Superb leisure centre with excellent staff
I am member of this facility since October 2023. The facility offers several classes for your pace, ability and mood. The instructors are professional and friendly!
Amongst other classes that I attend, my favourite one is the zumba class conducted by Volkan and might I say, he makes the class so much fun! His selection of songs are fantastic and has a good mix with different tempos to fit the warm up and cool down routine. We step out of the class all energetic and refreshed! :)
Thanks Better.org for such a wonderful facility! And thanks Volkan for making the workouts interesting.

I've been coming to Zumba for a year. The instructor, Volkan, is superb. He is energetic, engaging, hilarious and ensures that the class is always fantastic fun. It's the most inclusive exercise class I have ever been too. I feel uplifted after every class, I love it and it keeps me really fit too.

Slightly small, but exceptionally clean, and an ideal level of chlorine - I am able to keep my eyes open. Lovely heated flooring when the temperature drops.
Sauna / Steam - 4 star
Slightly small, and on occasion a little cool, but very well managed. Only to stop foolish users wearing oils / exfoliating IN them, spoiling it for the rest of us.
Yoga - 5 star
David is fantastic. I have not attended other classes, or used the gym.

Lessons are not great!
There was one trainer who came in 5 mins late for the lesson and we were 20 people of different level of abilities.
Apparently there are 2 trainers to support but the other trainer hasn't been there for 2 weeks. I felt I didn't take much from that lesson and didn't feel supported

Staff are lovely and the atmosphere is great
Vauxhall Leisure Centre staff in general are really helpful and friendly. From the reception to the swimming instructors, they are lovely .I'd like to mention Kevin & Rodrigo that are teaching me how to swim . They are knowledgeable and kind which makes my learning journey enjoyable . I was dreading the experience but they made me feel comfortable and excited to learn. The pools are always very clean and so the changing rooms . I truly recommend this facility because of its atmosphere, location and you'll feel welcome .

Have to be honest
Have to be honest, not a great start to my experience. Been a member just over a week, the pool has been closed due to a fault and no hot water in the showers! On top of this the sauna/steam room facilities seem to be out of use quite a lot due to lessons/activities meaning no access during these times.

Great gym, on par with Nuffield but reasonably priced. Found out after sub they're a charitable social enterprise, all the better. Worth trying.

Could be better managed and maintained .
Considering it’s a new building, a lot of things are already damaged, not very clean or not very well maintained. It seems to take a long time for repairs to be carried out when things are broken.
The swimming pool feels not very clean and there is staining around the waterline. Although they are signs that people should shower before they enter the pool, sauna or room a lot of people don’t and it doesn’t get highlighted either.
The changing cubicles and floors don’t seem to get cleaned regularly and there are lots of soap and salt stains on the floor and water tiles.
The shower cubicles because have mould stains and stained walls and floors and silicon peeling away.
The swimming classes on Monday and Wednesday peak times mean that the pool, steam and sauna opens at 7pm which is not great if you have a full-time membership and you finish work between 5/6 pm because you can’t use the pool.
Priority is giving to swimming classes which train for five people or children rather than 15-20 regular swimmers waiting outside to use the pool.
The classes and the teachers are great, and most of the staff is friendly and helpful.
