Showers not working
I enjoy swimming at the pool but for weeks now a lot of the showers in the ladies changing rooms have not been working. This morning there was a queue of women waiting to shower. When will they be fixed?

Staff are very friendly. Have been going here for 20 years, but showers are old and don't work. Changing rooms dated. Gym is pretty good and not too busy during the day.would love to see it updated.

Mixed bag
The good: some of the tutors are fantastic - Sienna who does yoga is especially wonderful!! I also enjoy using the pool, it's a good facility.
The bad: there is massive miscommunication in this gym - when a tutor is off sick or on holiday the gym often haven't cancelled the class for the participants - a few times I've turned up to find that the tutor isn't there, and we all go to get our refund. Most recently, there was construction on the roof and they had scaffolding INSIDE the dance studio, and the gym management expected a class to carry on as normal during all the drilling and banging, amidst the scaffolding - they hadn't bothered to inform the teacher or the participants.
I'm staying because of the classes I enjoy, and the pool, but this gym is poorly managed and I think they should treat their tutors better!

The women only gym is very small No Resistance exercise machinery
The women only gym is very small. No resistance exercise equipment available. Only one treadmill, one elliptical and 2 bikes. The other side has 4 training mats and some weights. When I book it is always fully available but on arrival I found no place on mats. I went three times only and all I did was aerobics.

Pleasant experience
Good environment for working out. There is enough variety of quality equipment for a good session. You have to pick your times as it can get very busy. As a new member I do not feel intimidated.
