From when we placed our order right up to delivery kept informed of next steps. On the day of delivery drivers turned up and had the old bed taken down and the new one built in no time.

Absolutely brilliant
The salesman was very knowledgeable and gave me plenty of time to try out the mattresses to find the one I felt comfortable on.
The delivery team were very respectful of my property and very polite. They even cleaned the small amount of mud off the plastic wrapping to make sure my house didn't get dirty! They were brilliant guys and I will recommend Bensons to my friends and family as a result of their hard work.

A good review of the shop experience
So far we have been to the shop and ordered a mattress and then from that a bed base. We will post a further review when the bed is delivered and installed.
However the experience in the shop was a very good one with Maria being very knowledgeable and friendly and she had the ability to provide helpful advice and guidance without being pushy. This created a relaxed and comfortable shopping environment. She was patient and willing to assist in finding the perfect product for us and we appreciated her honesty

Met with a smile and hello
Met with a smile and hello by Stuart . Was shown all beds that we asked about and more. Then left to browse, no pressure at anytime, felt comfortable. Made my choice, sat down and was told about cover etc, which I took, made payment, given paperwork, told when delivery would be. Left store very happy.

This review relates to the delivery process only . The in-store buying process was very good.
Delivery was on time - the issue was with one of the delivery men. His attitude was way below an acceptable standard - surly, unfriendly and a very poor advert for your Company.
He was asked to attach a headboard to the bed being delivered - I had to confirm it had been bought from Bensons before he grudgingly did the minor work. However it was only after they had left that I realised he had put the headboard on upside down !
If he doesn’t want to do this work then he should find something else, maybe not customer-facing. A very poor link in an otherwise good experience.

Excellent service in Basingstoke.
I visited Bensons for beds in Basingstoke to enquire about an odd size hybrid mattress. Although Lucy had none that would be suitable, she trawled the Internet searching for one. The result was she put me in touch with a company in Glasgow, who manufacturer bespoke mattresses to order. Result! Lucy was polite, friendly and extremely efficient, she's one to hold on to for sure. Just in case someone in management is reading this, give Lucy a pay rise and increase your commission payments!
