Best store in Shrewsbury
I was so disappointed to hear the store is closing, I’ve had nothing but a great experience from this store. Today we went to kit up for our Arctic trip and was helped by Lee who was the most sound guy, great advice and really looked after us. Staff are always so kind, polite and helpful here. Thank you. Will be sad to miss this core store in Shrewsbury.

Great experience!
I was welcomed in store with smiles and we had a lovely bit of chat.
I was collecting a reserved item and was served promptly by Charlotte and Lee.
The staff were all very personable which is admirable in the circumstances as they know the store is closing in September.

Went in to buy a new sleeping bag and got excellent advice on what would be suitable. Lee was highly knowledgable and happy for me to take bags out of their cases to properly see them and he was then more than happy to re-pack them for me!

Excellent customer service.
I was looking to buy a pair of hiking shoes. Blacks Shrewsbury had an excellent range with very competitive pricing. We were assisted by Lee on the day. Lee had excellent knowledge of the range that they stocked and provided excellent customer service. I was able to try a range of shoes in the store before purchasing the pair that I did. An excellent customer experience. It is a real shame that the store is closing down.
