Wow! Outstanding service. I had an issue with a jacket that had already been exchanged once but I had not retained the replacement receipt. The original purchase was just over a year ago but Natalia and her Manager agreed immediately to replace the jacket again. I cannot express how happy I am with this level of service. I went in looking for a small lightweight backpack that didn’t cost too much. The staff downstairs were very helpful and directed me upstairs where the male assistant was so attentive and knowledgeable. I told him I wanted something good but cheap as I may go trekking once and it would end up thrown into the under stairs cupboard. I didn’t really expect to find anything but he showed me 2 examples, I settled on one and couldn’t believe it was only £6 and there was another 10% off that day too. Definitely the best service, choice and prices.

Bought a pair of Merrel walking shoes, Michael the sales assistant was very informative and helpful, and patient! Must of tried at least 10 pairs on before I got the ‘love at first fit’ pair.

The staff were extremely helpful in helping me find everything on my list all looking at the list i had made with very specific items, going off to find them and bringing them to the counter for me to double check, followed by everything that was not able to be found in store, ordering it from their system right there and then delivered to my door, even arrived the very next day.

Absolutely outstanding service and 100% recommend for people both new to and experienced with the great outdoors

Great service today from Blacks Lincoln. I was served by Seb who answered all of my questions and was most helpful. I Went in for some shoe’s and came out knowing all I needed to know about a future trip I have planned. Amazing!

After searching many stores for Merrell shoes in my size it has proved to be difficult as the latest models seem to have narrow toe boxes. In the Lincoln branch today the assistant who served me went up and beyond the normal and was patient, helpful and deserves a pat on the back. I didn’t get his name but he was shown as Assistant 8 on the receipt. Well done, Happy purchase!
