I ordered a bike for my grandson's birthday having found it to be £50 cheaper at Bikes2u than anywhere else. Next day delivery was promised but I asked for it to be delayed as I was away from home for a few days. I was informed by email that the bike had been despatched on the day before I had requested delivery. Even better, when I had to leave the house unexpectedly on delivery day, I received another email assuring me that the bike had been left with a neighbour. This is exceptional customer service. Having just assembled the bike - which was easy and enjoyable - I am delighted with my purchase. I would not hesitate to use Bikes2u again.

What a pathetic company. First they send me a 'new' bike that is actually broken and rusty. They then told me that I should fix this myself! The equally useless and incompetent Khristine from "Customer Care" (what a joke), mentions, quote:

"It is a simple task. If you felt unwilling to replace this yourself and seeked professional assistance, this would be under your responsibility"
What kind of reputable company does this? Please avoid and don't buy from here. The good reviews must have been self written. If they are this poor with their service, would you like your family to be riding any cycles that are poorly assembled from this company

Please do not buy from here. There is no post sale customer service. I am not the only reviewer that has said this.

Ordered a Dawes ladies trekking bike knowing B grade however after clarifying that the rear wheel, tyre and hub was the only changes was assured the bike was " perfect"
On receipt and building bike I immediately notice that the rear wheel valve size was different from the presta valve front wheel. I contacted supplier who sent out new presta valve tubes alibeit stating that they believed that I had the wrong wheel, which was the case as the tube was a standard valve.
The obvious disadvantage being that you will require 2 pumps when out and about.
This is where the company goes ad hoc as they then state that as nothing is faulty they would not replace the wheel ! They stated that I was made aware of the wheel change but do not accept the irony in fitting a differing wheel valve size. They then state that these bike have been lying about for years and they were repaired bike from parts they have available !! They did eventually offer to take the bike back but at my courier cost which having priced would not be an economical viable option.
I reluctantly and keeping the bike( for my wife ) but question the companies ethics in putting bikes on the road other that in perfect condition in that returned to manufactures original spec as economically possible but especially using common sense regards differing tubes size and resulting issue with pumps.
Would I use them again NO would I reccomend NO only as they will not rectify a simple issue and cannot see any issue as there is no " fault"

I do believe that they know what happens was a basic error by their team but to not rectify it and accept their failings is not what one would expect of a any reputable company.

I ordered a bike from bikes2udirect. It was delivered quickly, but there was a problem with it. I contacted customer service, spoke to Khristine and a swap was organised without delay.
Today I have a beautiful new bike.

I buy the bike yesterday 14 pm and I received today 11am. Excellent bike, excellent company excellent delivery. I recommend for everyone.

I ordered a decent bike, perfect for everyday use and the price is suitable for a student. I have had a few issues with some of the parts on the bike, but nothing customer service didn't fix straight away. They answer within an hour, always positive and wanting to help. As well as that, new parts for my bike came in the post after a short amount of time. Can highly recommend!

Had some reservations about ordering online but needn't have worried. Excellent service from Bikes2Udirect,value for money, prompt delivery. When I had a problem with the delivery by an outside company and getting through to them. I emailed bikes2udirect who sorted everything out for me and now I'm in possession of a lovely new bike. Would recommend to family and friends to buy here.

Late delivery and when the bike finally arrived, paint chips, wheels buckled and bent, then when complaints raised, fobbed off with statements that bent wheels are normal and can be dealt with easily by you.... I've never come across 'service' like it and have passed the matter on to a solicitor as they simply are not interested in rectifying their problems.

I thought the days of companies like this were over, but sadly not.

I ordered a bike for my daughters birthday on the Tuesday evening online and it was dispatched the following day, then it slightly went to pot courtesy of Yodel. By Thursday evening I checked the tracking which said the bike had been delivered that morning, yes it had but sadly not to my house nor my neighbours. I emailed Khristine who was excellent and quickly emailed Yodel. Whilst waiting for their reply a gent arrived who'd had the bike delivered to his house, 400yds away, his address and postcode bear no resemblance to mine. Anyway, bike was assembled really easily and it's fantastic, well worth the money and £90 cheaper than Halfords. Khristine's excellent service and prompt reply couldn't be faulted, the only reason I haven't given 5 stars is due to Yodel, shame their poor service reflects poorly on an otherwise first class service.

I found this website by accident and was unsure whether to order because of the mixed reviews however I can definitely recommend this company. I purchased a grade 2 road bike which said there were some scratches. I have been looking for a bike for a few weeks and the price I paid is less than second hand bikes advertised! I ordered yesterday but quickly realised my address was slightly incorrect, I emailed the company who quickly responded stating that they had amended it for me. Two other queries were also answered promptly. I ordered yesterday and the bike arrived this morning! The scratches mentioned were barely noticeable - to say I am impressed is an understatement - I would definitely buy from here again and would recommend to others. Thank you!

I found the customer service exceptional. The representative who dealt with me went to a considerable amount of effort to ensure I ordered the correct size bike for my son. We received the bike within 24 hours of placing the order. Their pricing is exceptional and although it required a little more assembly than other bikes I have ordered, it was road ready within half an hour of unpacking. The packaging was thorough and very protective.

I was over the moon. Good price, good service, good delivery service, excellent packaging. For the most part the bike was put together the gears being the most difficult was done but for some minor adjustment. The wheels, pedals, saddle, bell, reflector they had to be fixed to the frame.You cant expect that the bike would be delivered in one piece, besides the fun is putting it together. I would recommend. Well done.

Despite receiving the bike promptly, there were issues with the mechanics of the bike. On phoning customer service, they took absolutely no responsibility for the this and said either the courier (yodel) had damaged it in transit (the box was in tact) or that I may have damaged it myself.

In order to have a road worthy bike in the time frame that I required I took the decision to have the bike serviced at my own cost. Goodness knows how long I would've been without a bike otherwise.

It was being accused of damaging the bike that really made me angry. Absolutely appalling.

Ordered bike online having asked a couple of questions, bike arrived speedily. The only problem encountered was 'truing' of the front wheel which it seems is sometimes necessary. On seller's advice, took said wheel to local shop to be fixed. Once fixed the seller reimbursed me straight away. Delighted with the bike which is great value, and also the service I received from the seller.

The original bike ordered was out of stock but same model in different colour was available. As this delayed things by a day or so and the bike was for our granddaughters birthday I asked if delivery could be arranged ASAP. I received an e-mail straight away saying yes and bike was delivered next day.
Can't ask for better than that.
