Update 16/03/21. 19 days after cancelling my order I have still not received my refund. Emailed them 3 times and 3 times assured they were processing it. I have now had to put it in the hands of my credit card company to get a refund - dreadful company, if I could give them negative stars I would
After ordering the bed, like so many other people it didn't turn up because 'the van broke down' delivery rebooked for today and guess what - you got it - no bed! Seriously unimpressed. They don't answer the phone and the chat is currently offline. Wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered. I will update after I have received a full credit if I ever manage to get hold of them, maybe its time for Matt Alwright to pay them a visit. Please please please don't use this company

Long but honest review avoid this company
Ordered my single bed with mattress and 2 side draws on eBay £238 a bargain for a child’s first bed. Delivery was cancelled on delivery day only being arranged with them a day earlier . Apparently broken down van ( unlikely story same excuse was given to my friend a year ago ) . So my 2 year old had no bed as had sold hers in prep for new one coming . Another night on the sofa . Bed arrived next day no ph call with a time . I was at work had to rely on my video doorbell to tell me when they arrived so I could come home and take delivery .
Base was damaged draws didn’t fit properly , mattress meant to be orthopaedic was super soft but worse of all headboard was a different colour . I contacted bedworld several times and they ignored every message ( all I wanted was a replacement headboard ) I could put of up with the rest .
I opened a case through PayPal as I believed I had buyers protection . They agreed with with PayPal a full refund if I return the bed in 10 days at my own cost !!
I complained to PayPal and they said that’s all they can offer now eBay have changed the payment methods . I am only protected for a refund if I pay return postage . I argued where Will my 2 year old sleep and how am I meant to wrap a bed up so it’s returned undamaged !! And why should I pay £50 courier 🚚
I wish I had read reviews before I purchased had the headboard been the correct colour I would have made do .
It looks like on eBay they are selling phone accessories to hide all the negative reviews on beds and mattresses .

Bought a bed for my friend to be delivered to her house. I was told a date for delivery so took day of work then got text to say van had broken down but they said it would arrive next day so that meant another day off work and it NEVER arrived. After many phone calls they gave me another date.....yes van broke down😡 but would be there next day and it NEVER arrived. So after 4 days off work for no delivery to appear they then gave me another date and it eventually did arrive. But I’m well out of pocket after taking 4 days off work for delivery. Whenever I phoned company they just said I don’t know how this is happening. Will never use this company again.

After checking they WOULD deliver to the bedroom we ordered a specific "Medium mattress" coil spring, memory cool foam top.
Yes they called beforehand to confirm delivery However the driver arrived, shoved paperwork at us and "dumped" the king sized mattress in the front garden and quite simply took off DESPITE the delivery note clearly stating "Deliver to Bedroom"
Well with the help of a neighbour we managed to get it up into the bedroom BUT I wonder if these are "Seconds" as the mattress was NOT as described The Joseph Bravo pocket spring memory 2000 states the spec this has NO turning handles on it and it is certainly not "medium" we have had in the past Slumberland, Meyers and others ALL Medium this is on the firm side to be fair I would NOT recommend this Company at all, We ordered a bed frame from elsewhere it came the courier brought it to the door offered to assist to take it upstairs but we were fine with that. Yes we did call Bed World yes they offered "apology" in such a way I got the idea it was not an unusual thing

Great Customer Service and Delivery
I contacted customer service with regards to a 4 month old mattress that was defective. After viewing images of the mattress, customer services didn't hesitate to offer a replacement and the new mattress was delivered as promised. The delivery guy was was friendly and even helped carry the mattress to within our doorway. Great service all round.
Disgusting Delivery Driver! I'd have been sacked!
I am writing this to inform you all of the absolutely disgusting service I have just received from one of their delivery drivers. He goes by the name of 'Karl' which I'm not sure I choose to believe. He was eastern European, tall, slim bloke with black hair and black sunglasses.
Firstly he rudely came to the front door after being aggressive and unpleasant on the phone to my mother, (who was at work) after he was incapable of finding number 39. He made it very clear to me how disgusted he was to not be able to find the delivery address and that he had been waiting for me to answer the phone to my mother for 'half an hour'. Which is a lie. I telephoned my mother back within a minute and was at the front door within 30 seconds of putting the phone down. I promtly said to him that I do not need to be shouted at on my own doorstep and my elderly neighbours do not want the disturbance either. He proceeded to shout at me, telling me he couldn't find the address and threw the Delivery Note at myself. I asked him to stop the aggressive behaviour and just deliver the bedframe.
Secondly, he had the cheek to ask my partner to go out to his van to collect the bedframe pieces. This is not normal behaviour of a delivery driver, is it not? If my partner wasn't there, would I have been expected to carry a double bedframe to my own house? You don't get that treatment from SCS or Glasswells.
Last but not least, he had absolutely no idea what bedframe he was delivering to my address and proceeded to shout across the courtyard to my front door asking what it was I actually had ordered. Once the bedframe was finally delivered and in the house by my partner, I asked the delivery driver for his name and whether or not he worked for BedWorld full-time. His response was, 'Well what's your name?!' Not behaviour I expect from a fully grown man, however I told him and he responded after a pause with 'Karl' giving me reason to believe that this, is in-fact, not his real name. As I went to go back into my property, I said thank-you and he shouted across the courtyard after me 'you need to sort your attitude out lady' to which I replied, 'I think maybe you need to work on your customer service.' To which I got the aggressive response of 'You need to sort your attitude!' By which time, 3 of my neighbours were stood in their doorways to see what all the disturbance was about. I live in a very very quiet area of woodbridge and this absolutely disgusting behaviour has upset myself and a lot of my neighbours.
My mother and myself feel utterly horrified by the behaviour we have witnessed and been subjected to today. If I ever spoke to any of my customers this way, I'd have been sacked instantly.

it s a shame that i cannot give less then 1 star, this company is absolutly a joke. We ordered our bed and matress 1 month ago 26/10/2020. To be honest the bed came quite quick but it came with a wrong matress and the bed was damaged, we contacted the customer service and told them about the issue and tthe guy said that we cannot give us a full refund the only thing that can do is to send us a new bed. ok...so we had to wait again 12 days for another bed... the bed came and is wrong matress again also the bed is having deffects. So we contacted this guys again!!!! and they offered me a 30 pounds refund and a new matreess again!! so this is just a joke, i had to take 2 times days off to wait for the bed cause they giving you a whole day delivery window . and I had to take my bed upstairs by myself first time . after i had to take the bed downstair by myself and take the new one upstairs again. this is just a joke !! I do not reccomand to order from this comapany. :) very poor quality and customer service.

Great service from bedworld all round. Efficient and professional customer service on every phone call and Idris the delivery driver was super and the second driver was fab too. Really pleased with the bunk bed and two very happy little boys sleeping in them! Thank you bed world.
Speedy delivery and great customer service
Ordered my bed Thursday and it arrived the following Friday giving the fact when ordering it stated can take up to 10 workings days. Emailed regarding update of order and responded back within minutes very helpful telling me I should get a call within the next day regarding the delivery day and time. Which I did, confirmed address very secure and told me the order was going to be delivered Friday between 8am-12pm. Delivery man came rang when he was outside my apartment and helped bring the bed and mattress that I ordered in. Very friendly and helpful customer service

Ordered a bed from these people on Facebook. Bed was delivered at 8:30am this morning, bed was delivered in poor quality. When we tried to contact the people about this they took about 3 hours to get back to us. They didn’t bother answering their phone so we could sort it out. It was only until I started messaging on their fb page they started to remove my comments and then started to communicate with my partner and not me for some reason. They ended up blocking me on WhatsApp when I tried to send them pictures. Honestly one of the worst experiences of buying a bed i’ve ever had. Horribly made, no form of compromising they honestly didn’t care and would have rather taken the whole bed back in nearly a weeks time then to give a part refund as the bed was no made to the price it’s selling for. Honestly think this place is ripping people off. I do not recommend at all!

Bought a double bed with headboard and matress . Fabulous colour and quick delivery until i sat on it . The bases were faulty. They have now tried to replace them 4 times and each time send wrong colour! Still no bed. Nearly an hour on hold today and hung up. They keep sending us the same bases they collected the week before !! Waiting on a response now as paid for a bed in Sept that i dont have yet. Customer service not good so far as no one really taking responsibilty. I hope they do soon or ill do a chargeback at my bank as paid for an item i still dont have delivered yet. !!! The item quality was good but service is letting them down.

If you try to call to company I'll advise do not waist your precious time they not going to unswer even is you wait for 1 hour which i did. Eventually communicating through email i managed to cancel my order and get my money back. They have no interest to deliver your goods at all.
