My wife sometimes finds it difficult to get the right shoes.
She could not have asked for more help and patience from sales assistant Lisa.
Came out with not one but two pairs of shoes.

Very helpful assistants knew what they were talking about,and what products to use for after care of the foot wear . They also had the knowledge what they had in stock as well.it was a pleasant experience because I was looking for size 13 waterproof walking boots got them no problem and a rubber tip for a walking pole

The sales assistant George in the shoe department was most helpful in enabling me to select a pair of walking shoes which are comfortable for everyday wear and vegan friendly. I rate the staff in the Dundee store very highly. Their attention to detail to ensure the customer gets what they need is remarkable.

Jony was incredibly helpful and attentive and gave great advice for picking boots and making sure they were the right fit. Extremely happy with my purchase

Phoned the Dundee store to enquire about a men’s gilet , spoke to an assistant called Lisa and she could not be more helpful and friendly, all questions answered professionally, asked to put garment aside for me to collect the following day, was set aside for us as promised.

I hate shopping online and this impromptu in person experience in Dundee was so great because Jony was there. He was a knowledgeable and informed person which really helped me out.

I ended up getting 2 great pairs of shoes that are exactly what I was looking for and would have struggled to have confidence to buy online.

I called for a pair of leather waterproof boots, as the gortex ones I have did not keep my feet dry. The assistant George was absolutely brilliant, he explained that my gortex boots probably needed reproofing and explained how I could do this, providing the products I needed. George was very honest and suggested I try this and I may not need new boots. This honest approach reflects very highly on Blacks as a company. However I decided to still purchase a pair of boots and I had it in my head I wanted Hi Tech. George took the time to explain all about the qualities of the leather from different manufacturers and brought me several pairs across the ranges to try, demonstrating the differences in quality and price. I finally decided on a pair of Scarpa leather boots as George had also measured my feet and I am a 10.5 and Scarpa do half sizes in their range, George showed me how to test to see if my toe banged against the front of the boot, nobody has ever told me about this before, which surprises me as it is a great tip. George then provided the beeswax to treat the boots with and explained what to do. I wore the boots and was out all day in the snow beating moorland and marshland, I got a thorough soaking but my feet remained dry and the boots were comfortable all day. For the first time ever, on arriving home I did not feel the need to remove the boots ASAP. Thank you George you did Blacks proud, you answered all questions and explained in depth the logic behind the answers. You are a very switched on young man, and an asset to any company.
