I inherited a coin collection and was planning on getting a few appraisals but after dealing with Maddy in Bellevue I instantly knew I was dealing with a honest and thorough appraisal and sold everything on the spot. She was amazing and so knowledgeable about the collection. She took her time explaining everything, showing us pricing in books and I left feeling 100% comfortable about the offer. I was told from a family member that Bellevue rare coins was a really good place to sell your jewelry. I went to the Lynnwood location and drove all the way out there just to find out that my jewelry estimate was completely off. They low balled me. The person who appraised my jewelry, I feel that he didn't do his job right. There is a better store by the Commons mall that I can get way more then Lynnwood believe coins. Very disappointed and I will never go to any Bellevue rare coins again.

I reached out to Bellevue Rare Coins because they claimed to buy and offer appraisals on vintage comic books. I explained that I had not just one, but a collection of books. I was then asked to make an appointment to visit Bellevue Rare Coins when a qualified appraiser would be available.

When I arrived at the Bellevue location as was agreed, I was greeted congenially by a staffer who started to look at my books. He was unable to establish interest in my collection by reading a detailed inventory I provided. After inspecting a just a few books I was asked if would leave my collection with them for review. I balked at this request and was told their comic "expert" was at the Issaquah store and I could make an appointment to meet with him.

I already made an appointment and was disappointed. The old adage of "Underpromise and overdeliver" Seems not to be a policy of this business.

To be clear, I was treated in a friendly, courteous manner. The business simply failed to provide a service as promised.

The jewelry appraisal I received was only about 15-20% of what we paid for them. Surprisingly, the top-quality Leo Diamonds were way undervalued. Essentially, I received a valuation based only on the weight of the gold, with nothing added for quality and appearance. It was like a bad pawn shop experience.

Zack was very helpful he got me my coins in a reasonable amount of time even went to another shop to get the order for me quicker and I appreciate his professionalism I can't remember the ladies name behind the counter but she was also very helpful I will do further business with this establishment because of this and the price was reasonable also for the coins that I picked up

Angel was so patient and helpful. I can only imagine she answers the same questions multiple times a day. I have learned something each time I have gone in. I still have so much to learn about buying precious metals and it is nice to build a relationship with the same people. Steve has helped me in the past and he was super patient and taught me a lot.
