I ordered my bike on friday evening and it was delivered on Wednesday. When i came to put the bike together i noticed the basket was crooked. I e-mailed the company with pictures and they replied straight away with an offer to sent me a new upgraded basket. The new basket arrived within 2 days. Overall so pleased with my experience and would definately recommend them.

Ordered a bike for my little boys 5th birthday last Friday, was a little unsure whether to order at first as came across a lot of negative reviews but glad I did. Was able to pick the bike up the following Tuesday as was local to us and we needed the bike quickly. Customer service was excellent. Would definitely order again and recommend others to! Gemma

Bought my daughter her second dawes bike from bikes2u and gears arrived faulty emailed them and they didn't give a shot and ended up going to a bike shop I will never be using them again

Ordered late Thursday delivered Monday, good email communication regarding delivery and an online tracker to see where your parcel is (though unfortunately not a delivery time)

Bike arrived in excellent condition largely assembled and with tools to assemble. Think it took longer to unpacked then it did to put together. For the basket I just looked at a photo of the bike. I attached the metal bit that attaches to the front wheel bolts to the bottom of the basket first.

Lovely bike for great price

I was a bit wary of ordering from this website because of the mixed reviews but i decided to go for it as the bike was more expensive (around £100 more!) on other websites. The delivery was really fast only took two days and tracking link worked well. The bike is beautiful! There are a couple of minor marks but to save the money it was worth it. I would say if you don't mind a couple of marks on your bike and you would rather save the money to go with them as for me was worth the saving.

Don't touch them. Bikes for the second time have arrived in poor quality. Customer service response very poor and exceptionally slow. Your better off paying a little more and get then from a ship as you will need to spend anyhow to get bikes how they should be.

Really happy meeting Ben, who free of charge built my 5 year old boys bike so that it could be ready in time for his birthday the next day. Saved me lots of hassle building it myself. Also the quality of the bike was very good and would have cost double this if I brought from high street retailers. This seller is very flexible and allows you to pick up from his site near Leeds if you want. Very delightful chap happy to meet and will most probably buy from here again.

My son got the bike was so happy, and learnt to ride it with his little legs in next to no time. This was his first proper bike, and these great little moments in life are never forgotten. Thanks Ben for helping make that happen!

Excellent company, had manufacturing problems with my bike that weren’t the fault of the supply company. They took my bike and upgraded everything at fault free of charge. Couldn’t ask for better service from a company.

Very good. Delivered when I asked. Only a couple of minor issues; small gear adjustment needed and computer battery stone dead. Great bike.

Worried about purchase as a few bad reviews, how wrong I was, spoke to them soon after order and was told bike was on route, got email link to yodel to track delivery which was within 48hours. The bike arrived in perfect condition securely boxed and with all parts as required.
I would have no hesitation using this company again and would highly recommend as I saved over £300 against the rrp!,

I bought a Genesis Core 26 for my son.

Ordered a bike for my daughter for Xmas . When I assembled it it had a buckled wheel. I called to arrange a new wheel or bike and they said to take it to a bike shop near to my house and get it fixed. Then take a photo of the receipt making sure it wasn’t over £10 and they would refund it ? I don’t want my daughter to see the bike so it’s hard to get it to a shop when I’m at work everyday. It’s also an inconvenience as it’s not my fault, when I ordered a bike I expect it to arrive as new, not damaged. The stroppy girl on the phone said it was more of an inconvenience for them to send it back, disappointed with awful customer service would never buy or recommend buying a bike from them

I was a little apprehensive when I ordered my grandson' Christmas present last weekend, but I needn't have been. From the word go, I was kept informed about what was happening with my order, right down to the approximate time it would be delivered by Yodel. Emails were friendly and polite, the order was correct, included free Spokey Dokies, which he will love (he's 8), everything on the site was straightforward and easy to find what I wanted ( a green bike from Santa!) and delivery was well before the predicted timescale. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
The bike itself is solid and easily built.

So impressed with service from bikes 2 u. Ordered yesterday and received today with free delivery. There is no way any other retailers could match that without paying through the nose for it. The price of the bike was the cheapest I could find. Bike is for my daughter for Xmas but ordered now so that if there were any problems I could sort it out. However no problems at all. The bike was very well packaged and was delivered in good order (no squashed boxes) which from experience with Yodel is very rare. Thank you again. My daughter will be so impressed and so am I. Will definitely be recommending you as a retailer in the future.

I was hesitant about buying a bike on line but my brother recommended them so I purchased a B grade scratched bike in June 2016. Ben was really helpful and honest about the condition of my Dawes Graduate bike. Bike arrived in the condition I expected but, due to Yodel, the bike arrived half hanging out of the box with the manuals and brackets for the dynamo missing and the back light smashed. Contacted Ben and he apologised and sent replacement parts immediately.
After nearly a year of regular communing the bike wasn't holding up to the build quality that I expected of a Dawes bike of that standard. I contacted Ben to ask for the contact details of Dawes so I could complain directly. However Ben couldn't have been more helpful he asked for pictures and then sent replacement parts (one being for the mud guard that fell off) free of change. This was not what I was expecting as I had brought a B grade bike but very glad that Ben stepped in made my life a lot easier.
So in summary my experience with Bikes 2 U direct via Ben has been great just get shot of Yodell and ask Dawes build bikes to their old standard.
