This could have easily been a much lower star review. When I opened the box I noticed the saddle was damaged. The packaging had come off and it had rubbed against the tire during transit. I had ordere... See more

Excellent service
Excellent company to deal with if you want service. Bike was despatched same day. Saddle had a defect and was replaced within 4 days with manufacturer's original. Was offered an equivalent within a day if I wanted. A pleasant experience altogether.
Excellent Customer Service
I am very happy with Bikes2udirect. I recently bought 2 bikes, 1 for my wife and another for my son. By mistake I order a racing bike for my son, although he wanted a Mountain Bike. I contacted the Customer Service and they arranged the collection of the bike, gave me a new one and paid me the difference in price. All very quickly. 5 stars.
Can't fault the service...like others I'm surprised at the poor reviews.
I saw my bike cheaper elsewhere...I rang up and the lady told me to forward the details in an email. I was expecting an acknowledgement the next day - I had a reply from Tobie within 5minutes this was about 5.15pm where he said he would look into price-matching. I had an agreement the next day that they would match the price. He asked me if I wanted it delivering the following day I.E. Friday or Saturday. Requested Friday and it duly arrived. I exchanged approximately 8 emails with Tobie...fab at his job. I would thoroughly recommend bikes2udirect to anyone.
Many thanks for a great experience. Keep up the good work.
Cannot fault service or delivery
Was a bit surprised at some of the reviews I have just read as this wasn't my experience at all. Raleigh Caprice. Spotless condition built using Raleigh handbook. Well packaged. My partner is over the moon with it.
Two Bikes - first class service
I've had two bikes from them now one for me and one for my son. Good bikes, good prices and speedy delivery.
Dont touch them unless you are a bike expert. Or you are prepared to get bike checked proffesionally before riding
Just got the bike assembled checked as best as I can (in limited manual) does not describe how to check. rode 200 yards chain jammed when looked chain is stuck to the frame of the gear changer. Phoned up customer service and they have said that this is an assembly / set up issue and that they do not support these issues, even though gears come ready assembled.
Don't touch them with a barge pole.
My new bike arrived. I put it together as the instructions stated and then my first ride. Going down a hill both brake cables came loose. Fortunately I was able to stop without injury. I emailed the company and 4 days later I still have had no response.
lovely new bike, which makes my 12 mike ride to work a joy!
I wanted a replacement for my halfords cheap and cheerful BSO, so looked around and liked the look and spec of the Viking brand. Found bikes2udirect and as they had the model, size and colour I wanted, I decided to order it.
It came in super quick time, and was assembled quickly. Found a couple of scratches on it, but a quick email to customer services and it was sorted. The service i have received has been top notch, and nothing like those described in the poor rated reviews......
I am now the proud owner of a very good looking bike, that is a joy to ride on my daily commute. I will highly reccomend you to all my friends, and look forward to sourcing my next bike (a road bike!) next time.
Many thanks Bikes2udirect!
Received broken bike twice
My first bike arrived with the box already half opened and a bike that was clearly not new. There were scratch marks on it and parts of the metal bent. It had been so bent that I was unable to assemble the wheel to the bike frame. So I contacted Bikes 2U, and they offered to pick up the broken bike and deliver a new one.
However the new bike had the exact same damage, the part where the bike wheel is meant to slip in was completely bent and visible scratches around the area. I was very appalled by the condition in which the bikes had been shipped. Too bad!
Good prices on lovely bikes - good service too
My wife wanted a new bike so I had a good search on the net and came across this company. I was going to order a new bike when I saw that hey had a B grade bargains section and I ordered a scratched bike for a sensible discount. When it came the scratches were barley noticeable and did not go through the paint to the metal so would not have been a corrosion problem - But the rear dropouts were bent, something you would never have spotted without assembling the bike.
I got on the phone, they were very helpful and arranged of the courier to come and collect at no cost to me. I order the same model new - and I said what will you give me for the hassle, and they threw in a really useful pump without any quibble. The new bike arrived quickly. It was still good value and after a year or so is still great.
I'd recommend to anyone.
Beware - broken bikes and broken promises!
Bought a bike from this lot at a good price but it arrived damaged
They convinced me that a repair would be best rather than replaced, but when the repair cost more than they thought they refused to pay the difference telling me 'well you got the bike cheap anyway' and we don't pay for any transportation to and from teh repair centre costs!
AVOID!
Brilliant prices, speedy delivery and great customer care!
I ordered a beautiful Dutch style bicycle, unfortunately I noticed some dents to the bodywork and the basket which I reported to the customer services at Bikes 2 U Direct. They swiftly responded to my email and offered to send a me a new basket and a another item all for free for my inconvenience. What a kind gesture! I have recommended them to everyone I know who rides a bicycle! :)
I have had no issues
Hi,
I am surprised by the negative responses for these guys and had to post something in their defense.
I have had 3 bikes now from these sellers, including 2 this Christmas just gone and I have had no issues at all.
Everything I ordered was promptly delivered and was complete and in perfect condition. 1 Raleigh MX16 and a Diamondback Overdrive.
The kids are over the moon with them.
That is all I could have asked for and would have no issues using them again.

Disgusted with quality of bike sent. Although the delivery service was fast. WOULD ADVISE CUSTOMERS TO STEER CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY
I purchased a BMX bike for my grandson for Xmas. Because we did not want him to see it we left it intact in the box it was sent in until Monday 23rd December. When we went to put it together the holes for the pedals were drilled out at an angle rather than straight so that the pedals did not fit on. It was too late to get this back to company and replace so had to rush to a local Halfords and purchase another. The courier company collected just after Xmas and I got my money back but I argued that the goods sold were not fit for purpose and that the courier fees charged should also be refunded as the goods had not been quality control checked. Company refused to refund this hefty charge for a bike sold that was unfit for it's purpose. We could ALL sell unfit goods and charge a hefty courier fee and refuse to refund them! Company say that their mechanic (who obviously had too much to drink over Xmas period) had looked at bike and says that the paintwork where pedals are fixed to had been dug out - that was because we tried to get the bloody pedals to fit on. No wonder the delivery services was good if they send out crap goods to start with. What a money spinner for this company!
outstanding experiance
trouble free and painless , what more can I say
slippery customer service and damaged bike
I ordered a beautiful Viking bike for my daughter. When it arrived I immediately saw a number of quite bad scratches on the frame. I contacted customer services who asked me to send photos, which I did. They offered me a set of bike lights or £10 refund.
I said no, and they upped it to £15. I unwrapped the rest of the bike and found lots more scuffs and scratches. I sent these photos as well, and was told that the most they would still refund is £15.
I told them that this wasn't good enough and to come and collect the bike. They said that I had to repackage the bike with ties, and as it was, and if any damage comes to it on its return, I would be charged for it. At this point I read some very worrying reviews of this company and decided that sending the bike back and hoping for a refund would be a very bad idea. They had my credit card details and had already informed me that if they decided thst the bike wasn't packaged well enough by me, they would take money from my account. I decided to cut my losses and my daughter ended up with a scratched and scuffed bike for her birthday, which I then had to pay someone to assemble, as they sent me assembly instructions for a bmx.. a completely different bike.
Avoid this company at all costs; their cheap prices are not that cheap at all when they are sending damaged items to their customers.
Excellent bikes and great customer service.
I ordered a Ridgeback Comet for my wife from Bikes2udirect. It was delivered within 48 hours [by Yodel] and it was very easy to track the order. The bike came without the tools for assembly but they were sent out the next day after contacting customer service. I had had a nightmare with a bike I ordered from ASDA Direct and I was so impressed with the service from Bikes2udirect that I ordered another Ridgeback from them for myself - again very pleased with the bike and service.
Excellent
I was scared after reading the bad reviews ( I had ordered my bike before reading the reviews ) I panicked a bit. I ordered it Saturday morning. It said three to four days. Monday I got a mail with order number and tracking number. Tuesday morning tracking worked and said it was on its way. Three pm it was here !
And all the pieces were there, perfect conditions, tools for putting it together. Nothing to say.
Bikes2udiect = excellent
Yodel = excellent
DISREPUTABLE company, look elsewhere!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. We bought the Raleigh Miss Kool for our 5 year old On arrival the left hand brake lever was smashed. They replaced it. We fitted it. However, after the bike was assembled and my daughter gave it a try it was evident that the rear wheel was buckled making the bike unusable.
When we contacted the company they refused to accept liability for the damage, blaming the courier company. When pointed out that the bike was unfit for purpose they refused a refund on the basis that the bike was now secondhand, having been ridden around the garden once even though the fault in the wheel wasn't obvious before the bike was ridden.
Their solution is for us to take the bike to Halfords for repair which they will reimburse to a maximum of £10.99 or for us to disassemble the bike and return it to them for repair. Notwithstanding the hassle of disassembling the bike, clearly we have little faith in their ability to repair the bike when their aftersales service has been so slippery. Also perhaps the courier company will damage the bike on its return to us and we'll be back where we started! Overall, extremely poor after sales and no sense of responsibility. This company are clearly more interested in a quick profit than repeat business. AVOID!
Ideally would have liked a saddle...
My bike arrived without a saddle...need I say more? Yes? Ok then my friends back (ordered at the same time) came broken and with not tools or instructions.
I was advised by customer services that I was "Unlucky" absolute joke.
