THINK TWICE!

BODI charges a hefty price and sends no notice that they will be charging you again for a renewal. Their customer service insists there is “nothing we can do” after your card is charged for another year that you don’t want. Money down the drain. Think twice before subscribing!!

I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. Their customer service experience was terrible. If you dont cancel your subscription, you are out the money. I was charged a renewal on 1/24/24. I called customer service the SAME day, they said there is no refund on a renewal. I submitted a complaint. If you submit a complaint, based on their reasoning, you can't refute even if it is inaccurate. They stated that they sent a message regarding a renewal but I did not receive one - no spam/junk etc. So now I am out $189. Keep your money and forget this company.

Do NOT waste your money

Do NOT waste your money. They’re Pathetic! You will pay them once and they will continue to charge you $89 even though you’ve cancelled it. Then when you phone them, you get people that are difficult to understand who can do nothing to refund the charges. I travel and often cannot sign in to the programs. Love me some ShaunT but not THIS much!

When you placed the order, you checked the box to accept the Terms and Conditions. Within those terms you agreed to automatic renewals which required you to cancel the membership to prevent future charges and eliminate access. Like all memberships that auto-renew, you will continue to receive access and be billed regardless of usage until you take the action to cancel.

We were unable to locate any prior cancellation requests for the quarterly BODi membership.

BEWARE... THIS WILL COST YOU

I signed up for 14 day free trial. During the 14 days I tried and could not cancel on the app. On day 15 they charged me. They have told me this was a "renewal" and have refused to refund me. Don't sign up for 14 free days you'll be unable to cancel and they will take your money. I'd used beach body for a number of years previously. I now couldn't recommend the company as the focus is on tricking people out of money for their own gains. I used the online chat function to try to resolve and enquire about a refund and they ended the chat on their end. Really poor customer service.

Renewal gone up by over 50%

Renewal gone up by over 50%. Whilst I expect a rise in the service not over a 50% one. Allot of the content has already been created many years ago they are just allowing access. I can not see the reason for such a rise in costs. So I have cancelled my renewal month before due hopefully no money will be taken I would not recommend this service due to massive price increase with no additional benefits

Refund policy - basically nonexistent

I was charged for a renewal on 12/20/23 without ever receiving a renewal reminder email - they stated one was sent out. It was not - no spam/junk etc. I saw the charge for the renewal and canceled within 7 days of the charge on 12/28/23. I waited for the charge to be updated. After one week, I called (1/4/24) and was told no refund on renewals, only original subscriptions. While talking to customer service about the missing refund - I asked where I could find this information - she guided me through multiple pages, search bar uses, and additional links to find the disclaimer. It is ridiculous that a refund will not be processed for a cancellation within a week of the charge; and that you need to click a crazy amount of pages and searches to find the "small print." If you order from this company - set a calendar reminder for the renewal date. They are not helpful and will not make any exceptions even when they don't follow proper billing protocol.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware! My digital subscription renewed on 11/27 (they claim an email was sent 7 days prior to renewal but I have no such email). I logged in and cancelled said subscription the next day. I received an email that the order was cancelled as well as all access to any digital content was locked so I thought I’d see a refund. Nope! I was able to get in touch with customer service on 12/27 and they said no refunds on renewals but would help me get access to the content which would be available until 11/26/24…so charged for 12 months but only get 11 months. Nothing they can do. I even submitted a dispute form. They sent me a 10% off code but refuse a refund or to adjust dates of my access. Why in the world would I give this company any more money when they are literally stealing from people?!?

2 accounts for same person - BB knew it

I purchased a BB subscription for my daughter for her birthday a year ago. I did not know she already had an account that she accidentally had checked "renew" and I accidentally checked "renew" on the one I purchased for her. I believe the company knew she had two accounts that have been renewing so when I realized it I asked them to refund one year of one of the accounts. I disputed this with my American Express but BB refuses to refund one of the years of one of accounts. I am out $500 & they have shown zero faith. I will never use this service again nor will my daughter. Good quality customer service would dictate they would/could at least understand their/our mistake and refund at least one year of one of the two accounts that could not possibly be used by one person. I am deeply disturbed by this company and how they have NOT rectified this situation. I do not recommend and if you do watch what you subscribe - they are not honest.

Awful business practices. Outdated content.

I was a member of Beachbody for many years, and recently rejoined with the hopes that BODI finally had new content. After finishing Lift More, which is part of the reason that I rejoined, I was disappointed to see that the content overall is extremely outdated (decades old) and pretty poor in comparison to what their competitors offer. I decided to cancel my membership online and after a couple of days realized I never received a refund. The website itself does not provide a phone number, just a chat bot or a request for someone to call you, which didn't happen, after multiple requests. After some googling, I was able to find a phone number, and after jumping through even more hoops, finally talked to a customer service agent.

Apparently, BODI does not offer any refunds after 30 days, which is absolutely ridiculous, seeing as how their programs are longer than this timeframe. That's right. They don't even allow their customers to complete a full program before deciding if it's a good fit. If you cancel AFTER 30 days, they offer NO REFUNDS. If this is a credible practice (which it's not), why wouldn't you state that anywhere on your website. This is a terrible business practice. Why would anyone spend $179 for old content.

Once my membership is over, I will never be renewing with this shady company. I was naïve to think that BODI would offer more than one new program when their membership is now twice as expensive as it used to be as Beachbody. Also, just as an aside, you were able to cancel your Beachbody membership at any time, and they refunded you the difference.

There are a lot of other companies that offer new content daily, at a fraction of the price. Don't waste your money with BODI.

Wild price increase and no extra value

Wild price increase and no extra value. Increased 250% in two years. Increased to $150 last year and now $240 with tax. They say you get nutrition for free, who ever wants that should be able to add it. Everywhere you go on the site they ask more money. Pay for new workout blocks, pay for 21 day fix, pay for 2B mindset. A $90 increase and nothing of value. It is way to overpriced now for a basic at home workout program

"An Unfortunate Farewell to BODi"

I'm writing with a heavy heart after years of being a dedicated customer to express my profound disappointment in the recent treatment I received. As someone who has been a part of the BODi community for several years, it saddens me to find myself in a position where I must voice my disillusionment.

After a recent accident that rendered me incapable of exercising for an unforeseeable period, I reached out to your team, hoping for some understanding regarding my situation. Regrettably, the response I received was one of rigid adherence to policy rather than empathy. Despite explaining my circumstances, the decision to charge a full year's membership fee remained unchanged.

This lack of flexibility and empathy for a loyal customer during a challenging time is disheartening. As a result of this experience, I've come to the decision that I can no longer continue my membership with BODi. It's a deeply regrettable conclusion for me to make after years of being an advocate for your services.

Moving forward, I will not only cease using BODi's services but also refrain from recommending your establishment to anyone within my community and network. I urge you to consider a more compassionate approach in situations like mine, where unforeseen events impact a customer's ability to utilize the services they've committed to.

I genuinely hope that this feedback serves as a catalyst for improvement within BODi. Empathy and understanding can go a long way in fostering long-term relationships with your customers. Rip off - dishonest company - no service

I used to be an advocate for beachbody.com. But have to conclude this company lacks fair operating practice. Now reading reviews on accredited company and trustpilot I do not stand alone in this conclusion. So you board for $99 with a literal promise on paper (well mail) this will be your annual fee. Then the next year all of a sudden they take 197 out of your credit card. They do not answer any single mail. So made arrangements with the credit card company to book back half o the fee. The defend themselves to the credit card company that they have sent an upgrade mail (never received). That does not stick because there Is no consent. So I have half of my money back to find out they blocked all the workouts I used to use forcing me to upgrade if I want to use them. So I’m done with beachbody.com. This is simply dishonest criminal behavior.
So DO NOT START WITH THIS COMPANY. It will lead to disappointment.

BODi management, are you listening??

I don’t know if the company realizes how deeply aggravating it is to be excluded from access to the exercise super block programs, and to be reminded of this every single time I log into the app! It is discouraging, disappointing, and makes me hope for another company to come on my radar so that I can escape the daily frustration of it once and for all.

For those of you who don’t know: the company has several programs (called super blocks) that are *only* available if you either subscribe to one or more of their high priced nutritional products (such as Shakeology), or if you a pay an extra $29.99 for the program! If you bought the super block each month, well, it would be hundreds of dollars per year on top of the already jacked up annual membership price.

The sad thing is that these programs are based off the most popular and beloved programs from earlier years, so of course long time members like me would love to do them. But not everyone who joins BODi is a fan (to say the least!!) of the so called nutritional (supplements etc) things they push, not to mention the MLM type of bs the company still seems to favor.

My advice to them: dump the MLM aspect, become a legit full on streaming service for people who want to get fit, and quit pushing all the pseudo health products, please! Until then, I’d advise against joining BODi. I will quit as soon as my membership is up. Very disappointed that the company went this route with their super blocks.

They have just charges me £179 to renew…

Edit: I eventually found a phone number and was able to get a refund.

They have just charges me £179 to renew membership, almost double what membership was last year. I cannot afford this as I am on low income, so I have cancelled but only received some automatic E-mail from them, no information about when my refund will arrive. Several direct debits have reversed from my bank due to this, and I have incurred charges. Very difficult to contact the BODi. I enjoyed the workouts and they were helping my depression, now it feels like this company are rip off merchants and only care about the money. Buyer beware.

This company is impossible to get hold…

Edit: they have now emailed me but only gave me a US telephone number not not one for the UK! This company is impossible to get hold of from the UK. The website just takes you round in circles. I actually want to renew (the workouts are good) but have an issue and need to speak to someone to resolve. I have emailed (no response) The contact us on the website just takes you to a page with a picture and no telephone number! Useless!

Avoid completley. No way to contact this company from the UK. Cancelled all subscriptions months ago and still getting charged. Impossible to find a way to address the issue as no way to contact them via email or phone.
