Not only do they charge £25 for a carer ticket but they also charge £18 for non riders. Refused to allow food to be taken in for my son who has arfid, made us pay £6 for a locker to store it in. Rides... See more

Enjoyed today and staff was great
I went today, not the best of weathers with storm. The big one or as I know it as Pepsi max closed due to high winds understandable.
Apart from big dipper breaking down and not on and broke down when due to ride never went on it. Only 2 I didn’t go on is the above.
Did get speedy pass £50 each for two people to try as I like to go to a park and blitz them if only going once for the day out the year.
Not been in years speedy pass was worth it and staff helped to use. 4 mins max was longest I waited on one ride icon then 0(ready) to 3 mins max all day incl icon.
Managed to go on a lot including icon 6 times.
17 times on rollercoasters (had to leave few hours early).
Really enjoyed the day despite the above with 2 rollercoaster issues and weather.
Really needs a re track refurb on grand national that is so rough jilting about on the drops needs to come with a warning sign.
My fave was Valhalla, soaking wet but the fire, effects and theme in there is the best effort for a ride there.
Obv icon was great a bit mild and tame for me.
But in all enjoyed the day.
First experience and most likely the last
Very poor first experience.
Very pricey, booked in advance to get a discount but on the day of the booking the weather was terrible, which can’t be helped but it wasn’t even worth the discounted price. We arrived and queued for a ride which we didn’t get on because of technical problems, luckily we weren’t waiting for that ride too long but still disappointed.
Queued for the Big dipper and when it was our turn we were first in line to get onto the next cart the ride broke down, again this is something that can’t always be help but I feel we should’ve been offered a one time fast pass for the ride to return when it’s working again or to use on another ride it’s it doesn’t get fixed. We queued for nothing and got turn away. After this we got a coffee from the little shop nearby and the young lady’s attitude was atrocious. Customer service, non existent. We tried to get on as many rides as possible before we had to leave to get our moneys worth but that would’ve been impossible because nothing about my first experience here would make me want to return.
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is good
We visited with our son, who had an access pass as he is autistic. It worked really well. Everyone was very helpful, and ensured we had a really positive visit. They answered all his questions and he had a great day.
The Easy Pass is a really good idea for those who struggle with people and queues.
Our son says :"I liked going on fast rides, and winning plushies. My Mum took me and I am really happy. "
Can’t take packed lunch in for children…
Can’t take packed lunch in for children also to long waiting times for rides total rip off won’t be going again
The problem for me was the WiFi
The problem for me was the WiFi. In a town with such bad WiFi I’m supposed to buy an E ticket and not just show it to get in but for every ride! It held up the queues and being a parent most of what I was there for was to watch my kid going on rides, only he needed my phone to do so! I couldn’t get in the queue and walk back with the phone so I had to go on lots of rides I would have preferred not to. It also would have been good if lockers were available. I was one of many who travelled to get there, we both had a bag and coat but that wasn’t helpful on rides. Not very well thought out!
Lots of things were closed eg the Big One so what we got and what was advertised was very different.
Not helpful to a parent that has paid enough for a ticket to get there and find arcades, challenges (eg land this in to win), photographs and shows costing loads more. I want to pay that ticket price and know all is covered not the tip of the iceberg.
Some of the structures wobbled and didn’t feel too solid and safe. Tickets were costly, everything that is part of the experience is extra and no cash in a place with terrible WiFi is the biggest risk of all. I also was lucky I got the tickets and found that the train hadn’t been cancelled because on some days it had been and customers aren’t willing to lose their money if it all goes wrong! Perhaps rethink this whole e ticket only deal!
Long queues
Long queues. not allowed to take food into the park. Really annoyed by the rich queue jumpers who can afford a fast pass. Overall very disappointing. Only got on 7 rides even on a Wednesday.
I did a poo beside the big dipper
I did a poo beside the big dipper , it was refreshing but a proper steamer , I enjoyed the experience apart from a women Rudely staring at me and telling staff , also no toilet roll ?? I assumed it was a restroom by mistake , I was glad too see plenty of other man United supporters with a unique smile like mine , overall a great day out would go again but bring own toilet roll and extra colourful vapes as mine run out. staff were friendly
Park goer pooing behind a ride!
Witnessed one park goers pulling her pants down and creaming off poo behind one of the rides, near the big dipper. I was absolutely SPEECHLESS!
The full park was full of Jeremy Kylesque type of individuals with face tattoos, missing teeth and 20 year old Man United T Shirts with cigarette burns.
I told a staff member what I witnessed to which he loudly beltched in my face, his stagnant breath brought tears to my eyes.
I had such fond memories of the pleasure beach growing up.
It’s now just a cesspit of unemployment degenerates smoking colourful vapes and wearing fake clothing.
The Pleasure Beach should be closed down, the word Chernobyl comes to mind.
Oh and it was £198 for 4 of us 😳
2 Adults and 4 kids OR 5 adults and a child?
2 Adults and 4 kids...well 5 adults and 1 kid caught a train to Blackpool pleasure beach. Bit disgruntled with the cost pre visit but always keep promises to my grandchildren. My husband and I are pensioners and there is no concessions on price, I don't go on rides and there is no concession for non-riders, our grandchildren are 15, 12 and 8. The only child is 8 ! But the hefty cost to get us in was over £250.00; we went by train; 2 x adults and 4kids !! another £100.
To save some costs I prepared a picnic and took it on a small trolley to save carrying a heavy (6 diners) BUT stopped at the gate and told no trolleys or food allowed into the site; hence we needed to put in a locker...o well, will save us trapsing bags around but the lockers were either not working, too small and more importantly COST MONEY. we managed to get a small one (which fitted a couple of towels and plastic bottles of water in) but it was for only 4 hours = £2.50.
Certainly not getting off to a good start; every time we wanted to eat or drink we had to return to the locker at the entrance ; with our remaining heavy load. we were exhausted before we began....Finally coerced the kids to eat the picnic to lighten our load; but told by a patrolling security man we couldn't eat our food sat on one of the benches in the site !!! It was hard no to react in front of the children to this as we didn't want to spoil their day.
Other than that we all enjoyed our time together at the theme park; if your new to rides there is plenty to ride and if your a thrill -seeker the same applies-the park was not particularly busy so the queues were reasonably quick.
I don't want to be negative because my grandchildren had a good day But do wonder why the company don't change/review their admission charges criteria so it would be affordable for many more people to experience and enjoy
Would only visit with speedy pass
This was our 2nd year visiting pleasure beach and we have loved it both times. The selection of rides are great and our kids had a great time. Only thing is we wouldn’t even attempt to visit in the summer without a speedy pass ticket which got us on rides in 5 minutes instead of the 2+ hour queues. The food and drink prices are extortionate but to be expected at a theme park. Overall we loved it and will definitely be visiting again!
Staff are rude and childish queue time…
Staff are rude and childish queue time horrendous but I think this is so they can reap the £12 fast pass fees. It's greedy and visitor numbers are beginning go drop along with the negative reviews increasing. Why scan your phone every ride is ridiculous and this is causing queues too pull them out and save time and money. The parks clean thus years staff is poor will not visit again
Pleasure Beach is fine
Pleasure Beach is fine. Good choice of rides
Seems like most of these negative reviews are from very self entitled who think they’re too important to queue, especially if they have kids. That’s a part of all theme parks, deal with it
GREADY BUG-ERS…
Worst time ever at Blackpool Pleasure Beach 17.07.2024. Bus loads of school kids. Massive queue`s.
Some queues were nearly 3 hours long. Stood in Valhala queue for 90 minutes to be told it was closed now due to technical issues. I managed to get on 2 rides in the time it was open. Not value for money!!!
Not my idea of fun standing in queues all day. Even the fast pass was sold out. Now there is a VIP fast pass that costs £55 on top of your entry fee. The ticket on phone is another stupid annoying thing. Lot`s of rides were closed also. Total nightmare!!
We will not be back and will be telling everyone who listens not to waste their money. Cost nearly £200 for 4 people for in total less than 10 rides.
DON`T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Disgraceful process to redeem a ticket
Disgraceful process to redeem a ticket, rather than sending the tickets direct to the email address they send an order number which then you have to download an app then enter all your full names and take a photo of each person. Well we won’t be spending a penny in the park.
Rude and aggressive staff
Lots of rides are closed due to disrepair and being broken.
The staff are rude and aggressive.
The security staff are incompetent, useless and dishonest.
This is the Benidorm of theme parks, it's full of trashy badly behaved people and the staff are even worse, especially the security staff.
Save your money and go somewhere more upmarket than this dump, legoland windsor is a much better choice than this.
Run down and rides not operating
Run down, needs serious investment and rides need to be running consistently, there were so many not operating today I wondered what as a family of 7 we spent our £245 on pre booked tickets for. Paint work shabby, rides that were running had musical glitches / lights not working. I fear our beloved pleasure beach won’t be around much longer. The only plus side today was there were very little by way of queues and the ride operators were really friendly.
Appalling at every level from customer service to ride experience.
As massive thill seekers my husband and I look forward to going to Blackpool every year. We never managed last year but we went yesterday and were eagerly looking forward to Valhalla and hadn't been on it since the reopening. We stopped going on the old woodie coasters a few years back after the big dipper left me with severe nerve shoulder pain which lasted months. Upon arriving we were met with unfriendly staff as we booked an access pass the girl was quite short and unfriendly in explaining how it worked as this is the first time we have used his access pass at this park. I understand whilst my husband may look quite physically fit he has rheumatoid arthritis and his feet and joints hurt most of the time so standing in long queues is difficult. Now for security staff on the the actual park entry, they were rude and aggressive!!! I wear a fairly sizeable heavy chain round my neck it's a short choacker length chain. It was demanded I take it off and hand it over to be collected later and my initial reaction was there is no way I'm handing it over. I opted for a locker instead in the end. For reference I went to thorpe park Wednesday and they didn't even bat an eye at it, it was just removed to step through the security scanner. Then onto the actual park experience which will for the foreseeable future be potentially out last visit. I was hopeful the big one may be smoother since the re-track but it seemed worse than ever and I left the ride feeling battered. Infusion for a fairly new coaster was far rougher than I ever remember and was advised to "remove my earrings" by staff to stop my ears from bleeding??!! I opted to put my hood up instead but was glad I did but the worst was the whole restraint system seems to cut into your shoulders and my poor husband who is 6ft 4 with broad shoulders really struggled. Icon was the only highlight. Valhalla was wildly disappointing from what I remember, there use to a scary viking face on the lift hill and was now inside was lack luster at best and less special effects than I remember with dry ice and fire. So as I already said we don't do the old woodies so now just going for the steeple chase and icon it doesn't seem worth it. The majority of staff encounters I had were aggressive and rude and that theme seemed to be set for the whole day. Where as Alton towers and thorpe park staff were much more friendly and gave instructions or directions without aggressive hostility I nearly went to flamingo land yesterday I wish I did now. I think I'd only return now if I got discounted tickets.
homeless ppl everywere
homeless ppl everywere, drunks all over swearing and drunk. a disgraceful place, a ripoff. If you have kids do not bring them here or to blackpool, its vile
Went on bank holiday Monday wasn't to…
Went on bank holiday Monday wasn't to busy payed £178.00 for a family of 5 the youngest being 2 years ago (disgusting pricing) also Iam 56 years old so I never went on the rides(also ridiculous) we went to the security check point and they started to go through my daughters hand bag which is a disgrace personal things where in it then we where told we couldn't bring in our own food(more money extortion)can really say won't be going back(and will be telling everyone not to go)
Waste of money nothing working
I’d like to make a people aware about my visit today 25th may 2024. We arrived onto the park everything was smooth until we found a lot of the rides were not on or not on till around 2pm… Our son has autism and as you could imagine he did not understand what was going on. River caves, avatar, big one, ice blast and whilst queuing for icon we were told it was experiencing tech issues I know this can’t be helped but it seems like nothing is on or working the way it should be.
Thanks
