I had a great experience at Bensons For Beds! Niall from Birmingham store in Wednesbury was a great help and he kindly guided us towards the perfect mattress we’ve been looking for forever! It’s taking a bit of time for it to arrive, but surely it’s worth the while! (Roughly 12 days)

Rude Delivery Driver
The delivery team arrived to deliver our super king mattress and it fitted through the door and up the stairs into our bedroom.
Then, the delivery drive rudely stated that we shouldn’t have ordered a super king mattress and next time to not order a bigger one. There isn’t a larger size than a super king, so I don’t know what he was referring to there. Maybe he was having a bad day?
His colleague then stated not to listen to him, as we are the customers and it’s up to us what we order which is spot on.
Maybe the delivery driver needs to attend a course on how to treat customers with respect or Benson’s will unfortunately lose business from other buyers.

From start to finish - PERFECT!
From start to finish, the whole experience was truly 5-star. The sales assistant at the Wednesbury store, ABU, was absolutely fantastic. He struck the perfect balance — friendly and informative without being pushy — and gave us exactly the details we needed, which made us feel confident enough to buy there and then.
We chose a beautiful Simba mattress, and ABU clearly explained the delivery timeframe and all our options. When delivery day came, the communication was excellent — I received regular updates and even a courtesy call from the driver with an exact arrival time.
The mattress arrived well-packaged, with clear care instructions provided. We couldn’t be happier. We’ll soon be shopping for a new bed, and thanks to this experience, I already know exactly where I’ll be going. 😀

New mattress
Went to buy new mattress at Wednesbury store, wasn’t quite sure what sort to have and didn’t understand the different types of mattress, Rob was great explained it to us so we understood and helped us pick the right mattress, really helpful and polite and not pushy. Would definitely go back here again.

Really helpful in the store, friendly and knowledgeable. Van crew who delivered the bed very polite and helpful as we were going to have to put the bed together ourselves as the room wasn't quite ready.

Great experience
Was left to look around and try mattresses and talk about beds alone. Then once we had made our way around the store we were approached to offer assistance. Assistant was knowledgeable, took us to testing bed which helped to slim down the choices. This was our first experience of choosing a bed together as we had always been given beds previously. Made the whole experience a less daunting affair.

Bed and wardrobe search
I went down to Bensons in Wednesbury in search of a bed and wardrobe to go in my new room. I had quite a list of what I needed from the items, one being that it had to be cat scratch proof, (I have 3 cats). Meshaq was there to help from the moment I entered. He was so attentive and understanding. He really cared about me getting the best experience. I didn’t feel rushed or pressured when making decisions. He also offered advice and little tips that just made the stressful choice of choosing furniture that much easier. Overall I am so pleased with my shopping experience and am very excited to receive the items :)

Spent £3K on a bed. Delivered a faulty bed.
1. The bed was delivered weeks later than promised as they didn’t have the bed base and TV in stock.
2. After a delayed delivery , they have delivered a faulty bed m. Since delivery it’s the 3rd day and I am still going back and forth with customer service to resolve the faulty bed. Has an issues with syncing the remote.

The delivery service failed to meet the promised room delivery as stated. Instead, the mattresses were left in the downstairs lobby, and the delivery team left without further assistance. When I raised the issue with customer service, I was told we would have to carry the heavy mattresses up three floors ourselves. This is completely unacceptable for a paid delivery service

The two gentleman that delivered were very respectful of the property, especially as it had just been freshly painted. They took very good care and did not mark the walls at all. They even removed their shoes when placing the boxes in various rooms.
