Joined the leisure centre last month
Joined the leisure centre last month, going the the gym 3 times a week, great equipment and choice to use, the wife has been using the swimming pool, fantastic staff available for advice, lots of leisure and sports activities to do plus fitness classes, nice changing rooms with showers and a cafe available for refreshments if you want to watch.

Staff helpful when unable to register on line. Easy to book at required times.
I do find around the pool rather slippery to walk on so use flip flops.

Have always paid for parking per visit and only now found out a permit is available. Toilets are cleaner now and reception are helpful.

Can't beat it
Fantastic value for money.
As a 70 year old I need to maintain my fitness. The options available to me locally are hotel based centres or Better.
The staff at my local Better in St Austell are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.
The facilities are very good. Excellent pool with easy to book swimming sessions. The gym has a great variety of equipment in full working order.
I am very happy to be a member at Better as it gives me everything I need from a leisure centre at half the price of the competition.
Highly recommended

Lovely leisure centre
I'm so glad I joined Better at St Austell, it is a lovely well run leisure centre offering a wide variety of classes. The swimming pool is suburb. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are very clean. It is easy to book a swim session or a class on the Better App, I wish I'd joined earlier.

Amazing and caring staff, really went the extra mile to ensure the boys were properly assessed and placed in the right class. Both my boys have additional needs and the staff were so accommodating and understanding. Blown away by the professionalism and care.
