The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Aaron was the employee that gave us details/feedback on different mattress types, and how Benson for Beds is handling bed orders (you can mix/match headrest, base, storage type and mattress; Each of those is different type!). We've had a chance to test every single bed type in peace (but got answers to our questions instantly)

Friendly helpful staff. No high pressure sales tactics.

I went into Bensons not really knowing what I wanted only that I needed a bed a mattress. Upon entering the store, I was immediately greeted by Hannah where she asked if I needed assistance however I was just in to have a look around.
Once I had found a bed that I really liked she came over and talked me through the features of the bed and gave me the dimensions. Then throughout purchasing the bed and mattress she was very clear and lovely and spoke about all the payment options, delivery, construction etc.
Overall she made the experience very smooth and enjoyable.

Staff member Gabriel was friendly, attentive but respectful and made us feel at ease during the buying process. Good range of mattresses in stock to try. Helpful guidance from staff about what would suit our needs

I had not even gone into the shop with the intent of buying, I was window shopping. But the service from Josh was so good that I placed an order for a bed.

The young lady was very helpful, talked us through everything, had us try the bed with different firmness settings, showed us different mattresses, then left us to wonder round on our own until we decided, Hannah was very helpful

My daughter Hannah works here and showed me the tempur mattress. She told me all the benefits and I was instantly sold. Purchased the mattress back in February.
Delivery was super fast and even got recycling of old mattress and bed. Delivery team were fantastic. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Mattress is like sleeping on a cloud and I don't wake with an achy shoulder anymore.

Helpful staff in store who recommended what we needed. I then ordered online a few months later - all very easy, quick delivery window and lovely delivery drivers. It took a little while to assemble the bed but the instructions were clear and we did it quite easily. My daughter is delighted with her new bed.

Brilliant in store service. I felt I was treated like an individual... After feeling fobbed off by an online agent.

Hey there! So, my girlfriend and I went to Bensons and Beds in March to buy a mattress. We had a friendly guy named Josh helping us out, but he was a bit too friendly and chatty for our liking. We just wanted to buy a mattress and get out of there, not have a long conversation.

Anyway, we told him we had a budget of up to £300. He made me feel a bit embarrassed in front of my girlfriend and sold us a mattress for £650! That was way above our budget, but he put a lot of pressure on us to buy the more expensive one.

I was already starting to sweat because I knew I’d have to use credit cards. As we sat down at the desk to pay, I noticed the price going up on the computer.

I realised he had added a mattress protector for £40 and something else for £30, which was a kind of kit with sprays and stuff. We didn’t need that, so I told him I didn’t ask for it and asked him to remove it.

Something felt off, so I just paid the deposit (£150) and left. The next day, I went online and found that the same mattress was 20% cheaper! So, I called the store to pay the rest 2 days later and told Josh and the person on the phone that the same mattress was 20% cheaper online.

The person on the phone said they didn’t know if the price could be reduced or not and had to speak to the manager. I would have canceled the order if they wouldn’t apply the discount, but the employee called me back a few minutes later and said they had reduced the price, but the delivery date would be in April. No problem for us.

We went to the store to pick up a new receipt, and Hannah was absolutely lovely and helpful! I think she’s the employee of the month!!!!

So, that was my experience with Bensons and Beds. The mattress was delivered today, and the guys put it on the frame. Excellent delivery!
