Excellent service from start to finish. Guided to the mattresses I was looking for. Firm Ortho. No pressure sale in shop. Paperwork sorted. Extra for taking old mattress away which was worth every penny.
2 delivery drivers arrived on time, polite and efficient. All sorted in 15 mins. Left the mattress to air out and had a marvellous sleep since!

We went to Bensons for Beds to look at and purchase a new mattress. On entry into the shop we were greeted by Shannon the sales advisor who asked what our needs was and the type we were interested in.
We were taken to a "Bed" that when lying in our normal sleeping position would determine the type needed.
Following this experience we then explained the manufacturer we wanted she then took us to sit and ly on some various types. We chose the one we wanted and it was delivered and on our bed within a week.
We can't express enough how courteous and professional Shannon was throughout the whole experience and we wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Bensons For Beds.

Our order was delivered on time with good communication regarding the delivery. The staff instore were friendly and helpful and explained everything to us around what to expect.

Good buying experience with no pressure. Left to tour shop unattended before asking for assistance. Staff very informative, giving excellent advise and assistance. Bed and mattress delivered on time by polite and friendly staff. Can't fault.

Just bought a bed at the Oldham store, very happy with the service and the time taken by Emma to explain the options. I gave her my price limits and she found a couple of decent beds for me to try, before I settled on one that suited my needs. Pricing was clearly explained and delivery only 2 weeks away, which I think is good. This is my second purchase here in 2 years and I would recommend

very helpful friendly, attentive member of staff. My only disappointment was that there was no mention of £50 delivery charge, which we saw on the invoice after we had left the store.

Colin was great. He did a sleeppro to find out what firmness I needed as I’ve never bought a bed before. I would recommend bensons.

I recently purchased a mid sleeper bed from the Elk Mill Oldham branch of Bensons for Beds, and my experience has been extremely disappointing.
At the point of sale, I was reassured that the bed would be assembled on delivery. This was a key factor in my decision to go ahead with the purchase, as assembling a mid sleeper is not a simple task.
However, just days before delivery, I received an email from Bensons’ external contractor stating that the bed would not be assembled. I contacted the Oldham branch and spoke with the manager, Darren, who initially said he would check this as he believed assembly should be included. When he called me back, he confirmed that the bed would indeed not be assembled.
I was then given two options: cancel the order or pay an additional £100 to have it assembled privately. This is completely unacceptable. I entered into the purchase on the clear understanding that assembly was included, and this directly influenced my decision.
Darren refused to honour what was agreed at the point of sale or offer any meaningful compensation, stating that because the bed was purchased on promotion, nothing could be done. Whether the item was on sale or not is irrelevant—this was an error on your part, and it should have been rectified.
This situation represents poor customer service and a failure to honour agreed terms. It could have been handled much better by the branch. A simple resolution—such as arranging assembly as originally promised—would have avoided this entire issue.
Overall, this experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I would advise others to double-check all delivery and assembly terms in writing before purchasing.

Just been to Bensons for beds in Oldham was greated by Colin and put on the bed that looks at your pressure points, and went through what sort of mattress we needed. He was very knowledgeable and understood our needs and was not pushy. We felt listened to and advised, and don't normally buy on the spot but did today, and have no regrets.

The young lady was very helpful and explained all the different beds and mattresses

We went to Bensons at Elk Mill, Oldham and found the team were really helpful and knowledgeable.. Colin and Owen were fantastic.. a great experience and would recommend..and Owen was generous with his biscuits.. :)

The service was brilliant from start to finish. The showroom staff were knowledgeable and helpful and the delivery people were brilliant, O and love the new bed too 😁.

The staff at the local Bensons store were very helpful and able to give good advice so that we could decide on the right mattress for us. The store was clean and well lit and shopping there was a good experience.
