a shame because some of the trainers are great, knowledgeable and are worth following on social media they are just hugely let down by this scam inducing pyramid scheme style company. Please avoid

YOUR ACCOUNT IS NOT SAFE-AND THEY DONT CARE

I had someone gain access to my account from another state. Whomever this person is, was able to get into my account and update the ship to address. They placed an order, and I received a notification that my order was placed at 3:06 AM. The person who did this, lives in a completely different state than I do, and I do not know anyone who lives in that state. The person that did this used a credit card that I do not own, so at least they did not steal my money but the fact that they were allowed access to my account does not say much for the privacy and security of your account if you are involved with BeachBody/BODi. I contacted BODi as soon as they opened to report the issue. I was asked to change my password and them was given a link to request that my account be closed. I filled out the form and sent it off. I just got an email response from my request stating that because there is an existing order against my account, they are unable to close it. EXCUSE ME???? Someone who is not me got into my account and created an order (a monthly auto-ship order at that) and you cannot close my account because of it???? ARE YOU KIDDING???? So, what now? Do we just sit and wait until they receive their order that was placed through MY ACCOUNT or is this something that is just going to continue until they decide they don't want their auto-ship order to continue any longer?

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! YOUR ACCOUNT IS NOT SAFE AND WHEN SOMEONE FIGURES OUT HOW TO GAIN ACCESS TO IT, THEY DO NOTHING TO HELP!

DO NOT JOIN THIS MLM

Awful company, do not support this business. They will not send you a renewal email so that they can just charge you. When you contact customer service you will be given a pointless form to fill out, as they will reply very quickly saying they will refuse to refund you. I contacted them the day of renewal and they are still refusing to give me a refund. They also overcharged me for the renewal I did not even want. When my account was active I downgraded from bodi to bod for just access to their workouts and they upgraded it back to bodi at the time the charged me for a renewal I did not want. Had I received the email they claim they sent I would have cancelled online myself. Seeing all the other reviews of people stating the same proves what a shady operation they are running. The generic reply they give to every bad review is a joke!

Buyer Beware

2nd Update: Bodi replied to my trustpilot review below with pretty much the same candid answer as all their replies to all their extensive negative reviews. Maybe if they would make the effort to check in on the upcoming charge emails that they claimed they sent out but no one seems to have received, then they would have better customer service and keep their customers happy.

Update: I received an email from BODi explaining they would not refund my money. They stated they sent a pre-bill notification to my email on 1/28/24. Unfortunately, they did not actually send it, so again, beware of this scam of a company and its lack of customer service and honesty.

I used to use Beachbody on demand for a few years. I used to love it. The workouts were good but now the workouts are average at best. I was charged per the automatic renewal without being notified. I chatted with their customer service and asked for them to cancel my membership and refund my money since I was not notified of the automated renewal and therefore was not expecting $100 to be deducted from my account. They sent me a form to fill out that says they rarely refund any money so there isn't much you can do but eat the fee.
There are so many great workout videos out there for half the price that have great customer service and care for their customer base. Sadly this used to be great years ago but now they are just money-hungry. If they had produced quality material and had caring and supportive customer service, I would never have written such a review.

A year ago I would have given a 5 star…

A year ago I would have given a 5 star review as have been a loyal customer for over 10 years . Not now. I renewed my subscription last September even though it had risen from £119 to £180, but have been so disappointed with the rebrand, particularly as the music is so loud I cannot actually hear the instruction ! An email requesting a partial refund- more than fair considering- was met with : “we cannot process a partial refund for the remainder of the access”. How corporate and indicative of how I am viewed as a loyal customer. I can’t express how disappointed I feel- I used to love Beachbody/bodi.

This company is a plague

This company is a plague. I did not ever sign up, my credit card was hacked and they keep auto-renewing me. I tried to dispute the charges through my credit card company, Bank of America, and they "were unable to approve my claim". Somehow, the merchant provided "documentation" confirming that I received merchandise, WHICH I NEVER HAVE. They just showed a computer generated invoice.I am so furious. I do not know how any self-respecting health care professional or trainer could be part of this company. Also, I am a Doctor, specializing in physical medicine and I would NEVER EVER sign up for this crap.

Terrible customer service

Got no notification about a huge $60 increase to my subscription. When I contacted them about it, they were extremely rude and unhelpful. They would do nothing to make it right. It was obvious they don’t care at all about their customers. I’ve been a subscriber for years but after this I decided to cancel my subscription just to find out that they don’t refund membership renewals!!! My only options are to take a year loss or be stuck with them for another year. I’m so upset with this company and would never recommend them.

I cancelled last year and somehow the…

I cancelled last year and somehow the cancellation did not go through. I was charged AGAIN this year another $200 and customer service quoted rules and regulations in refusing to refund me even for the unused portion of the year. While the company acted within their prescribe rules (forget the fact they somehow did not process my cancellation a year ago), they extended zero courtesy to someone who already paid them hundreds of dollars.

If you’re looking for a company that…

If you’re looking for a company that only cares about money this is it. They will trick you into their subscription and refuse to give you a refund. I’ve been using their products for years but decided to cancel due to their huge price increase. They sent me a promotional email for three months, like another reviewer said, there was no email notifying me that the renewal was going to be charged. They charged my account and refused to refund the money. I called and spoke with a “supervisor” who said that they don’t refund renewal. I will never ever use their platform again and I’m telling everyone that I can reach to NOT to use Beachbody . Go and try Les Mills it’s way better than Beachbody and the workouts and more fun and challenging. Beachbody is a money loving company and it’s clear to see why their sales are declining.

Be careful… always check your accounts for unauthorized charges from Beachbody!! My wife says she hasn’t used them in years and I wake up to an est. $200 charge this morning!

Very poor customer care

I have been a member for years but have been really disappointed of late by the poor customer service and lack of technical support. I’ve gotten intermittent error messages when trying to access workouts. This has been going on for several weeks and I’m having an impossible time getting it resolved. The support on the site is awful and there is no good way to get help when escalating concerns. I’m literally waiting for a member of the tech support team to respond to me now. I was told I would have to wait 15 minutes. That was 45 minutes ago. Very frustrating. For a company focused on improving well being they are missing the mark.
