After suffering from backache following surgery in 2020, my mattress just didn’t support my needs any more. We called in at Bishop Auckland branch and was shown around by Jasmine who was very knowledgeable and understood our needs. We tried 5 mattresses in total and over the hour we spent there, kept going back to the I-Gel Firm 2050. Jasmine didn’t hurry us or try to sell us the most expensive, she was very patient and just guided us when needed. When the mattress arrived we were so worried because my husband hadn’t had back issues and was comfy with the old mattress and what if he developed problems with changing it. We took the 40 night trial terms to cover these worries. The first 3 nights he had mild issues and mine issues seemed to almost disappear. Now three weeks on and he’s as comfortable as before and my back issues have all but disappeared. It’s the comfiest mattress ever and I’d highly recommend it. Thank you Jasmine and Bensons for making life just that little bit better. A seamless service and we also saved £330 in the March sale so bonus all round. P.s we won’t be needing that 40 night trial haha!

Upon entering the shop the pushy sales girl immediately pounced on me, I had just got through the door. Less than a minute later a guy walked in and had a brief conversation with her, slagging off a store colleague that was not in, to which they both had a laugh at the name he'd made up for her. What an absolute disgrace.
Pushy sales girl Jasmine, wanted to know what I wanted, was I looking for something in particular, did I have an idea of what I wanted. Skilled at harassing a customer. I knew exactly what I wanted, I did say I was fine and didn't need help, but still she persisted. I was sharp after the next ambush but that didn't deter her. Then she needed my details for an invoice which was unnecessary. At this point the short plump guy intervened feeling he had to have his input and and felt it necessary to explain the purpose of an invoice. Clearly ignored by me checking an email he shut up and carried on ripping up boxes. What a plonker.

Awful staff, save yourself the bother and go elsewhere.

Really great service right from the start & we were made to feel very welcome from the minute we walked in the door. Nothing was too much trouble for Stephanie & she assisted us through the whole experience from choosing the right bed for our little 2 year old, to helping with picking a new headboard, pillow, quilt & mattress protector.

Because of Stephanie's help we even bought 2 new matresses for our other 2 little ones as we were made to feel so welcome & at ease dealing with her.

I went in knowing exactly which bed I wanted. The transaction was done a dusted in 15 minutes. No wasting of my time. Great service!
