Overall the experience and service was great but it was spoiled by the extortionate add on prices for delivery £59, assembly £40 and removal of old bed £100. A tad greedy imo. We've purchased our last 6 beds/mattresses from Bensons but will not be returning.

Very helpful staff, wanted a traditional mattress but thought because of our bulkhead/stairs measurement we would have to go for a mattress in a box, staff came up with the solution of zip and link mattress

Purchased 2 igel pillows side sleepers…
Purchased 2 igel pillows side sleepers £79.99 each, we tried display model which was o.k.
When we unpackaged one of the pillows it was really firm with no movement, had not used one was not even opened.
After returning to speak with Doncaster store manageress who declined to give her name and explained the situation she offered us 2 pillow cases for whatever reason, said for hygiene reasons not returnable, this was not explained at time of purchase and because the pillows are unused l cannot believe the stores attitude we had only had the pillows for a few hours.
We have spent thousands in DONCASTER store , will not be shopping with them ever again, most stores except returns on pillows unused in original packaging.
Cannot imagine why on this occasion the manageress state for hygiene reasons when as explained one of the pillows was unopened, and one had only been opened for a few hours. WOW APPALLING.
The response really missed the point, not surprising bensons for beds have no filter at all.

Brilliant from before purchase right up to delivery!!
We went into the store on York Rd, Doncaster & was approached by sales man Martin, who left us to browse at our leisure, once we’d had a good luck round he asked if we needed any help? He gave us some helpful advice & was very pleasant without being pushy to get a sale . We decided on our choice of Mattress and again Martin was really helpful & gave us some great advice on what to except regarding delivery & how to look after our new purchase once it arrived.
We received regular updates regarding our delivery, a phone call the day before to confirm everything was ok & another call 30 mins before they arrived.
Reece & Colin were very polite & friendly, made carrying a heavy mattress upstairs look very easy .
Top quality delivery service!!
Thankyou to everyone at Benson for Beds for making it an enjoyable experience from start to finish.
