Regret for buying from Benson for beds.
Purchased a superking sized bed with mattress and headboard in June, to be delivered on 7th July, about a week or 2 before delivery I got an email saying there will be a delay, and the date is pushed back to 29th July, these things happen, I work evenings so often I return home late, between 2-3 am, so waking up for early deliveries is not an easy task, on the 29th delivery was set between 930 -1130 so I went to the house after work stayed ov3r night to get this delivery, for some reason I couldn't hear them turn up at 10 and the delivery failed, I noticed this around 1030, which is still within my 2 hour slot, so I called Benson's Beds up to see if they can come back, this was all well within my timeslot, but apparently the drivers says they cannot and delivery has to be rescheduled, disappointing and wasted effort, but i have to accept, because I didn't hear them come. A week goes past and delivery was set for today between 730-930. Yesterday afternoon I received a call from Benson's warehouse saying do some reason my base is separated from the headboard and mattress, and only the latter 2 can be delivered to me today... And my alternative option is have all 3 items delivered on 28th Aug! I couldn't believe it,it's almost as if they are telling me my bed is the only one in the country and its been lost,I am not accepting this and told them to deliver the headboard and mattress first, hopefully it will trigger some sense of urgency to get the remaining (main) part of the bed delivered, so I calles them up and spoke to somebody in customer service WhatsApp called Thomas, asking him when I will get the rest of it, he is basically saying there's nothing they can do and there's no solution or timescale of how anything is going to be done and all I can do is wait for their call and arrange delivery again... This is beyond frustrating ...I Spent £1800 on a bed and it can't even be delivered properly, how can the aftercare be so bad, and how can they not present some idea of solution when they have known the problem for days already. This is ridiculous
