5 stars for Big Motoring World
Initially I visited the Big Motoring World website and was very impressed with the look and feel and layout. I was able to get to where I needed and the website was to the point. It was this very website where I found the car I was looking for. When attending the Camberley branch, I was assisted by Lorraine who was very helpful and professional. Her skills are top class and she made us all feel welcome. When I took the car for a test drive, I was a bit nervous but having Lorraine around eased the tension. She is really good and it’s 5 stars all the way. I absolutely love the car and would certainly buy from the Camberley branch again or recommend the place to others. The place is clean, professional and has a good atmosphere about it. Labeeb was very professional in his approach and ensured I understood everything during the hand over process. He ensured I had a printed copy of everything I needed which was great. 5 stars again. Thank you once again and I am sure we will meet again sometime.

If I could rate 0 stars
If I could rate 0 stars, I would.
Absolutely shocking customer service.
We arrived at 10:00am for a pre-booked appointment to test drive a specific car. Despite having an appointment, we were left waiting for over 30 minutes before being allocated a salesperson. Once we were finally seen, instead of showing us the car we'd come to view, he spent a considerable amount of time trying to steer us towards other vehicles we had already made clear we weren't interested in.
Throughout the appointment, the salesperson openly told us he only earns £10 commission per car and that he didn't care whether we bought one or not. He also explained that he didn’t really wish to work at the dealership but it was convenient as it was so close to his home. It was an incredibly unprofessional attitude and hardly inspired confidence.
The entire sales process felt heavily scripted, with persistent attempts to sell expensive insurance and add-on products despite us repeatedly stating we weren't interested.
When we eventually settled on the vehicle we had originally come to see, we then discovered it only came with one key and didn't have a V5 available. We attempted to negotiate based on these shortcomings, but a manager was brought over simply to repeat that there was no flexibility on price. His attitude was dismissive and unnecessarily rude.
The situation then became even more bizarre when another member of staff approached us and demanded an apology, falsely accusing us of calling his colleague names during what had been a private conversation.
This allegation was completely untrue.
From that point onwards, the level of customer service deteriorated even further. We were treated with complete disrespect, spoken down to, and made to feel thoroughly unwelcome until we left.
This was genuinely one of the worst experiences we've ever had at a car dealership. We left feeling shocked at how poorly we had been treated and wondering if this was because we were female as male customers appeared to have a totally different experience. There are plenty of dealerships that value their customers' time and treat them with basic courtesy—I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.
Poor service and shocking service from the warranty
Whilst I understand you have so many different cars. The salesman, just told us a general speck rather than specific information about this car, he didn’t seem to have any even general knowledge of the vehicle. The test drive was poor, no features were shown, or anything said about the vehicle, we drove up the road, round a round about and back. We noticed scratches on the bonnet and were told to by the aftercare package (which we declined) and just pretend it happened at a later date. Although minor most garages would rectify this as standard. We were encouraged to purchase added extras, which we decided on a 1 year warranty with big motoring world. The eco stop hasn’t worked in the car since having it (had we had a proper test drive this may have been picked up) I have reported this as an issue, 6 weeks later I have chased this twice and have heard nothing, this is absolutely shocking service especially as this is a product I paid for as an extra cost. I have redo 2 emails saying I will be contacted within 24 hours and no one ever contacts me. At this point I wouldn’t recommend big motoring world at all.

Test drive was no good
Reserved a car, went to drive but the test drive is approx 2 minutes down a straight dual carriageway, round a roundabout and back, not sufficient to get a feel for a car at £16k, I didn't take the drive. Asked for a slightly different drive maybe 5 minutes which was declined, we left very disappointed

The staff were very helpful
The staff were very helpful, unexplained everything to me in a way that I understood being dyslexic. They help me feel the paperwork in as well. Which I found very, very much appreciated they couldn't do enough for me.

Put simply ask for John
If you read a lot of the reviews one name sticks out John luckily I met this fine gentleman 8pm at night he showed me the car and was very straightforward I said I wasn't interested in any of the warrants and add ons it wasn't mentioned again If you phone up head office and get an appointment but want your car valued make sure you aim for around 6pm as they mostly go home @7 went back in the next day earlier and sat down at 6 by 8pm I had bought the car John was incredible start to finish couldn't fault him always honest and upfront knew his cars had a lot of knowledge if you go there one thing I will say is ask for John

Good deal after initial confusion about…
We had some initial confusion about warranty costs. The Sales Manager (Andrew?) resolved this and we were very happy with the deal we received.
We then received excellent service from Emily in the Handover team.

From start to finish
From start to finish, the whole process was brilliant.
John was so helpful and really easy to talk to.
I part exchanged my car and went away with a new one the same day.
Only slight downside was the amount of time it took, which was 5hrs but we were offered refreshments throughout and the team were very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Bought a white Dacia Sandero 2019 from…
*****DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE*****
*****VEHICLE REJECTED AFTER 12 HOURS
Bought a white Dacia Sandero 2019 from Big Motoring World’s Camberley branch on 19th June. Drove back to my home in Telford that same day. The check engine light showed the following morning and was diagnosed as a faulty Catalytic Converter, which was present at the time of sale. After much faff with their customer service line, customer service email and warranty company, (which surprisingly doesn’t cover the fault), the vehicle was rejected under the 2015 Consumer Rights Act. NO OFFER TO REPAIR THE FAULT WAS MADE BY THIS COMPANY WHICH I WOULD HAVE ACCEPTED GRATIOUSLY, instead they’re more than happy for the customer to take the financial loss and other intangible losses associated with rejecting a car. Based on other reviews on Trustpilot, I’m more than convinced this seems to be part of their business model. I will never use this company again and will advise anyone that asks, to do the same. Whilst the whole business of buying a used car is about the buyer being aware, there comes a point where these large organisations have legal and moral responsibility to put right what is wrong. In this case, BIG MOTORING WORLD chose to do nothing. Having the choice to legally reject the vehicle would result in waiting for the current finance agreement to be cancelled and the deposit to be returned. I could not wait for this as the vehicle is needed for work so the aforementioned rejection was reversed. It’s much cheaper for me to pay for the repair out of my own funds than take the financial hit of paying for taxis for work for an unspecified time and for the hassle of finding and purchasing a replacement car. Seriously ladies and gents, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR NEXT VEHICLE. Stick with a local garage or a well known online car sales company. They all seem to have much better reviews on Trustpilot!
*Updated*
After agreeing with them to fix the car, three weeks later, I still have not had the vehicle repaired despite promises from BigMotoring World to “support” me during the repair process. Vehicle has now been rejected.
Additionally, Inhave been without a vehicle since 19 June and no offer of a courtesy vehicle was made so this company are happy to take your money and leave you high and dry.
In short, despite been given extra time to fix the problem, they have chosen to just ignore and carry on regardless

I have picked my car up today and…
I have picked my car up today and really pleased with it so far. All the staff who dealt with my purchase and part exchange were helpful and professional.
However it was not until I was nearly home that I realised that all the documents were still on the desk and also that the second key was still in his pocket as he had used it to unlock the petrol cap as there was not enough petrol in the car to get me home. It was up to the staff member to ensure that the documents were put into my hand and not just left behind when we went out to the car. I now have to go back and collect these tomorrow and it took ages to get through on the phone. If it was not for this I would have rated the service 5 stars.

Would rather buy a car from Arthur Daley
Dire experience! Contacted the main number to make an appointment at the Camberley Branch Monday 22 June at 2.45pm. Arrived 15 mins early and was sat down at a desk. Not very busy so was expecting to see someone fairly quickly…kept waiting until 3.10pm!!
Sales person (Sam) was scruffy looking with his shirt hanging out at the back and dirty/scruffy shoes (not great start). No apology for being kept waiting. Was introduced to a colleague who was in training. Asked if I was looking to take car away today and when I said no was asked “why not?” in a tone and manner that felt like I committed a cardinal sin for even entering the premises and even wanting to purchase a car.
Explained I was interested in a specific car I had seen online, to be told that the keys had been out since the 19 Jun (past week) but they had plenty of other cars of the same make and model. When I explained I had been told on the phone it was being test driven by another customer, I asked to double check. He then proceeded to check his iPad and said he would go up and check on the first floor.
After 5-10 mins he came back and said it wasn’t there, and I should have reserved it online before coming in! He then again proceeded to tell me they had other cars in the same make and model and they would find me something.
I said I was specifically interested in the car I had seen online due to the age/mileage and this was the specific car I was interested in. He then went to check again and after 5 mins came back and said no other sales person had the car and the keys had been out since the 19 June so didn’t know where the car was and yet again proceeded to say they had plenty of other cars. I stopped him and said “no thanks” and left.
About 15 mins later I had a phone call saying the car had been found and needed a jump start. I was also advised I should reserve the car online and make an appointment to come back the following day…needless to say I didn’t call back and I don’t intend to reserve the car online!
The fact the salesperson had no idea where there stock was located, made no attempt to find out where the car was, and told me it was my fault for not reserving online made me just want to get out of there as quickly as possible. The whole sales encounter was just appalling and I feel sorry for his colleague who was shadowing him as his sales pitch is as dire as the whole experience.
As for a 2025 Hyundai Tuscon needing a jump start makes me wonder what is wrong with the car!
I would NEVER return to one of these places…absolutely shocking service.
