Teacher is good but there are far too many kids in the class for the children to really learn - I’m not sure if we will continue long term unless this changes or more teachers join to help

Parked overnight at the leisure centre…
Parked overnight at the leisure centre with my van. From the moment I made my enquiry Ben, Josh and the team couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly. The facilities were available from 6am and due to holding a drive in cinema on the Sunday the toilets were still open past 10pm. Very easy straightforward walk into the centre took about 22 mins. Very pleased to have found this place, recommended.

The staff were brilliant, really helpful and friendly 👍. I had a health-wise session with Gareth who was really professional and put me at ease being my first time in a gym. As a result I have also booked swimming lessons, which i have wanted to do for years!

Great Experience
My experience so far has been fab!
Wayne has spent time with me guiding and advising me on what I need to do and how to do it, including breathing techniques! He has been great!
He has really motivated me to become a better version of myself.

The staff are really friendly and helpful. The centre I use is very clean and tidy and has a warm welcome to it. The gum instructors always have the best interest in everyone

Great swim academy lessons
My daughter has just started the swim academy at 4 years old in Maindy Leisure centre, Cardiff.
The instructors were great with her, and the pool is a great facility for learning to swim.

Good next step from Escape Pain…
Good next step on from the Escape Pain programme.
The staff at Maindy were helpful in enabling my membership application.
The app is relatively easy to use for making bookings, and also a sudden cancellation of an existing booking.
It's very early days for me but it seems like a good choice to be involved with so far.
A rolling monthly membership also provides a good introduction without a lengthy prohibitive fee.

The staff are amazing at Maindee in Cardiff, brilliant energy and fantastic with all the parents during the busy swimming lessons. They are always helpful and accommodating to me and in general have the right energy and attitude that is needed in a lesuire centre.

Expensive for an overcrowded gym and a warm shallow pool
This is my third membership. Now I have three accounts with the same email that cannot be accessed, no matter how many times I reset the password. Better Staff is not trained to fix these problems.
Prices are very high considering what is offered at Maindy, Cardiff - shame that they've locked me in with their very convenient location for me.
Prices for a one-off session are extortionate, forcing you to get a membership to save very little money. Don't get me started on the pool - it's very shallow and the temperature is similar to a sauna.

The Pool is quite cold (my kids were shivering after being there) but the staff and teachers are very nice and considering of my children needs. Specially my youngest who wanted me next to him during lessons.
I came back to Maindy (I used to bring my children before COVID), and I’m happy to be there again.
