I judge a company on how well they preform when an issue arises.
Received the wrong colour decals on the baby carrier on a bumper sparkle bike and contacted bikes2u and they blamed the bike company as it's from them and said they can change design whenever they desire.
My issue is the fact the bikes2u don't state designs may vary and don't take any responsibility if there is an issue like this.
I contacted bumper and the decal that I should have is still in production unlike bikes2u said they don't vary designs anymore.
All they want is your money and pass responsibility to everyone else.
Won't be using again.

Really impressed with their customer service. The bike is great. Fast delivery and their after care was excellent.

Very quick response to my initial e-mail enquiring about a tandem. Ben gave a very comprehensive answer to my query and included links to reference materials and YouTube videos - excellent. It made the decision process much easier.
The tandem then arrived very quickly

Took a week to arrive when it was promised 1- 3 days. Finally had a promise from Yodel that it would be delivered to my works address on Saturday because they wouldnt deliver to my home. Hung around there all day in the vain hope it would arrive because bike was a present for a Birthday that day, it didn't. Finally arrives and a key part is missing. Contacted Customer Service yesterday and have heard nothing so far.

I ordered a bike online.

I got an email to say that the frame I ordered wasn't available. I was offered two other sizes. I telephoned them and eventually got through. I was advised the bigger of the two alternatives would fit me and was told if the frame didn't fit then I could return it. I wasn't told about any re-stocking fee. The bike didn't fit.

I organised the return - they then said if I didn't agree to accepting the responsibility for any damage caused by their courier in returning the bike then I wouldn't organise the return.

Also, be careful of hidden charges. There is no mention of re-stocking charges in their terms and conditions but they wanted to charge me 15%.

Placed order for 2 bikes but had prob with card called them straight away and call was answered with no waiting and adviced will call back in morn when payment will be processed recvd call first thing explaining I only ordered one adviced I needed an extra one ordered she wax so helpful and was then told delivery will be the next day #1stclassservice

Purchased a Whistle mountain bike for my son from Bikes 2 u.
delivered on time and in exelant condition,
Great bike good price, very good service. Minimal assembling to do.
Would recommend them.polite staff.

I purchased a bike for my son back in October, I didn't check this on arrival and there were several small deep scratches on the handle bars when we can to build it on Christmas day. My email was dealt with very quickly and satisfactorily. I would recommend this company

I recently purchased a Viking Milano Road Bike on their website. I encountered some payment issues and they immediately called me explaining the problem. I sadly had a block on my card and they helped me resolve the problem. I eventually was able to pay for the bike the same day and had next day delivery which was fantastic.

About 3 weeks of having the bike I encountered a problem with the front wheel. Upon inspection of the front tyre the inner tube had a puncture by the valve, I'm no bike expert so I took the bike to Halfords to get it fixed. They said the puncture may have been caused during the installation of the wheel. So I contacted bike's 2 u direct about the tyre and they paid for the new inner tube and the repair, which I was surprised about. They also sent out a new inner tube.

Other than the tyre problem the company is fantastic they helped me whilst purchasing the bike and also when I needed my bike repaired which is great. My bike is doing great and was a great investment and happy to ride it everyday knowing I purchased from a great company that's very helpful.

Very fast service. Excellent customer service as all my queries were answered very quickly. Also accommodated a change to free helmet which they didn't have to do. Would definitely recommend.

I recently bought a cheap Single Speed bike from the website. I was slightly apprehensive having read some of the reviews but I had nothing to worry about. The bike was delivered promptly and intact. I don't have much experience working on bikes but I was able to put it together and take it for a ride within a couple of hours. There were no instructions with the bike but I was able to figure everything out easily enough.

There were 2 small issues, the bell I received didn't fit the handlebars and the front reflector had no place to attach to either. I emailed Ben and he very kindly supplied me with a bell and light set to make up for this which I was very happy about.

All in all, despite the small issues, I would highly recommend them if you are thinking of getting a bike.

i never leave reviews but the service was so good and easy to use I felt I had to . Amazing service from start to finish the website is easy to use and has some good features like the "brands guide" which I found really useful and once ordered bike came next day which I know was more down to the couriers but it shows my order was dealt with really quickly. All round top service thanks

Bought a Claud Butler bike, delivered in four days, came with a faulty tyre. Emailed them, no response whatsoever, can't use the bike sitting there doing nothing as not sure if I have to return it or will they send a replacement tyre? Silence is not good customer service, it was a birthday present for my daughter so all her friends and our family saw her unwrap it at party, but then we had to tell them it came with a faulty tyre so she couldn't take it for a ride. I don't think I need to recommend this company to anyone at all as they have witness the poor service so far ...

Exceptional Service, delivered as discussed, the bike was in excellent condition apart from one minor detail which was addressed immediately. I would have no problem ordering from them again and recommending them to others.

I ordered my bike on Sunday snd received it by Tuesday. After almost assembling the whole bike I noticed that the front wheel on delivery had scratched the frame. I contacted customer care with pics, who although they didn't offer to swap the bike have sent me several accesories to cover cost of repair. If you want immaculate go to halfords but if you want a good bike for cheap money look no further.

I read some or the reviews on here , and was a little nervous to be honest . But I shouldn't have been . The bike I ordered was very keenly priced and arrived within 3 days of ordering it . There was a problem with the front wheel which needed trueing . I e-mailed the company and got a response from Ben , in less than 3 hours . He advised me to take the wheel to halfords and they would deal with it . He offered me a refund for the amount it would cost me , but we agreed he would give me a credit note for some accessories that I needed . I think that is pretty good customer service , and the amount I saved on the price of the bike more than makes up for the trip to halfords .

Was a bit worried about using this site after read previous reviews but I countined to try them any way. I ordered my bike on a Sunday received it on Wednesday no problems what so ever but trying to contact them is hard but they respond to emails pretty well

Having read the previous reviews I was very cautious about ordering from bikes 2 u but was persuaded to give it a try by the cheap price and the free helmet, lock and lights.... I ordered a Claude Butler Torment on sunday and it arrived on Tuesday. the front wheel did have a puncture which I fixed no problem, I rang the company and they sent out a new inner tube which arrived the very next day..... I would highly recommend this company and urge people to take into account that most of the negative reviews are in the Christmas rush....

I bought a Dawes Academy 20 from Bikue2udirect for my sons birthday. It was all rather short notice, but they checked stock, arranged express delivery and called me back several times to notify me of progress. It was MUCH a cheaper than competition, and a great shopping experience. Kudos to Ben, who was great to deal with. Would recommend thoroughly.
