If you read a lot of the reviews one name sticks out John luckily I met this fine gentleman 8pm at night he showed me the car and was very straightforward I said I wasn't interested in any of the warrants and add ons it wasn't mentioned again If you phone up head office and get an appointment but want your car valued make sure you aim for around 6pm as they mostly go home @7 went back in the next day earlier and sat down at 6 by 8pm I had bought the car John was incredible start to finish couldn't fault him always honest and upfront knew his cars had a lot of knowledge if you go there one thing I will say is ask for John

We had some initial confusion about warranty costs. The Sales Manager (Andrew?) resolved this and we were very happy with the deal we received.
We then received excellent service from Emily in the Handover team.

From start to finish, the whole process was brilliant.
John was so helpful and really easy to talk to.
I part exchanged my car and went away with a new one the same day.
Only slight downside was the amount of time it took, which was 5hrs but we were offered refreshments throughout and the team were very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.

*****DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE*****
*****VEHICLE REJECTED AFTER 12 HOURS
Bought a white Dacia Sandero 2019 from Big Motoring World’s Camberley branch on 19th June. Drove back to my home in Telford that same day. The check engine light showed the following morning and was diagnosed as a faulty Catalytic Converter, which was present at the time of sale. After much faff with their customer service line, customer service email and warranty company, (which surprisingly doesn’t cover the fault), the vehicle was rejected under the 2015 Consumer Rights Act. NO OFFER TO REPAIR THE FAULT WAS MADE BY THIS COMPANY WHICH I WOULD HAVE ACCEPTED GRATIOUSLY, instead they’re more than happy for the customer to take the financial loss and other intangible losses associated with rejecting a car. Based on other reviews on Trustpilot, I’m more than convinced this seems to be part of their business model. I will never use this company again and will advise anyone that asks, to do the same. Whilst the whole business of buying a used car is about the buyer being aware, there comes a point where these large organisations have legal and moral responsibility to put right what is wrong. In this case, BIG MOTORING WORLD chose to do nothing. Having the choice to legally reject the vehicle would result in waiting for the current finance agreement to be cancelled and the deposit to be returned. I could not wait for this as the vehicle is needed for work so the aforementioned rejection was reversed. It’s much cheaper for me to pay for the repair out of my own funds than take the financial hit of paying for taxis for work for an unspecified time and for the hassle of finding and purchasing a replacement car. Seriously ladies and gents, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR NEXT VEHICLE. Stick with a local garage or a well known online car sales company. They all seem to have much better reviews on Trustpilot!
*Updated*
After agreeing with them to fix the car, three weeks later, I still have not had the vehicle repaired despite promises from BigMotoring World to “support” me during the repair process. Vehicle has now been rejected.
Additionally, Inhave been without a vehicle since 19 June and no offer of a courtesy vehicle was made so this company are happy to take your money and leave you high and dry.
In short, despite been given extra time to fix the problem, they have chosen to just ignore and carry on regardless

The sales man was very miserable and very pushy on after market sales having being told I'm not interested at all

I have picked my car up today and really pleased with it so far. All the staff who dealt with my purchase and part exchange were helpful and professional.
However it was not until I was nearly home that I realised that all the documents were still on the desk and also that the second key was still in his pocket as he had used it to unlock the petrol cap as there was not enough petrol in the car to get me home. It was up to the staff member to ensure that the documents were put into my hand and not just left behind when we went out to the car. I now have to go back and collect these tomorrow and it took ages to get through on the phone. If it was not for this I would have rated the service 5 stars.

Dire experience! Contacted the main number to make an appointment at the Camberley Branch Monday 22 June at 2.45pm. Arrived 15 mins early and was sat down at a desk. Not very busy so was expecting to see someone fairly quickly…kept waiting until 3.10pm!!
Sales person (Sam) was scruffy looking with his shirt hanging out at the back and dirty/scruffy shoes (not great start). No apology for being kept waiting. Was introduced to a colleague who was in training. Asked if I was looking to take car away today and when I said no was asked “why not?” in a tone and manner that felt like I committed a cardinal sin for even entering the premises and even wanting to purchase a car.
Explained I was interested in a specific car I had seen online, to be told that the keys had been out since the 19 Jun (past week) but they had plenty of other cars of the same make and model. When I explained I had been told on the phone it was being test driven by another customer, I asked to double check. He then proceeded to check his iPad and said he would go up and check on the first floor.
After 5-10 mins he came back and said it wasn’t there, and I should have reserved it online before coming in! He then again proceeded to tell me they had other cars in the same make and model and they would find me something.
I said I was specifically interested in the car I had seen online due to the age/mileage and this was the specific car I was interested in. He then went to check again and after 5 mins came back and said no other sales person had the car and the keys had been out since the 19 June so didn’t know where the car was and yet again proceeded to say they had plenty of other cars. I stopped him and said “no thanks” and left.
About 15 mins later I had a phone call saying the car had been found and needed a jump start. I was also advised I should reserve the car online and make an appointment to come back the following day…needless to say I didn’t call back and I don’t intend to reserve the car online!
The fact the salesperson had no idea where there stock was located, made no attempt to find out where the car was, and told me it was my fault for not reserving online made me just want to get out of there as quickly as possible. The whole sales encounter was just appalling and I feel sorry for his colleague who was shadowing him as his sales pitch is as dire as the whole experience.
As for a 2025 Hyundai Tuscon needing a jump start makes me wonder what is wrong with the car!
I would NEVER return to one of these places…absolutely shocking service.

I was given a friendly greeting when I arrived and seated at a table. I was offered coffee. The premises are very impressive - very large, airy and airy conditioned. I did wait for 15 minutes for the agent but I was quite content. I went for a test drive and the agent was very friendly, instructive and helpful. Sadly, the car didn't suit me.

We are pleased with the vehicle itself, but unfortunately the buying and collection experience fell well below expectations.
This country company provide an "all in one day" - test drive, pay, part exchange (if applicable) and drive home your new car on the same day. However, thisday was particularly difficult. We had our 2-year-old child with us and what should have been a straightforward handover took approximately 4.5 hours from start to finish. Had we been told in advance that the process would take this long, we would happily have paid a deposit and returned another day. This would have allowed the dealership more time to prepare the vehicle properly and would have avoided a significant amount of inconvenience.
While the showroom was clearly busy, the waiting times and lack of communication were frustrating. We were not the only customers expressing concerns about the delays on the day.
We also felt under pressure regarding the finance arrangements. Because the dealership did not accept MasterCard payments, we required a short amount of time to release funds. Rather than being offered a realistic option to delay collection by a day or two, we were left with the impression that finance was the only practical way to proceed. We therefore entered into a finance agreement which was settled the next working day.
The vehicle was also advertised as having a full service history, yet the documentation was not supplied at handover. We then had to chase the company for this information and it transpires that the vehicle did not have a full service history. In addition, the vehicle preparation and cleanliness were not to the standard we expected, requiring further time and expense on our part to rectify.
Following a formal complaint, the dealership's own investigation acknowledged shortcomings regarding communication, waiting times, payment arrangements and the overall collection experience. They stated that they had "fallen short" and advised that they would review internal procedures, training and customer communication. However, despite accepting these failings, no meaningful resolution was offered and their final position remained unchanged.
It's disappointing that a company can acknowledge multiple areas where customer service was lacking yet still conclude that no remedy is appropriate.
Whilst we are happy with the car, the overall purchase and handover experience means we would think carefully before buying from this dealership again.

I made an appointment with Big Motoring World having received an online guide valuation for my vehicle of my vehicle that ranged between £11,575 minimum value and £13,635 maximum value (their is words not mine), I travelled to the showroom to then be told my vehicle in good/clean condition would be worth just over £9,000 is an absolute joke.
Whilst I understand that this was an estimated valuation, if there was the slightest degree of honesty in the process in the first place, it would stop the obvious negative comments. This was clearly a hook to get me to travel to one of their showrooms to make a sale with no hope of receiving anything like the online valuation. Even the salesman appeared embarrassed!!
Extremely disappointed with their service and a complete waste of my time & theirs.

Having heard their incredibly annoying ear worm jingle on the radio over recent months, when the time came for a new car, we immediately thought of them. So glad we did as this really is the future of car buying. Great selection to look over, really helpful sales staff who are not paid commission on the car so there is no hard sell. They are incentivized to offer the add ons but you are free to say no.
The whole process was nice, unrushed and well explained from start to finish. Wife like the process and my new car so much we went back 2 weeks later and bought another EV. Once again could not fault them.
If you want a pleasant car buying experience and don't mind humming Bib Big Big Motoring World for a few weeks then definately check them out.

Took a total of 5 hours (not including a 3 hour drive to get there, another 3 hours to ge back) to do a cash deal on a car with BigM,, where the majority of the time was taken up with them trying to sell warranty, paint protection, screen protection, tyre insurance etc. and them trying to sell me PCP when I had already organised a loan with the bank. Then came the worst news, they revalued my PX with them at £1000 less becuase of questions on mileage, turned out a mechanic made a mistake on MOT back in 2014 and put in 238,000 miles instead of 23,800. The following year the mileage was 28,000 - anyhow, WeBuyAnyCar bought the car from me to save the day. The 200 point inspection is dubious, the engine cover is missing, plastic trim to cover the lifting points on the car was chucked in the boot as they had broken the lugs on the trim in removing them, the ODBC scanner port was hanging out on a cable in the drivers well, no charging cable was in the car, no mats were in the car, the valve covers to the tyres didn't exist, two tyres with different brands on same axle. Now I've read a few reviews here it seems there's a pattern. Only had one key, I was told AA Assist would help with providing a cheaper than main dealer price (£500+) only I've since spoken to AA Assist and they can't supply keys for the car I have. Worrying now about what else might turn up in the 3 month 'Warranty' period that they already knew about that they will now blame on 'wear and tear'. I'm going to send to a dealer for inspection, and then reject the car if it turns out that the 200 point check has not been done correctly. They offer 'peace of mind' ... I wish.

Experience was a nightmare , I saw a car online then I went there to their showroom and they charged me £300 more then the listing price as a admin fee
-also they charged me for some sprays for £695.
They cut the internet at the place so I couldn’t search anything or ask my friend in this franchise Bascially if you are looking to buy a car go to the main dealer and purchase your car without any headache

Reply from Big Motoring World - Camberley
There's no doubt they have an enormous selection of cars. The process of booking appointment system is easy to book, we had no wait to see a sales team member and we're looked after by Charlie, who was superb. Unfortunately the listing was incorrect and the car we saw was missing some features we specifically wanted. Charlie worked with us to find another car and that's what we drove home.
One point I would make, is that they are more like Warranty salespeople rather than car salespeople, that's where the 'push' is, and you should factor that into your budget. Handover was concise but make sure you ask questions to check the finance etc as you go to avoid missing something important. Overall I'd recommend this place to get a car, but factor warranty and extras into your budget. I'd also suggest calling to get the specific spec of a car before travelling, as we drove 2 hours and the spec was wrong.
