Tried to get a 5 team acca bet for 100 paid 482 on football.restricted to 82 despite being a losing player. Emailed them and asked to increase and they said they'd see what they can do. Couldn't call them no number

They give no free bets.if you email them and ask they say if they give me free bets then everyone would want them lol

AVOID LIVE BLACKJACK WITH OTHER PEOPLE. Try and play alone
The other players are usless and screw up the sequence of cards by not even playing basic strategy
They always hit when the dealer has a 5 and they have 14 and when they have 16 despite the dealer having a 10 they stand!!! More bothered about not busting

I wondered why a sportsbook wouldn't have a number to get them on but then reading the emails they sent me in poor English I understood why. They wouldn't be able to speak the language properly!!!
They're all non British and trying to explain things to them is very difficult

They also have a strange rule that you can't withdraw until 48 hours have passed from your deposit. I waited longer and still couldn't. Then they asked for verification what a surprise and they still haven't got back to me
They as a one time Goodwill gesture would process the withdrawal. Jeez thanks

tried placing a few bets earlier this week with stakes restricted to under £20 now had the email stating that I am no longer able to participate in any promotions or bonuses - absolute joke betting site don't bother with them.

Like many others, I signed up for a free bet by depositing £10. As soon as I had deposited my money my account was frozen, and they asked me to send copies of my driver's licence and bank statement. I sent them, and within minutes they replied to say my documents were not satisfactory. I sent a new copy 3 days ago and have still not been given access to my account. I have sent several emails but I just get an automated message saying their technical team will get back to me shortly. No telephone number to call them, dodge these guys. They took my money and ID and gave me nothing but a headache in return.

I see nobody from betstars has replied to any complaints on here I think that says it all

I tried to get a bet on. Pathetic limit so emailed them asking for increase. They got back to me 2 days after the event had finished in broken English

Don't bother with BetStars. If you win your first few bets they will restrict your stakes to zero and send you this email

"Following a review of your player account, we have determined that you will no longer be eligible to participate in or benefit from Promotional Offers from the date you receive this email. This is in line with the terms and conditions applicable to each promotional offer."

Plus the customer service is awful. The security checking process is terrible. They insist on you sending them personal information like copies of passports (but not until you've deposited money of course, at which point they freeze your account until you send your personal information). They also attempted to make me send a complete copy of my passport when I redacted information that they did not need in line with Home Office guidelines. After much arguing they had to accept that they were not entitled to ask for this information. Why would you want some offshore bookmaker to hold such personal information on you. Who knows what they will do with it and who will access it in the future. None of the big UK bookmakers ask for this stuff.

My advice is do not be tempted by any offers. Stick with the established big bookies.

'Betstars' locked my account until they receive identification. There is no live chat, so you have to contact them via Email. Good luck getting a reply. I did not know my account was locked until AFTER I deposited money. Awfully good of them to accept deposits into a locked account, leaving you unable to bet or withdraw your own money. The only reason I used betstars was because I used an oddschecking site and betstars had the best odds. Well, it seems like those odds were too good to be true. I partially blame myself, the betting site is of shabby design which should set off a red flag. Stick with a more reputable betting site. Do not trust BetStars with your money. I can only imagine what they do with the accounts of people that win anything. They will use verification laws to attempt to stop you ever getting your money out. BE WARNED.

I placed a couple of bets with them as they entice people in with some of the best odds. I found out that this comes at a large cost however.. such as not even being able to access my winnings. They completely ruined my evening of betting for the night. I deposited all the money I bet with from one perfectly legitimate valid bank card. When I came to withdraw the money plus winnings I found out about some bizarre 'withdrawal system' they have where they pay out money in percentages to sources of funds that you have used in the past?? Even after this I should still be able to withdraw it all, as I still had access to the other account but they split it up in a way that made the money remaining fall just below there £8 withdrawal/deposit limit! I therefore tried adding another £8 (the minimum I could) to take it back over the withdrawal limit...I couldn't withdraw any of that either! The amount of money remaining was not important. I still left feeling conned and I've made a note to never bet with them again no matter how good the odds they offer.

Absolutely useless customer service who never respond to emails. Unable to login to my account for several hours now and there is no other way to contact them. Zero stars, avoid and save yourself a lot of hassle.

Nothing but a scam! Waited a whole month for my winnings to go in to my bank & still waiting.. says it's my banks fault even though my bank having nothing in the transaction to say I have money coming in. A month before that they sent money in to my bank nothing wrong with it.. just a big joke of a site, stay away from them. Advice to go to a better one. They deserve to be shut down!

Worst betting company ever. Put money in to bet but couldn't place the bet I wanted to at the odds advertised. They capped how much I could bet to £21. They then changed the odds that a much lower odd and was then told told can't take my money back out. Ridiculous. Just use one of the other much better sites available not these lot.

If there was a zero star i would have scored it that. Like many people have said when i opened the account placed a couple of bets tried to withdraw and get the usual asking for copy of front/back of card , passport, ck size etc. Took a few days and finally allowed to withdrawl. Bet with them for about 6 months and although alot slower at settling bets than most bookmakers was ok. But i used another card which is in my name and same address and everything but then went to place a bet and account frozen and despite being over 72 hours and numerous emails i have had no contact from them. In this day and age and for such a small company compared to the big ones how can they take this long unless its one guy and his laptop at home. Also no customer service number to ring up, beware personally if you can get a bet on elsewhere then DO!!!!

Avoid this mob. There seems to be absolutely no way of contacting them if you have an issue. All they offer is some FAQs. Tried to place a bet. Message appeared '...this is above max allowed on this.....press max or type in lower amount' . So I hit max, a figure fills the bet window try to place bet. The same message message appears. BUNCH OF AMATEURS.
