Horrible camera
Horrible camera. I bought the most expensive one with back and front recording and its stops recording by itself whenever it wants. I called the company customer service and they keep telling me it's the SD card. I bought a different SD card and it's still not recording. I was hit and run once and it did not record. The second time my car got robbed and it did not record. The customer service is useless. They basically tell you to change SD cards since it can get bad after 6 months or a year. Horrible, horrible product. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They are located in South Korea and they don't care about customer satisfaction.

Absolutely useless company with the poorest customer service I’ve come across, think they spent all the money on the flashy website, camera never once connected to the cloud, wouldn’t keep it’s time and deleted all videos, it’s been 4 weeks since return to be fixed, no updates or nothing , countless phone calls and promised call backs, I’m still without this piece of junk and no refund, I’m about to report them DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME
Very bad customer service
Very bad customer service. My subscription was cancelled and the V-Sim de-activated because l did not upgrade to a premier service. I then upgraded to the Smart plan 1 but still have not been connected. You phone and the receptionist tells you the tech guys will ring back but they don’t. If you opt to cancel there is no refund. Most expensive dash but appalling service.
Poor service and dash cams
Don’t normally write reviews on a company but this company care about one thing and that is money!
I brought my Blackvue dash cam last year installed it after 4 months I started having issues with it, when powering the car the dash cam would start up then turn off and repeat this for my journey, I was told to buy a new sd card what I done still had the same problem but one day randomly it went back to normal and this happened on several occasions.
Last month I had someone smash my window in and try to steal parts off my car when the police asked for the dash cam footage it didn’t record a thing even though I’m using the Blackvue Power Magic Battery B-124X.
After explaining to customer service what happened and that the dash cam didn’t serve it’s purpose they continued with the poor customer service and not reply to emails.
I wish I stayed with my mid range priced dash cam then paying three times over for a dash cam that does not work!!!

I have now had two dashcams from Blackvue, an older one that became defective after a year. rear camera no longer worked.
Then I got my money back and bought a new Blackvue dashcam with sim card, WIFI etc. a BlackVue Daschcam DR750-LTE 2CH 32GB Nordic
now after only two months the new expensive camera has become defective, can not load sd card, has tried to format sd card without success, and used another sd card to see if it helped, without success. Sim card function has also never worked via app.
After my two purchases, I must have found their product is of poor quality.
I thought blackvue made dashcams in high quality with longevity.
So far the camera works as advertised
So far the camera works as advertised. I've only had it a couple of months now, the really big concern I have is that it gets so hot I can hardly touch it. I'm worried it will start to melt or catch fire. Has anyone else come across this problem? And is there a solution to the overheating?

I don’t understand how this company is able to sell this rubbish, how is that even legal; surely misrepresentation.
The live view rarely works and the camera doesn’t continually record!
I had an accident yesterday and the pre and after was recorded but not the impact!
Totally pointless dash cam, I’m thinking about litigation.

Fantastic service. Spoke to Jonny from technical support who helped me setup the 4g sim on my camera. 10/10. My 750lte is working perfectly streaming videos to the cloud and allowing remote access. I highly recommend Blackvue.

Bad, bad, bad, I have had 4 blackvue cameras and every single one has had constant problems, be it picture quality, sd related, overheating, firmware!!! To name a few! Never ever again do!!! Please do your research, you will find a horrendous amount of unhappy customers, I hope this save

This experience has been poor from the word go and continues to be so.
My rather expensive DR900S-2Ch stopped working after two months of installation. Trying to get hold of customer services has been difficult, they don't seem to want to know. To say they are evasive is an understatement
On one of the few occasions I did get a response, the person suggested I put a non-standard SD card in the camera in the unit to test it. Now, it's fairly prominent on the packaging that the use of non-Blackvue branded SD cards is a big no-no, yet it seems its ok after all. Blatant dishonesty to stop you buying from anywhere else. Being commercial is one thing, but lying is another.
I challenged the person on this and lo and behold, I haven't heard from him since.
Further, I asked why my front camera runs hot - never got an answer. I have a high-end car and should anything happen because of Blackvue's camera, I will hold that company responsible.
They also try to confuse you with all manner of identities. So far, I've come across blackvue.uk, blackvue.co.uk, blackvue.com, pittasoft.com. It is ridiculous. And when you do get someone, the stock response is 'we have no records of any emails..'
I would write to Trading Standards about this lot, but there's so much smoke and mirrors, I can't imagine where they would start....
I've never come across a more slippery, evasive organisation, which charges a premium price for product that is unreliable, obviously not up to the task and barely worth the money.
I will make one more try to get this stuff to work, otherwise, I will have it removed and it will be thrown in the bin, writing it off as an expensive mistake. I can't imagine anyone would want to buy it from me.
I hope Blackvue are pleased with themselves, but not helping customers and giving them continually a bad experience will bite in the end.
My advice to those looking at dash cams is DO YOUR RESEARCH. I was originally warned off Blackvue stuff by my installer. This could be for all manner of reasons, my initial thought was there was a different product he dealt with on which he received a better margin. I can't know for sure, but wish I'd looked into it more before committing.

Bought a Blackvue DR 590-1ch few weeks ago,also got a pro magic pro as want parking mode to work on it,this would not work regardless of many emails back and forth to company,brought this back to retailer who gave me a refund,bought an obd hardwire kit this for this and regardless what I do will not work,they are now after referring me to there branch in Scotland,what difference this makes is anyone's guess,looking for refund for both of these items as going on long enough,no reply from them regarding this,my advice is don't buy Blackvue guys.
Stay away from blackvue
These are way over rated. Not only is the company a joke to deal with. They don't stand by their products. Every time there's a new update, the camera fails in some way... WiFi not connecting, sensor doesn't work, videos come out pink, reset button refuses to work, the list is endless. They always find a way to get you to pay to have it fixed, when it's common knowledge their updates are a mess and destroying the camera!! Don't waste your time buying 1 of these, you won't escape the faults. Every time there's a new camera to be released in the market, the previous version mysteriously breaksdown after the last update!! They only offer warranty and not a guarantee. That should have told me all. Their customer service is absolutely ridiculous, they have pple on computers replying back to emails and haven't a clue what they're doing. They don't comply with the EU laws, on customer rights!! Please keep your money and buy a next base camera, company is phenomenal to deal with and a fraction of the cost of a blackvue. Blackvue are possibly the worst product and company to deal with. Very unprofessional to say the least

I am very satisfied with my product DR590W 2-CH. Great quality. Easy to navigate the app and program. After a year the GPS failed, so i had it sent back to Blackvue. Their support team is doing a great job helping me out. The camera is now sent back to me after less than a week. Their guides and explainations is very easy to follow and they for sure know how to take care of their costumers. Best dashcams ever.
