AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Ordered 2 mattresses from them via ebay. The mattresses took over 3 weeks to arrive as they kept fobbing me off with excuses and saying they could only deliver once a week. When the driver arrived he shoved them through the front door and left without giving us chance to look them over. Mattresses were awful, cheap quality and dirty despite being 'brand new' and in the wrappers. I spoke with the company who said I would only get a refund if j returned the mattresses via a courier at a cost of myself.
I then spoke with ebay who advised the company would come and collect the mattresses within 5 days, or I would get a refund. Nobody showed up within 5 days so ebay refunded me and said I could offer the mattresses to a charity.
Now getting letters from bedworld threatening legal action if I don't return the mattresses...

Absolutely shocking company, do not buy from them.

failed order

ordered a mattress 2 weeks before Christmas, never got it, then they emailed me and told me before new years day, never got it, so then they said wait for a reply for a date, so by this time i contacted eBay and got my refund, i went to another seller, on the 2nd jan and came today the 5th, so i for one will not shop there again.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER, did not give notice of delivery so missed the 1st attempt, lucky to recieve it 2nd time. Item was then damaged and awful quality. Three weeks later they still have not collected or refunded the money. Avoid at all costs

I purchased a mattress from Bed World…

I purchased a mattress from Bed World in 2021. The mattress comes with a foam topping, the mattress itself is very comfortable. However, the topping has moved itself to one side of the mattress causing an uncomfortable lump. I have contacted Bed World today with photos. Their answer is:Hello, Sorry to see this, unfortunately your warranty has expired.We won't be able to help you on this accession. Thank youRex
Not a particularly helpful answer. I do hope other customers in the future do not have any reason to contact their customer service. Quick to reply but no service. All I required was some advice as to how the problem could be rectified.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Dreadful product and experience. Agreed a full refund as mattress was just so awful and not fit for purpose. Then they changed their mind! Told me I could have an exchange but only if I return it in original packaging! I know I had had it a month but didn’t keep plastic. Then they said I could have an exchange. By the way this all started in May. We are now in November and I have still had no money or mattress. Now the phones are not being answered!

What a despicable company

What a despicable company to deal with!!
We bought a mattress that was faulty when we requested it be replaced as it was under guarantee they said we had to engage with a courier and have it returned to them at our expense for repair!! After some not so pleasant emails they finally agreed to replace it, then 3 weeks later they changed their mind and said we now had to pay for it to be returned during which time we would have nothing to sleep on!! They advertise " a hassle free exchange " - surely this is illegal ? - What a shocking company folks - stay away from them !!!

Ordered a mattress from these jokers……

Ordered a mattress from these jokers… it took an age to turn up and then it wasn’t the thickness that I ordered and bore absolutely no resemblance to the picture I based my order on. Bed-World (Danielle) did respond and said the following
“ Sorry the mattress is estimated to be 10" due to the piping around the edges this does bring down down the depth at the sides, the designs can vary, this should state so in the item description on the wowcher listings, if you are not happy with the mattress by all means return the mattress and we can pass this back to wowcher to refund you.”

Oddly enough I didn’t order from wowchers (I’ve never heard of them!) and as you can see it appears that they have no issue with playing fast and loose with size and description…so if you don’t like it you can go to the trouble and expense of returning it…needless to say I won’t be shopping there again…

I ordered my trio
It turned up with mattresses different depths
The people on the phone told me it would be replaced. It was 3 times
EACH ONE WRONG!!!
I told them to refund me. To be told only if fully wrapped in original packaging.
So I now have a bed that cannot be made into a larger bed. Even though the item description says it can.
NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE!!!!
I have NEVER given a bad review on here before, but these people went way beyond being unhelpful

Excellent service and quality product

Excellent service and quality product. The bed arrived promptly as stated by email. The driver Fahad was a credit to the company, one of the most pleasant delivery drivers I have met, a credit to his company. Has a small problem with the bed which was rectified within the day. Would highly recommend.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. READ THIS REVIEW AND CHOOSE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Despite taking your money very easily, they are incredibly hard to get on the phone, their customer service team tell you different information, their drives are abusive and smash glass with no apology and no compensation. Attached are photos of extreme damage and I am yet to receive any support or compensation. A glass lift fighting and lightbulb were smashed and I was left to clean all the shards. It is appalling.

There is no zero star rating. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. ordered and paid for the bed, given a delivery day. On that morning i was called to say bed was not coming. No info given on new date, nothing. Unprofessionaly, i was sent messages via facebook messenger. All very blasé, and pointless. Luckily i paid using paypal so i will be getting a refund. Others may not be so lucky. In future i will be doing a lot more research before making a large purchase. Well done Paypal!

Terrible customer services

Terrible customer services. Order a bed for my daughter for Christmas. It was due to be delivered Saturday 18th December and didnt arrive. After 3 attempts to contact customer services almost an hour long ringing each time I finally got through. I was told a manager would call me on the monday, sure enough they did 9.30am said they would look ubtovut and call me back. They didnt, it's now 4days till christmas and looks like my daughter isnt getting her present.

Shambolic

Ordered a divan bed and mattress. The mattress came with marks on it and headboard damaged. A refund was offered of £20 or an exchange. We asked for an exchange and have been waiting 4 weeks without a bed for the exchange to take place

Do not use!!

Ordered a divan bed and mattress, turned up and the delivery men refused to help me (5ft 2in woman) carry them upstairs and instead just left them in my hallway.
When I finally got the bed upstairs 2 of the 4 drawers were completely broken I rang customer services and was told I would get replacements 2 days later.
Its now been a week and I still haven't had the replacement drawers despite repeatedly calling and being promised they would be delivered ASAP.
Getting in touch with customer services is a nightmare, they just don't answer and now I can't get hold of any of their departments...the line just drops.
DO NOT USE THESE RIP OFF MERCHANTS!!

They are the worst ever. Purchased a mattress from them in August , they delivered the wrong one. Informed them the same day and I’m still waiting for them to collect and refund me and it’s now November !! I have had to raise a dispute through my bank as despite loads of emails and phone calls they still cannot rectify this problem, they promise pick up and don’t turn up.
ABSOLUTELY APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE
PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY

Absolutely awful company

Absolutely awful company.

Ordered a mattress on 4th October through their eBay store which they listed as next day delivery. Next day comes and nothing gets delivered but I give it the benefit of the doubt.

I hear nothing after contacting them (several times) throughout the week and then on the Thursday and they claim it’s to be delivered on the Saturday(23rd). Saturday comes and I get a text to say the van has broken down and it’ll be with me Sunday, ok fair enough. Sunday comes and I get the same next that the part didnt turn up for the van so it’ll be delivered Monday. Of course Monday 11th comes and I have not received my item.

I contacted them numerous times throughout the week to see where my item was and nobody responded to me. I then finally opened a case with eBay on 15th and they quickly responded to me asking me to close the case as it’ll be with me on Saturday 16th. I’ve taken numerous days off work or uni to sit in and wait for an item that wasn’t going to arrive.

I obviously wasn’t going to close the case until I received my item, but shock my mattress didn’t come. I’ve been contacting them all weekend to see where my mattress is with absolutely no response.

It’s now Monday 18th, two weeks later of ordering a *next day delivery* item having to sleep in my sofa with back issues (hence me ordering a new mattress to help with my back) and I requested a refund. They’ve issued me a refund without replying to any of my previous messages or even so much as an apology.

Absolutely disgusting, false advertisement, terrible customer service.

Do not order off these people, pay a little extra for the convenience.

Never buy from these

Never buy from these. Only given 1 star because i cant give zero stars. Paid £700 for a ottoman bed and mattress. After 4 months both sides of the mattress have given way totally and the bed base is broken. They have refused to do anything about it and say its settlement which is utter rubbish. Stay well clear.

Go else where not worth the hassle!!!

On the day of my delivery the driver hit the wing mirror of my car even though I offered to move my it! Also the feet for the bed were not with the delivery. They sent the feet in the post, but they were dented and poor quality. I changed them at the store in Lakeside they weren’t great either but better than the ones sent. It comes to the point where we’re ready to set up the bed but low and behold the feet are not the correct ones for the bed base. I went to the store again and advise them of this, I then get told the base is incorrect and for different feet (so the whole order was incorrect and isn’t what was delivered) they arranged to get the bed base changed. The day of the second delivery came and there is only one delivery man. He then said he will not be taking the bed that we had brought upstairs back down.. even though they should be treating this as a complaint. My partner starts putting the bed together right away, we then find that the head board doesn’t fit (you’ll see be the pictures everything is just wrong). When I’ve spoken to the bed shop they advised it’s probably because they’ve also sent the wrong headboard too!!! We also had some issues with putting the bed together initially we thought they didn’t provide enough screws but apparently they make beds with four holes but you only need two?? Not only that the bed is actually broken and coming apart. Probably because they only send one man to deliver it? Who knows nevertheless it is all poor quality and poor service which brings me onto requesting for someone senior to contact me….. this is obviously a very hard task which is why they didn’t call me and I am still waiting…. Is there even any point in having this bed if it’s just going to fall apart. This has been such a stressful experience that no one should go through. If anyone is going to take anything from this review and my experience it is to just go else where. It is not worth the hassle. Not only that I am still waiting for my phone call .. this has been dragged out and has been going on since the 24th May 2021.
