Complicated non user friendly instructions. Very small diagrams easy to miss finer details.
Appalling customer care dreadful experience I would never ever recommend this company or their beds.

Customer care is non existent sarcastic and unhelpful. Cannot get a refund will be taking this to citizens advice

A word to the wise: Do not buy from these people!!
However, I need to put a caveat on my opinion. None of my shocking experiences are directed at the Staff at the Braintree Showroom for they were very good but it all went terribly wrong thereafter.
A combination of serious incompetence from their Distrubution Warehouse and together with their Customer (Lack of) Services was when it rapidly deteriorated.
Firstly, after many many weeks of waiting for the delivery day for the mattress, they instead delivered to my cottage a budget mattress instead of what we had ordered. I asked the Distribution Warehouse to take it back. Several hours later that day they very promptly collected it from my address.
So unimpressed, a few days later I contacted their Customer 'Lack of' Service and asked for a refund.
They then informed me that I still had the mattress and were unable to offer a full refund until the mattress was returned as they had no record of it being returned. At was as this point where my blood vessels were tested to breaking point.
I wont bother going into the finer detail but many weeks passed and my insistence that it was returned fell on deaf ears.
My frustrations grew ever deeper while dealing with this farcical situation while abroad at the time I was at the bedside of my seriously ill brother who was in Intensive Care and where he remained for 2.5 months.
The incompetence of Bensons for Beds caused me so much stress and all very unnecessary.
It was eventually established the mattress was in fact returned but only after numerous phone calls by me to the Customer Services.
£60 compensation offer was insulting which I duly declined.

Shona was really kind and helpful the whole way. I mentioned myself and my partner were on a slightly lower budget and that we were building our own bed frame, and she gave us PERFECT recommendations based on both of those things, and even some advice on our bed frame to make our mattress feel a bit firmer. From past experience, It’s nice to know there are customer service people out there that still make the effort for younger customers paying a little less. Bensons quality is fab and so is Shona’s customer service!

It was a good experience but unfortunately the lady who was helping us had very little experience and could only answer questions by reading the label on the mattress which we could have done plus she added £100 care kit to the bill without asking me but she removed it once I realised .

Ordered a recycled mattress In store to arrive on 10 April. 16.30 on 09 April, received a text at the same time as an email. Both giving totally different reasons to why the mattress wont be delivered and totally different new delivery times. So clearly untrue.
Rang the shop who could / would not help. Rang Customer Services - turns out Bensons For Beds can take your money even though there might not be a recycled mattress for purchase!

The gentleman was brilliant he wasn't overbearing. He listened to what we wanted and to the fact we were originally just looking. He was at hand at any point when we had questions but was not.hovering. extremely polite and greeted us the moment we walked into the store. We originally left to have lunch and have a chat about what we wanted and he was not pushy whatsoever that we hadn't made a decision and wished us a nice day. We came back after about an hour and he was just as polite as before. He gave us all of the information possible. He was upbeat and positive throughout. Everything was done swiftly and gave us all of our options to do with collection or delivery with the relevant prices. Everything was clear and accommodating for us! Tim is an amazing asset to the team at bensons for beds! We couldn't have asked for better service!

Great friendly staff from start of chooseing mattress to delivery everyone was great made it less stressfull all staff listen to ur needs

Staff were very knowledgeable and helped us decide which bed would be best without pushing the most expensive.

Choosing item and delivery on the day - fine. What was not good was that the original delivery date was not honoured, was told on the day that it was not loaded onto van, then told it was not available for four weeks, then told it would be delivered Friday (after I threatened to cancel order).
