Chris Billingham helped us with our fixed rate mortgage in 2020, and most recently he helped us port this. He is a pleasure to speak to and super responsive. We look forward to working with him in 2025 for our remortgage.

I owe a huge amount of thanks to Bennison Brown, with particular thanks to Keith and his team. Without them I wouldn’t be sat in my first home writing this review! It was good fortune that I came across BB whilst listening to a podcast and where it was explained that they can assist in mortgages for medical professionals, where complex work patterns and rotations usually make mortgage applications difficult if not impossible. I had resigned myself to another year of waiting to buy a home, having been knocked back by other brokers and lenders who refused to apply some common sense to my work schedules. Keith understood the nuances of working as a Doctor and the complex NHS pay systems and provided advice and expertise through what has been a turbulent time for any house purchase, let alone with my background. He was successful in getting me a mortgage offer in a timely fashion (beating the subsequent rate rises) and Clare supported the process from there. This all came with a very reasonable fee structure. I would have no hesitations in using them again, and have recommended them to both family and friends, especially those in similar occupational and financial situations.

I purchased a property as a buy-to-let property and used Bennison Brown Mortgages as my mortgage advisor and Michael Bennison was assigned as my mortgage advisor. I have listed five reasons why you should use Bennison Brown when purchasing a property.

Bennison Brown is amazing ! As a first time buyer who had absolutely no clue about mortgages to getting my keys next week, I could not be happier with the service that was provided. From finding you the best deals to sorting out your protection they have you covered on it all start to finish. My advisor was Kieth and he was brilliant, very personable, understanding of all my questions and quick responses so I wasn’t ever left in the dark. Working alongside him was Susan and Claire who were both just as fabulous. Milan the protection advisor was great aswell even when I was chopping and changing my requests constantly … so I definitely kept him on his toes but he was very supportive throughout. To sum up absolutely fabulous and would highly recommend to anyone if you want a quick and seamless journey to getting your mortgage !

We eventually completed our first house purchase a few months ago (eek) and throughout what has ended up being quite a stressful process (how naive we were when it seemed to start off so well!), Bennison Brown have been a constant support throughout meaning everything they've been involved with, we've not been stressed about. Looking back, contacting Bennison Brown was the best decision we made in this whole process! From our initial contact with Daniel to get our first appointment booked, the lovely ladies (who's names I didn't catch!) who call the day before appointments just to check the date/ time is still ok and in one case let us know someone was off so we weren't waiting around, Bobbie - who has ensured our case has kept ticking along the entire time, Chris - our advisor - who it feels has gone above and beyond to get things done quickly, look for options/ solutions that will suit our situation, and basically held our hand through the great unknown of mortgages (!), Milan and Grace who've been fighting our corner from an insurance perspective, and just everyone we've had the pleasure to speak to at Bennison Brown - we can't thank them enough. Can't think of anything remotely negative to say! We've already recommended BB to a friend who was terrified at the thought of starting the buying process, and will be recommending (from the rooftops) to anyone else we know who takes the plunge!
