I was told my price was for a standby ticket! That stinks!
I saw a great price, but when I called to verify the price it was for a standby ticket only. I glad I did not purchase and called them. I could not find it on there website where it said that the tickets they're selling are for standby. Buyer be aware.

Best Ticket Fare - SCAMMERS!!
I had originally submitted a review and stated that Ben Johnson was good to work with, which he was (meaning he was pleasant.) Now that I have done my research further, this company is a total SCAM! Ben Johnson had to know that he was scamming me!!!! After I booked with them on Kayak.com they called me and told me about all the restrictions with the ticket I had purchased. They told me that I could only take a bag on Southwest that weighed 5 lbs. and that I could not go through Southwest at the airport to get luggage checked in. They said because it was a special promotion (33% discount) that I would have to pay for luggage. They first came up with $129 both ways = an additional $258 added to my already purchased ticket. I argued with them for quite awhile and finally them talked them down to $100. They would not allow me to cancel the transaction at all. Then, I called Southwest and, although they did indeed book my ticket, the $100 for luggage was a total scam since Southwest gives you 2 bags free to take on the plane. Also, after the fact I checked Southwest.com and could find the exact flight and times for $50.00 cheaper. So, it wasn't a special promotion after all. They are just plain SCAMMERS!!!! BEWARE! I thought by going through Kayak.com it was safe - apparently not!
Is BestTicketfare trustworthy?
Alert: BBB files indicate that this business has a pattern of complaints concerning sales practice issues; specifically, customers allege after purchasing an airline ticket through the website, they receive a phone call stating the "discounted" price does not include luggage.
This is EXACTLY what happened to me.
Note: This is not to be confused with bestairfare.com (best air fare) - my issue was with bestticketfare.com (best ticket fare)

This company is a scam. Jim C only responds to good reviews which I'm sure they are written by fellow scammers that work there. Stay away from this company. Luckily I jumped the shark by calling before entering my CC. The minute I spoke to the rep...I immediately knew this was a scam. He was full of crap.

Only rated 1 because 0 wasn't an option. This website quoted tickets at $370. They called me and lied about the restrictions on the ticket(they tried to tell me i couldnt bring any luggage at all and held my ticket ransom by saying they would cancel my flight and still charge me when i got angry), tried to con into paying $300 extra per ticket and then finally said they had a cheaper option for $100 each way. They ended charging my card for $306 for the actual ticket and charged me $351 to the company. Definitely a scam, avoid at all costs.

On February 22. I gave one star because there is no zero stars.
On February 22, 2024 my sister and I bought 2 tickets to go to Guadalajara, Mexico at a very reasonable price on Best Ticket Fair. 5 minutes later after buying the tickets a customer representative called us to inform us that because of the low price of the ticket we couldn't take any suitcases and we were going to be put on stand-by. We didn't read anything about luggage on the webpage. the representative offered us flights at a very high price $1,500.00. She was very rude, unprofessional and ending up hanging up on us. This company is a SCAM this is not a way to make a living. We are two seniors and ended up not going to Mexico.

Very Helpful Overall
Hello all,
I actually am very grateful for the help Lauren Messi(refund department) and Charlie Klinger(ticket agent) were able to provide me, and ultimately when the alternative flights were unable to fit my schedule they helped me cancel my ticket and gave me a full refund.
Looking at other reviews, it seems they have a common practice of offering booking for cheap flights online that are very restrictive, and then offering customers more expensive flights with all amenities included. Having to call them and wait in the phone for almost an hour was fairly exhausting.
If you’re cautious enough to read reviews before buying tickets, you should know better and buy directly from the airline or a trusted seller.
That said, I do feel like they tried their best to find me a good flight, and I appreciate their help. Thank you.

This site is a scam, they offer you a reasonable fair, you enter all of your information and you get an email that looks like you are conform but if you read the details it says someone calls you after it is confirmed. then you receive multiple calls from people in India and Pakistan telling you your reservation is not available and try to sell you tickets that are 25 to 30% more expensive.
I will stay away from these scammer.
I am not sure if anyone can legally do anything about this???

Not the best experience. I thought I had booked my flights successfully because I received an email “confirming” but that was followed by a call that the flights I “booked” were no longer available. Then came the new offer which was more expensive, and then yet another new offer because the second set of flights were also not available (again more expensive). Lots of frustration and arguing. I felt the initial flights were a con to enter into negotiations for the more expensive offers. Disappointed!

A Great Booking!
At first the experience was a little shaky with when I bought the tickets because I had a problem with my first reservation but when I got in touch with one of the Best Airfare agents, Ethan, he helped me figure out my flight information and gave me the best deal possible for my flight. He was very kind and patient which was very helpful in my stressful situation of finding flights, he made it completely stress free and found a compromise that worked best for me and I appreciated it. Great customer service, very attentive in information on fly, days, and time.
Only issue I had was that a much lower quote was obtained on line with a different airline. Website should be updated as soon as tickets are sold out.
