Lisa was so helpful, it made the whole shopping experience easy and enjoyable. She gave good advice & helped me find what I needed without being pushy.

I visited Blacks (in a panic) before a trip to Iceland and Craig couldn’t have been more patient and helpful with everything. He was very knowledgable and gave excellent advice to someone who didn’t really know what they were looking for. Thanks to him I was prepared and comfortable in all weathers on my trip.

I purchased a pair of Berghaus Waterproof trousers, however I forgot to present my £50 gift card when paying on card for my item.
The member of staff was very helpful and called a Supervisor who promptly sorted out the transaction to include my gift card. Very helpful, friendly and fantastic customer service.

Excellent service. Very polite, helpful assistant. I was greeted and asked if I needed any help. Not at all pushy. Excellent choice of walking shoes at good prices. Tried on several pairs and given good advice on what to look for in a good pair of shoes. Very friendly assistant.

We were served by George who was excellent in helping us pick a tent that was suitable for us. He had great knowledge, answered all our questions and nothing was too much bother for him. Excellent service.

Very friendly staff, I was looked by George when choosing some sandals. We had a good conversation, I say we, it was mainly myself boring him with my experience of lockdowns in China during COVID, and falling through a frozen lake in north east China, breaking bones etc. The sandals he recommended are very comfortable and just what I require.

Popped in for a waterproof jacket. Found a Berghaus for £160. Nice jacket, simple but effective. Staff was nice & friendly. Had a young lady on till who was very nice & polite. We had a laugh about a stubborn security tag that wouldn't come off. I alway's use this Blacks shop whenever I'm buying in person. Was nice being able to try on jacket's to get the correct size apose to guessing online & taking a chance. I'm sure I'll return as I saw a few walking trouser's that I fancied too. Happy customer as alway's. Thank u 👍
