Excellent customer service. Very helpful and very knowledgeable about the products.

I stopped in after work to look at some shoes just before they closed, but instead of trying to rush me so they could go home, they took time to bring several pairs to try, giving advice, and helping me choose the best shoes for what I needed, showing great product knowledge.

Just like a shout out to Ann in the newbury branch. She was really helpful with me picking some merrel trainers. She wasn’t bothered about me sending her to get 4 different pairs and sizes. Well done blacks for having great customer care. And well done Ann for being great at what you do.

I’d been looking at some hiking boots for a while but needed an assistant to help, I’d previously been served by Ann so asked if she could help me select some suitable boots.
Nothing was too much trouble, always offering suggestions and tips which really helped me make an informed decision.

Today we were supported by the assistant branch manager Trina, who was absolutely amazing.Trina showed great patience and understanding of the difficulties we were both having making decisions. I find that Blacks always have knowledgeable & helpful staff. Today I was looking for walking shoes & was served by Jack who is soon to compete in the 10 Tors challenge so he obviously a walking enthusiast. Always a pleasure to buy from this shop
