Mystery items

I was lucky enough to get in fast enough for the mystery items and the quality of the pieces I received exceeded expectations! They are all so beautiful. My little girl is going to love her tutu for her birthday 🥰

I haven’t received my item

I haven’t received my item as my neighbour stole my package. Still haven’t received my refund or received much communication from owners. I understand there are processes and Australia post are making it difficult to refund the company. But I am left out of pocket and no package.
Have purchased from them before with no issues and absolutely love their products

SO SOFT!!!

Highly, highly recommend Ruby & Team at Bencer and Hazelnut!! Their products are amazing quality, and their jumpers are so so buttery soft. They are my go to children’s clothing store when it comes to gifting to friends and family or just buying something special for ourselves!
I’ve bought online through them a few times but have also purchased at places locally where they already have their beautiful items stocked. They are a family favourite, my two girls myself and fiancé all wear B&H clothing.

The quality and style is wonderful, website needs improving

The quality is wonderful and the items are unique in their look and feel. This is a wonderful family business and I always look forward to their next release of clothing! I would like to see some improvements made to the website to make it easier to shop, which is why I often purchase B&H through other stockists. I have tried without success to find a way to filter on the B&H website to only show items in a certain size, which you can do on many other websites, Fox and Roo for example. It makes shopping for high demand releases and sales tricky, because you spend so much time trying to find something in the size you need, that it then becomes sold out. I also would like to see the item pictures improved. It would be great if they could take photos of babies, children and adults in the items rather than having them flat on a surface, as this would give us more of an idea of how they fit. Considering there are no returns, I think this would make a big difference to how much I purchase as I try to stick to low risk purchases in case items look different on a real person to how they look flat on a surface.

One of the best brands around!

I’ve been purchasing items from here for years now and there’s a reason why! Beautiful items, amazing quality and I love how the bigger they get, it still has that small family business feel. Ruby goes above and beyond for all of her customers. It will be nice to look back on all the special moments, especially Christmas memories and see the beautiful clothes they are dressed in because of the sweet collections they release. My kiddies will wear B&H for as long as they fit in them x

Nice products but POOR service

Beautiful quality products that we love. I would love to order again from this store but sadly it was the customer service that let us down.

I purchased in a pre order months in advance of Father’s Day and half the order did not arrive in time. It was later found out that the missing pieces were posted the week of and came a week after the event. Despite many emails back and forth it was apparent that they had their money and did not care, not did they provide explanation for what happened, offer some sort of compensation or even acknowledgement that something went wrong. I was repeatedly told the items would arrive on time and to have a good day and when I expressed frustration that the items did not arrive in time, I stopped getting a response.

Hi Alex, Thanks for your review. I understand you werent happy with your experience and I do apologise for that. Just to clarify, this was one item, delivered the next day, majority of the order did arrive with lots of time to spare. We did have a few shirts we needed to send seperately, our preorder agreement is estimated times only so we could have held other items but did do our best to get it all to arrive in time by splitting the order. We emailed both yourself & the other customers explaining it would be sent seperately, and then a further update when we were packing & then again when shipped. You mentioned this hadnt been recieved so I did also provide an explaination via direct email as well. We shipped via express with plenty of time to arrive and it was in Adelaide for 2 days it was looking good to do so, which is what I had said via email. I do apologise it was late, looking at the tracking I am not really sure why it wasnt delivered the Friday. Glad to hear you loved the quality & appreciate you taking the time to leave your feedback.

Not worth it at all

I have thought month long and hard before writing this review. I know only a few will look into Trustpilot. I know once the owner sees this, her legion of paid influencers and followers will come drown this to be hidden.

But I hope some smart moms will take time to read this and see where I was coming from.

I’ve also taken time to read the other reviews, observe how the brand/alongside other brands operate and I’ve always been a firm believer of treating others the way you want to be treated. My husband and friends knows I’ve been treated poorly by this brand.

Having spent thousands of dollars, I was pretty happy with some orders I got from them. The quality is good to say the least.

I even sucked up the huge shipping fee which I usually am turned off. Idk why their shipping is that high compared to other brands— aus post is slow af.

But what turned me off from this brand to delete 1000$ worth of Christmas shopping is how unprofessional the owner is with dealing with my concern.

I received the mystery bags order after one gruesome month of waiting and it is disappointing (needs more gravity on that term). I got a LOT of duplicates and on the same size as well. The lack of care made towards creating that bulk order is appalling. The ones from known people (influencers/ huge following/sneak peeker) gets really amazing ones. Multiple items for 10$? What?
But I am raised to look at other people’s bowl to see if they have enough, not to see if I have as much as them — however, being a customer that is passionately supporting this brand, to be given all duplicates of same items and 2 small sized pants that does not fit my baby, is outrageous and not fair at all.

I raised it to the owner instead of bringing this to social media, but she basically made me feel “suck it up buttercup.” I showed her message to my mom friends to see if I really am at fault and they were all angry.

I have read the negative comments here and she at some point offers compensation especially from the angry ones.
On my end, it’s not the 10$ that makes me feel disappointed. That’s just money. It’s how I was treated and there wasn’t even an apology or a promise to do better. I was told, well, there’s an AGREEMENT you got to click and you did click it, right? So it’s out of our hands. I was in shock.

I am just a small speck of dust compared to her huge orders/lots of rave for her drops.
I am a business owner myself and knows what customer service is… i do not want to believe the reviews and comments I saw on groups but here I am.

I just hope nobody gets to experience this anymore. The products are not cheap af. Please respect us as customers as well.

You just lost a faithful, passionate customer. Thank you for bringing sadness to this momma’s heart by being unkind.

In summary why you shouldn’t support B&H:
1. Shipping fee is 25aud and gets higher as you add more items (i carted a bulk order of mugs and it’s not flat rate 25$)
2. Shipping time / wait time is terrible. It always shows it’s in sorting center to blame AUS post but turns out, it still hasn’t been picked up. Misleading.
3. Customer service is terrible.
4. Lack of genuine empathy from the company.
5. Small sizing that does not fit an average size baby and no returns/exchange can be made

Amazing quality clothing, Great customer service, I quite often pre order items and the owner is great and keeps you in the loop with when theyre getting posted.

Im in New Zealand too, buying from overseas has been fantastic with this company.
