Back in summer 2020 I spent a few…

Back in summer 2020 I spent a few hundred dollars on the black and decker portable AC unit. It came to me with a crack in the bottom so it leaked water. I spent the entire summer trying to get a replacement. Finally end of August 2021 I'm told the replacement is on its way. I received the replacement September 2021. I didnt take it out because the summer was over and i wouldnt need it. Summer 2022 i install the new AC only to find the plastic surrounding the drain plug was broken. I have been messaging with black & decker since July 3rd. I have been continuously told that they would reach out. Its now the end of July and nobody has reached out. I have sent them message after message to no avail. Black & Decker, you have the worst customer service imaginable. You continuously send out broken products and dont refund and take FAR to long to respond, nevermind to replace the product. I just want a working AC unit that doesn't leak. I spent numerous hundreds of dollars on this three years ago now and still havent gotten a working unit. On top of that, i had the brand new floors in my house get completely soaked from the water pissing out the back of my second AC unit, the replacement. When are you going to hold yourselves accountable? I need this replaced ASAP. I should receive compensation for how much of a waste of money, time, and resources this has been, plus the damages to my floors from your product.

Contacted BLACK and Decker on around…

Contacted BLACK and Decker on around the 13 of July2022 about a replacement battery for a MT combo set from several years ago. This particular tool is no longer being made nor is the battery.I was first told THAT A REPLACEMENT BATTERY WOULD SENT TO REPLACE THE OLD BATTERY ME AT NO CHARGE. WAS SUPOSSE TO GET A CONFERMATION EMAIL LATER THAT NIGHT. DIDNT GET IT UNTILL THE NEXT DAY FOUND OUT THAT THEY HAD NO REPLACEMENT FOR THAT TOOL AT ALL BUT WOULD SEND ME A TOTALLY NEW TOOL SET IF I WAS INTERESTED. I TOLD THEM I WAS BUT HAD A LOT OF TROUBLE TRYING TO SEND A REPLY BY EMAIL. CANT GET ONE SENT OFF. KEEP GETTING A NOTICE THAT IT IS AN ENVAILED EMAIL. GETTING A EMAIL ON MY IPAD THAT SAYS SUPPORT I HAVE A PENDING TICKETAND THEY HAVENT HEARD BACK FROM ME SO THEY CAN RESOLVE MY TICKET. DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE SO HARD TO RESPOND TO AN EMAIL TO A COMPANY LIKE THIS. THE OLD TOOL THAT I NEEDED TO BE REPLACED IS A MT1203T2 AND WAS SUPPOSE TO BE REPLACED A NEW ONE MODEL NO. BDCMT1206KITC MATRIX 6-TOOL CORDLESS COMBO I HAVE HAD BLACK AND DECKER PRODUCKS FOR YEARS AND NEVER HAD SO MUCH TROUBLE AS I AM HAVING NOW.

BLACK AND DECKER IS OUT OF CONTROL and has lost sight of its customers in Canada and the US.

This incompetent crazy company went down hill after the merger with Stanley.. I have a Black and Decker Portable air conditioner I would like to use.. PRODUCT number BPC12CK12000, serial number B1102000051. The product is practically brand new but needs service and parts. That is where the trouble begins..TOTAL CONFUSION. If you are a Canadian consumer its even worse.. Information out of date on the website and missing including service companies and 1800 corporate numbers to service this Neglected product.I spent over 2 hours talking to 7 people and looking a US Canadian webisites..Now dealing with facebook..Time spent is over 2 hours... Does this horrible company care ? Probably not.... I SAY DO NOT BUY BLACK AND DECKER PRODUCTS .BUY LG instead...They stand by their product and their service is outstanding..Too many chiefs and not enough service Indians at BLACK and DECKER that used to be a respectable company..NOT ANYMORE >>SHAME ON YOU BLACK AND DECKER CORPORATE US TEAM. You have lost the trust of your loyal customers..

AWESOME HAND VAC

I bought B&D's 16 V battery operated hand vac about 2 weeks ago. Love this appliance. Lots of power and enough power to do 2 staircases and more. Please don't change it.

I bought ablack and decker air fryer had it 6 months and the door wont close went to their experts line and for 28.00 a month he can tell me how to repair it.I dont want to repair the damn thing.Shouldnt they last longer than that,the last one lasted 7yrs an off brand I might add.so will I buy another one black and decker NO.Seems their making junk now!

I was pleasantly surprised by the…

I was pleasantly surprised by the service I got, though I went through the American office first, who then connected me to Customer Service Canada. My B&D blender's glass jar developed a huge crack when I removed it from the dishwasher. The company asked me to read the code on the plug, and give the model number. They will be sending me a new glass jar, cost free from the US via Mississauga. The item is expected to arrive within a month. I happily saved over $100 not having to buy a new blender. I don't know the value of the replacement piece. Both the agents in the US and Canada were very pleasant and helpful.

Worst customer service…period

Worst customer service…period. Attempted to contact by email. First reply finally came about 8 days later. Sent the info they requested and cannot get a return/reply after multiple attempts. It’s been a week. Simply unacceptable communication and I gave up. Will never use the black and decker line of product again and will continue to spread the poor experience.

The blender i suppose is alright

The blender i suppose is alright, nothing special...what's TRULY upset me, is the round plastic which twists on bottom, split, after 3 months (I was gentle with it) But they don't replace free. And I have to order for $11. I'm in Mexico, had to call several #'s, got the run-around.

Keep all receipts regardless otherwise you have no chance of changing a faulty tool

Where to start?? Didn't realise just how bad Black&Decker appear to be. Very surprised!

Why you ask, well, myself, my father and g/father always bought Black & Decker tools etc so could say for several decades and many hundreds!! of pounds spent.

So, my problem. I had a Scorpion saw 400w (I had a couple and love them but..) the second last one had a problem with the blade locking mechanism. Contacted Black & Decker and arranged for the necessary form with receipt to be sent back and had a replacement within a few weeks or so.
However this one burnt out a few weeks ago and contacted them again. They were happy to replace as long as I had the receipt (which I did not) & of course no receipt with this last one so they refused me a replacement.
Well I have spent at least a couple of weeks asking, explaining, discussing but to no avail.

So the replacement after less than a year old will not be replaced so I have bought another one. (silly me? no I like the saw very much.)
Well I have sent an email to "James M. Loree" CEO of Black & Decker purely to see what he has to say.
I doubt he will answer but really for what appears to be a huge worldwide company the customer service is seriously lacking.

I hope they get back to what they used to be as I still feel the product is very good

I have to say a big thank you to this…

I have to say a big thank you to this company.
When I lived in South Africa, we did like the make, it always worked for us. I live in Estonia now and wanted the same, of coz. Sooo, I ordered from the UK...first the lownmover, and after that the saw, both on lion batteries.
Thank you so much for that fabulous products you make. Very grateful.
None of the products let me down. Keep it up!

Kit Box too small, and does not fit the product!

Why does Black+Decker claime they product include a kix box, when it's absollutly impossible to store the maschine and user manual intop the box after it's opened?
How hard can it be developing a box, where it's easy to packe the mashine away after use?
Not a good experience - I hate my newly purchased product!
Desrespect of their customers!!!

Warranty registration issues

Tried to register a new purchase on their uk site. Filled it out only to find that the dropdown menu had every country bar uk!
Went to online chat and was given a link to DeWalt site. Tried that and gave up. Went back to online chat to be told that I didn't need to register anyway!

Absolutely the worse Black & Decket

Absolutely the worse! I bought a Crockpot last year. The lid didn’t fit right and as a result, it didn’t cook right. Dealt with Spectrum and they told me my replacement lid was on back order. After several months I was notified today my replacement lid order was canceled. The lid is no longer made or available. They now want to sell me another Crockpot. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN

Poor customer service, non-existent warranty

This review is for the poor, outsourced customer service, nonexistent 1 year warranty, and my bad experience with BLACK+DECKER EM031MB11 Digital Microwave Oven. Purchased on Jun 14, 2021 for $108 on Amazon.

I knew I should have returned this microwave the first day I got it. This microwave causes a lot of condensation/water drips upon microwaving anything, wet or dry. The water drips are a problem as it covers the top, dripping into the food, and forms from the inside section of the door. It's also a pain because you are required to wipe it clean within every use, otherwise it starts to develop bad smells as you wait for the drips to dry as it dissapates.

I have owned many microwaves, never experienced. I reached out to customer service (which is outsourced to a 3rd party called Midea) for a fix, exchange or refund. They did not offer a solution for the issue. They did nothing. They claim this is normal for microwaves; that is unacceptable. It is a lie to the consumer to claim that microwaves behave this why. If that's "normal" for your microwave, then your product is built very poorly. We couldn't take it anymore after 4 months, so we purchased a Toshiba EM131A5C-SS to replace it (great quality, highly recommend).

Do not trust the one year warranty. This is clearly a lie based on this review and others who experienced similar issues.

Another issue I have with this microwave is it's incredibly loud - both the door upon closing it and the heating. The door push latch is hard to push.

Not only am I disappointed in this microwave, but Black and Decker's poor customer service shows their lack of care for their customers. I have lost all trust with Black and Decker completely from this experience.

My father used B&D tools for years and…

My father used B&D tools for years and I grew up with them. I still use the tools from my father but one item my wife of 45 years purchased for me was the workbench and it’s as reliable as the day I received it! Missing a few parts but thank you!

Horrible Service

Black and Decker recently took over Lista Cabinet/Carts, and since then the service has been horrible. We order approximately 100 of these per year (Average $4k per cart) and they are constantly late, damaged, etc. We were told that since Black and Decker took over, we are peanuts to them and their business schedule. Going to start ordering these carts through another manufacturer.
