Friendly service, accurate information about my chosen mattress, although I was unable to visit the store personally, and appreciation of order.

Big range of attractive stock. Charlie knowledgeable and, whilst keen to show me what was available, wasn’t pushy. My choices & subsequent order were checked carefully & dealt with efficiently & some discount offered. Recommended.

Staff in the shop were very helpful. Didn't rush us insisted we try all the mattresses nothing was a bother.
Delivery guys brilliant Willie and Ally very respectful to my property took good care when bringing bed in.

Bought a bed frame and mattress in Dumfries store on 30/07/2023 for £1302.48. Was offered a delivery date of 2-3 weeks. Agreed on delivery of 4 weeks to coincide with my move in date to new home.
Received an email on 18/08/2023 to say it was delayed until 03/10/2023. Fine, things happen, so have been sleeping on the sofa until today (03/10/2023). Phoned up Benson's for Beds this morning to ask for my delivery window timeframe only to be told there has been another delay until November at the earliest. Absolutely no communication about this until I phoned them. I had taken a day off work so I could be at the house to receive the bed. Got a very half hearted apology that they were sorry that I hadn't been notified of the delay and their response to what I should do was to order another bed frame from them. Just a shocking experience in terms of customer service.
Asked for a full refund and the gentleman stated that since I bought it in store I would need to get a refund from the store itself and he couldn't do it. So now I need to wait until the store is open to get my refund. Will definitely be buying elsewhere.
The icing on the cake is that if you go online and look at the bed frame that I ordered (Imogen) it currently states delivery of 3-4 weeks. So they are lying on their website as well about delivery time frames.

Knowledgable, helpful and friendly staff. Asked pertinent questions to gain type of mattress required and gave an overview of each one we were interested in. Took their time explaining each mattress. Didn’t feel pressured or rushed.

I felt listened too and not pressured by salesperson. He took time to explain and show me various options. No problems at all with your dumfries shop staff. But the subsequent email you sent co firming my order along with pictures showed bed with drawer option when my purchase invoice clearly says ottoman option. Phoned store who confirmed correct option was on the order. Fingers crossed the right bed arrives.
What I would add from the outside it didn't look as if store was open. Inside lovely and bright. Maybe planter on wheels could be wheeled in and out on daily basis or large cut out something
