We have used Beresfords at Brixton and Camberwell for a number of years to source tenants for our properties and they have never let us down. Not only do they find the best tenants but achieve the best rents too. We have never had a missed payment or suffered damage of any kind and our properties are never left vacant. We will continue to use them and would recommend them without reservation.

Beresford have managed our property in Brixton for almost 2 years and we've been very happy with the service as an overseas landlord. Our main contact Magda has been very efficient at handling maintenance issues. Some of the communication could be better streamlined when other staff are involved but otherwise we're very happy customers.

The handling of our tenancy renewal was poor, especially given the extortionate fee they charge for "administration" (essentially re-issuing the same contract). We had to chase Beresford constantly, at one point waiting 24 days with no news. This took us into the one month notice period we are legally entitled to as tenants. They did no negotiating with the landlord, and ignored the questions we had raised, leaving us to negotiate ourselves. With ten days to go until the end of our tenancy, they issued the new contract, with no update from the landlord, leaving us with little option but to re-sign as we had no time to look elsewhere. They don't seem to care about customer service - just getting as much money out of people as possible. Disappointing.

After a bumpy start with the management service provided by Beresford Residential, we got Matt Blomeley assigned as our property manager and the level of service he provided was 5 stars. We didn’t hesitate about renewing our contract with them this year. We now have a different property manager and even though we’ve had a couple of issues, these were looked into and sorted straight away.

I’m with beresford for 5years. After a terrible experience with another estate agency they managed my flat as their own. Even when problems came out, they promptly informed me and explained all my options to quickly find the best solution. So far the best estate agency in London

I contacted Beresford for a valuation on my London property. My call was answered by Pete Ranki who obtained a few details from me and quickly arranged a mutually convenient appointment for him to meet me at the house. On the day he arrived on time and after a quick but thorough inspection of the house, he gave me clear, candid and professional assessment not only of the value but also the current market conditions. He also provided me with a comprehensive portfolio of Beresford’s services and of other properties for sale in the area. Following subsequent discussion with my wife we decided not to proceed with the sale at this time, but at such time as we do decide to sell I would have no hesitation in calling upon Pete’s professional services.

I lived in a house managed by residential for 2 years and can say that this is a trusted company. My property manager (Matt) was a great help in aiding with any problems that occurred in the flat throughout our stay. There were a few issues that took longer than expected to fix, however this was no fault of our property manager. Would recommend Beresford Residential.
