Irridescent kettle from B&M.

We'd loved our previous glass kettle (also Blaupunkt, also from B&M) so when it died after six years we went back to the store and bought the current model.

It's dangerous. When tipped to pour, water comes out not just of the spout but also that whole area around the lid. It might be something to do with the filter in the lip, but whatever it is, it's unusable.

The overall quality is also very poor now - what a contrast to the previous model! The glass top isn't protected so sooner or later it's going to get knocked at the top; the pour balance is awkward - again, not great when dealing with boiling water.

It went straight back before someone got scalded. Reported to trading standards as a dangerous item. B&M need to look at the whole range as I can see that this isn't the first time this issue has been raised. What a shame that such a great brand has gone so far downhill.

Bought a Blaupunkt free glide iron - what a waste of money. Every time I use it water gushes down the iron into the sections where the electric connections are. Told family to stop using as can see someone getting electrocuted
Sadly throw box out and have lost the receipt otherwise it would have gone straight back to store.
Will never buy this make again what a waste of money not even 6 months old and had to buy another iron.

Bought a dual drawer air fryer from B&M. £59. Hopeless touch screen didn't work very well. It kept overheating ( the E3 error message ) and tripping my electrics, it seemed poor quality. Took it back got a replacement which turned to be just as bad. So I took that back and got my money refunded.

Doesn’t actually pick any debris up off carpet or hard surfaces, at first I thought it maybe the amount of charge that was the issue but it’s all round frustrating due to the way it seems to remove obvious fluff only to spit it back out three steps forward.
Purchased believing was going to impact on cleaning but is only good for storage, nozzle for skirting boards is the same slightly more effective than the main head
Would look at other brands and read reviews, sadly I didn’t only this evening and it’s not looking good overall from what I’ve read

Worked well but stopped working after 8 months. Had receipt took it back and exchanged it at b & m with no problems.Did not even have the box.
Hope this one lasts.....

Every time we use it, it throws the electric, had the electric checked and everything else electric we use is perfect, put this on and off it all goes.
Only purchased in June 2025 and I’m hoping B&M will refund as I don’t want another one

Would be zero, bought a pizza oven from b & m, does not even switch on, I used to fit blaupunkt audio into BMWs in the 80s, when they were new, it was real quality and expensive, someone has just bought the name and using it as a quality brand , this item is junk, and best used for attacking a burglar with or putting under the wheel of you’re car if the handbrake does not work , avoid at all cost

Terrible Customer Service – Blaupunkt Is Failing Despite a Good Product

The Blaupunkt SBW600 is a solid soundbar and good value for money. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end — the company is being completely ruined by its incompetent and misleading customer service.

I was contacted by Komal Gour, who pressured me into purchasing the product by falsely claiming low stock and imminent price hikes. Despite clearly stating that I was traveling and requesting a specific delivery date, I was assured my request would be honored.

That promise was broken. The product was delivered two days earlier than agreed, with zero tracking information or notification. When I followed up, Komal was not only unapologetic but rude and dismissive, blaming “internal systems” for the mistake instead of taking accountability.

I escalated the matter to her manager, Umesh, who assured me the product would be delivered as per my requested date — yet it was again delivered while I was away. No ownership, no professionalism.

To make matters worse, the promised 48-hour installation never happened — even after a full week. I had to follow up repeatedly, and still no resolution.

Blaupunkt's customer support is untrained, arrogant, and completely disconnected from basic service standards. If this is how they treat customers, it’s only a matter of time before they fail in the Indian market — and rightly so. A good product is meaningless when the entire experience is this frustrating and disrespectful.

Worst kettle I have ever bought in my entire 40 years of life. Horrible handle, looks cheap and feels cheap. Horrible spout that doesn’t pour right unless you tip the kettle right up, which considering this is a product that holds boiling water is a severe safety risk. The hard water filter that is meant to filter out the hard water is NON EXISTENT, just holes in a bit of plastic. Horrible release button for the lid which if you have long nails is just impossible. I lost my receipt and tried to email the address provided to receive no reply. This is the first and LAST product I will ever buy from this brand. Just utterly appalling. How the heck do you get a kettle wrong???

It doesn’t work properly and leaks constantly. Unfortunately, I lost the receipt, so I couldn’t return it. I regret purchasing this product and would strongly advise others not to buy it. The non-stick feature is also quite poor

I bought a Blaupunkt Illuminating Kettle - White
Product code: 347114 from B&M not realising it was plastic, not glass. Boiled water from it has a very unpleasant, unpalatable taste so I have had to buy a replacement glass kettle from a different company. I didn’t attempt to get a refund because the kettle was not in its ‘original condition’. This purchase was a complete waste of money.

I purchased your illuminating kettle and it made bang noise and a hole and a black mark appeared on the bottom of it ,I'm very disappointed as I live on my own and kettle wouldn't be used that often ,I'm afraid to use it now

Got a Espresso Coffee machine with the Blaupunkt name on it, model number 409034, and the metal filters keep blocking after about a weeks use. I have my own grinder so it is set to grinder to the espresso grade (in fact the grinder cost more than the coffee machine: a Delonghi burr grinder) Contacted Blaupunkt Customer Service. Zero response!!!. I am guessing these small appliances sold in cheap stores e.g. Home Bargins, are not actually made by Blaupunkt but just have their badge on them.

I bought a not too expensive robot vacuum, hoping it would just do the job. As it should go underneath furniture, a laser guided one was out of the question.
Well, the Bluebot XBOOST 2+ does its job perfectly. As it does not have a laser to guide it, it does bump into everything, but it does it with a slight bump, so no damage done to anything.

I really like the vacuum cleaner Bluebot Xtreme. I am very satisfied with the product. Didn’t tried the mop function yet but the vacuum is pretty well done. I definitely recommend it.

I have got a blaupunkt power force anti tangle 25.9v carpet cleaner I did not get a manual book with my cleaner to find out about it but you tube came to the rescue it's Funny I use it a lot but I got it from
B&m store in Lincoln I like it a bit

Brought a log effect heater last year put it on for the second time this year and has melted the outer casing only have it on for 20 minutes to warm the room up let's say it's now been sent to the shed and will not be using it again this is very dangerous

This air fryer oven does a great job, I've had one before so I was expecting good results. I got the 21ltr and to be fair, it's small. It cooks well, if you can plug it in with its miniscule cord, there were scratches that gives it a used look although it was well wrapped and sealed, marks from the factory? It's a shame because the joke of a cable and marks really let a good product , albeit loud, down. It's so inconvenient that it only gets two stars.

Brought the blaupunkt aquajet spot cleaner from b&m for £59. I found it really easy to use and it got so much dirt out of the carpets. Also used on my armchair and it came up lovely. So far so good.

Have just purchased the power force extreme 22v cordless vacuum all I can say is don’t bother it is absolutely useless cannot hoover whole house in one charge .The suction is non existent.Not a happy customer
