From first stepping into the store to the delivery of my mattress, all the staff and delivery people have been so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The delivery staff were professional and respectful.

Adam, the Manager of the Stockport Peel centre shop, and Teagan were amazing when I visited the store last week. Teagan helped me sort out which mattress I wanted and was incredibly helpful and Adam went above and beyond to sort out a customer service issue I had with my last mattress. They were both honest and upfront and I haven't received customer service like that for a long time. Thank you Adam and Teagan, you restored my faith in these big companies! I waited until today to write this in case something went wrong as it all seemed a bit too good to be true, but nope, new mattress arrived yesterday with great communication and service and the old one removed. Exactly as promised by Adam. Thanks guys

From the moment I walked into the store we were greeted by Mo who took time to listen to our needs and catered to them. We were very indecisive between 2 wardrobes in which he gave very detailed analogies and showed us what it would be like on the ipad for us to properly visualise all the added compartments like extra shelves etc. We felt totally reassured considering this was our first time making a purchase at bensons when sat down with Mo and clearly guided us through what the next steps would be. After leaving the shop, communication services were excellent as well, there were no hassle and the messages were direct and clear. On the day of the arrival both builders worked exceptional and completed a brilliant job setting up the wardrobe in such a short of amount of time which we were blown away by! They cleaned up after the mess and made sure we were happy with the final result and we definitely were. Can’t recommend this service enough it was great.

We went into our local Bensons for beds not really knowing what was available, the member of staff that served us was very knowledgeable and polite, he explained in detail the different types of beds and mattresses which was very helpful and we made our decision based on this.

The delivery man damaged our front door. Pathetic service.

From visiting the store, with friendly but not pushy advice, the service was faultless. I had notifications of the progress , a 2 hour delivery slot and then updates on the day so I knew exactly when it would arrive. The two men who brought it - I am really sorry I lost the card with your names - were polite, offered to remove shoes and took care of surroundings when taking the mattress upstairs. I would recommend to anyone without hesitation.

My partner and I went to Bensons for Beds in Stockport looking for a new mattress for our first home and were served by a lovely and very helpful young man. He patiently explained and showed us the different types of mattresses to make sure we were 100% happy that the one we bought was right for us (whilst also being considerate of our budget). We were so happy and confident in the service provided that we also ended up buying a wardrobe and ottoman bed as well. The whole process was smooth and stress-free, and our Bensons delivery was in good time. We would definitely recommend this store! 😊

This rating is for Bensons’ delivery service and communication, not the transport team, who were absolutely 5-star.

Our experience was awful from start to finish. We had arranged delivery for Wednesday between 7am and 9am and even received a confirmation call the evening before. However, at 8am on the day of delivery, we received a phone call informing us that our bed would not be delivered because it had not been loaded onto the van. We were then asked if that was okay, despite the fact that we had already booked a day off work specifically for the delivery.

We were subsequently told that the bed would be the first delivery the following day. Once again, after spending the morning chasing updates and taking another day off work, the bed still did not arrive.

The only reason this situation was eventually resolved was thanks to the transport team. Geoff was incredibly helpful and arranged an emergency delivery, getting the bed to us within two hours. James and Jayden, who delivered and assembled the bed, were fantastic—friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. They put the bed together without any issues and were a credit to the company.

The transport team deserves 5 stars for their efforts in rescuing what had become a very frustrating situation. Unfortunately, the overall experience with Bensons’ delivery scheduling, communication, and organisation was extremely poor, resulting in two wasted days off work and a great deal of unnecessary stress. Without the intervention of Geoff, James, and Jayden, we would likely have been waiting over a week for delivery and left without a bed to sleep on.

On the hottest day …30 degrees plus. Andy and Sean arrived on time at midday. They unloaded the extremely heavy matress and carried it some distance to a first floor flat. They unpacked and installed it without any problem and were extremely pleasant. I cannot thank them enough.
