Purchased a pillow for £80. Had it for couple of days, unused in pack. Realised they do a narrower version for my neck. Took back to Oxford store literally exchange (not refund) and blank refused even though still in packaging. Manager was horrible, no sense of sympathy for the £80 cost of such an item. Wouldn’t go back. Particularly disheartened by the managers attitude and approach.

The lady who dealt with my husband and myself was excellent. She spent a lot of time with us making sure that the bed and base and pillows we were ordering was right for us. Very pleased with her service

Good help in store. Purchase was easy and well explained. Delivery happened as expectations.

I can't praise Curtis highly enough. We only went into look and came out with a bed and all the trimmings. He sorted out a fabulous chap Sean from the Flatpack Company to sort all our old bedroom furniture and kept checking to make sure everything was going ok. You rarely get this sort of service these days. Both of these chaps have restored my faith in customer service

We went in to the Oxford store knowing what we wanted to order but want to speak about the products. The staff member was friendly efficient and knowledgable. We later visited the store to add an item to the order and we're met by a different staff member who was also friendly and efficient. The whole process was very easy and enjoyable.

Kurtis the store manager was really helpful in recommendations for quality beds and matresses. This is the third bed we have bought from Botley Road Oxford Store due to the fantastic customer service.

We waited until the post-Christmas rush was over before visiting the Oxford store to buy a new mattress. This turned out to be a good move as it was quiet and we had the undivided attention of Kurtis who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. We had a reasonable idea of what we were looking for, but his patience and expertise allowed us to choose what we hope will be the perfect choice (of course the mattress hasn't yet arrived).
Having previously visited a competitor's store with an assistant who quickly lost interest in us when we did not share his enthusiasm for the mattresses he thought we should go for, our experience at Benson's was all the more refreshing. Many thanks to Kurtis!

Friendly staff who know about what they have for sale that satisfies your wants and needs if you only have an outline plan.

It made a change to be served by a member of staff with good customer service skills. A very helpful young lady who truly new what she was talking about. Also very helpful in meeting our requirements. We will definitely revisit.

We were interested in a wardrobe but were not sure on the dimensions, so the customer advisor suggested we put a deposit down (as there was a sale on at the time) to measure the bedroom dimensions and if not appropriate, to call up within 7 days to cancel the order.
Unfortunately, the wardrobe did not fit and so we cancelled. They provided a full refund.
The advisor was knowledgeable, nice and accommodating.

The 4 stars is because when I rang to cancel the wardrobe, the guy on the phone told me the order had already been sent to Germany to be processed. I said I wasn't aware that was going to happen, I was under the impression it was on hold until we confirmed the order. Anyway, it got sorted and they issued the refund.

We had decided to buy a new bed and had researched the options on line with our normal go to suppliers. We happened to be shopping next door and wandered in.
Kurtis greeted us and asked if we needed assistance. I explained our situation and he offered clear and appropriate options, pointing out the benefits of each.
We were so impressed that we bought a bed and mattress, paying much more than we intended but delighted that we had a great value purchase.
Kurtis was interested in us and very helpful. We would certainly recommend Bensons for this alone. We now await our bed.

Bensons have just about the best range of bed/mattress options. The range is overwhelming but Cristelle in the Oxford store was super helpful in a low-key, informative and unpressurised way. I had already decided on the base I wanted but Cristelle helped me to choose an appropriate mattress and their 40 day exchange option gave me the confidence to place an order. A pleasant experience, thank-you!
