Mattress did not arrive
Van arrived 10 stops n 9 mattresses
We had to then wait weeks for another
Very disappointed and will not be buying from Bensons again

We brought an ex display item ( bed frame) recently. The staff did offer to pack it properly on dismantling when we visited initially. But they didn’t keep the promise and left it as it is which made us very worried and stressed.

For buying something we don’t buy often it was eye opener on what has changed in buying a bed.
The staff did well in exploring the new technology and making us understand

Delivery of our mattresses arrived safely driven by Malc and Carl. Old mattress taken and new one installed with care.

Excellent experience at the Waterlooville, Hampshire branch. Charles was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient with us, as we had visited the store a couple of times due to us being unsure on the style of bed frame that we wanted.

Looking forward to the delivery of the bed and mattress which is in a couple of weeks.

Good sound solid advice from salesman Andy when I enquired about FIRM mattresses. I wanted to know the best one and be shown options that were available to me in the showroom. There was a wonderful choice and I tried many of them. I did go ahead and purchase a recommended mattress that was suitable for back etc.

The customer service from David and his boss was excellent, they were very helpful and answered all of our questions.

Charles in the Waterlooville store was great. Hugely knowledgeable and spent time to ensure we got what we needed. Highly recommend

From walking into the showroom, to final delivery, we have been so impressed with Bensons. Our sales person, Charles, was very informative and helpful and explained everything we needed to know about our mattress, frame and delivery options. We received frequent and up-to-date texts and emails so we never had to wonder where our order was. The delivery men were happy, friendly and very quick. We absolutely love our new bed too! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you so much!

My partner and I were looking at making a large purchase on one item. It was currently a bed frame on sale which was coming to an end in a matter of days, we made it clear in our quote requests that we would be choosing the 0% interest pay back over 36 months scheme. I received multiple quotes printed out and together with the sales woman we worked out which was most suitable for us which heavily was based on our monthly payments too. We left with our quotes and I received a phone call a couple of days later where I was informed the sale ended today. I was told she could offer a little more discount, I had expressed some concerns over negative feedback on the product which was explained to me and put my mind at ease. I explained I’d be happy to phone back and pay the deposit once I’d spoken to my partner. Later that evening I phoned to pay the deposit and I explained I’d like to come in to store to arrange the credit side of things, my order was placed and the payment was made. When I came in to store a few days later I was then told I was no longer eligible for the 36 monthly plan to pay back.. that I could only do 30 months maximum. As expected I was a little taken back, surprised that this news was suddenly spring on me and told it’s because I was now beneath the spend amount required to be eligible for 36 months pay back.. in effect, me accepting the further 5% discount now meant I had to cram in over £300 across the payment plan I was eligible for. I didn’t have an option, I was put on the spot and feel ill informed at the time of my deposit payment a few days prior as it was clear I always was going to choose the 36 monthly pay back plan. I am able to make this work however I feel for other customers who may fall in to this same scenario as some really may not be able to cough up the additional £11 per month on top of what already feels like a large amount to pay. The customers come to terms to pay X amount, find a way to make this work and then are dropped and expected to add another X amount on top - with no way out because the deposits been paid. I do feel let down in this happening but there’s nothing that can be done about it. In hindsight I would have declined the extra 5% discount and would rather have the extra 6 months pay back but here we are!

Good choice of items, comparative prices with others but made better by with the odd bargain thrown in. Miss the old days of negotiating bargains with the staff but I guess that is the modern way.
