It took a while for the supplier to provide their equipment. Yet when Blue Ape got them, I was informed immediately and book an appointment when it suited me.

The installation went smoothly and I tested my charger on my car before they left. They tidied up after themselves and explained the technical parts when asked with patience.

From start to finish the experience with BlueApe Renewables was perfect. Craig was my first contact for a quotation and his can do approach and attention to detail was impeccable. Then Emily was my day to day contact to see the job throughout the planning and delivery, again shr was excellent and a credit to the team. Finally, Kyle & Dave, undertook the survey and installation. Nothing was too much trouble and Kyle's attention to detail is second to none. I would give them 10 stars if it were an option, highly recommend.

From the first time I spoke to Craig on the phone I knew this was the company I wanted to use. He was very professional and answered the many questions I asked and I was happy with the price.
I had my panels and battery and inverter fitted yesterday by a very professional and friendly team, Guy and Fin the electricians and Abe and Mal the fitters who all did a great job. I had a call today from Emily to help me with paper work needed to sell some electric to the grid and talk to me about the app. Again a really nice and informative person.

Excellent service from my installer, Phill Jackson - he made sure that I fully understood how to use my new system and was very patient when answering my questions. Everywhere was tidied up afterwards and I was provided with contact details for any future queries. I would definitely recommend this company.

I had 3 other solar installers offer there services but after speaking to Craig I quickly made the decision to use Blueape Renewables for our solar install company of choice. The decision was reached after a general chat with Craig who had an in depth knowledge of all things solar... The surveyor Kevin arrived within a couple of days and again displayed good knowledge and produced a good initial layout for the panels/and associated equipment.
On install day the team arrived punctually and got straight to work and a smooth installation was completed in excellent time. Guy and his son Finley expertly completed the electrical installation and cleaned up any mess after commisioning took place. Guy explained the general working of the system and we installed the easy to use App on our mobiles.
Malek and Steve the roofers again were really attentive to the work in hand and took extra care with the pigeon control barrier surrounding the panels as we live in an area with a large pigeon population...
Finally the lovely Emily shows good skills as the companies operations manager organising the whole affairas it ran like clockwork from start to finish including ensuring all the paperwork was applied for.
I would recommend the company to any prospective clients as the servoce was great, equipment used well rated and the price very competative...

Where to start?
After nearly 12 months of trawling the internet and talking with potential supplier after supplier i had virtually given up on the idea of Solar feeling that the industry was just full of cowboys or scammers promising to install the best equipment at the best price yet every quote was for different brands of equipment and different prices and different size of installation.

Then I came across Blue Ape Renewables purely by accident via their youtube channel where they had produced numerous videos on the a varying ranges of products they use the pros and cons of each and in particular featured a product range i have been interested in by my own research Hanchu.

What the hell i thought, why not give one more company a last chance to show me that Solar was right for me. So i pick up the phone and begin the process again for probably the 10th time.

This time though things appeared different. Craig was not trying to sell me a particularly brand or a particularly size of installation he was listening to why i wanted solar, what my concerns were around solar and what i wanted from a solar installation.

Craig took the time to produce a detailed quotation based on an agreed brand of products without pushing a particular brand onto me or promising that brand A was better than Brand B. He took the time to explain the principles of solar the specifications of the products and provided detailed product specification sheets so that i could make an informed decision not only on the size of installation appropriate for my circumstances but also the type and brand of products to meet my needs. No need to upscale to a Tesla Powerwall and place panels on the front and back of my house as encourage by some companies at a cost of £20,000 to achieve my own goals.

Craig wasn't pushy he did not hassle me to make a decision giving me as much time and space as needed to come to a decision. He was happy to take time to go back over old ground to ensure i fully understood the quotation an products and i understood what spending a reasonable sum of my hard earned money was actually going to achieve for me and my family.

Craig continued to offer a completely unbiased ear even after my initial order had been made and my deposit paid when i wanted to double check my understanding about the potential output and usage of my solar installation before i chose to increase my number of panels by 2 to achieve a better return.

From paying my deposit Blue Ape progressed matters quickly and without fuss. Organising my G98 / 99 applications with Northern Power Grid (which came through relatively quickly) before arranging for Emily to begin the scheduling of the installation. Deposit was paid on 7th July and Installation completed by 4th September.

Emily progressed the installation without fuss arranging for the Local scaffolding company to erect on the Tuesday before installation on the the Thursday and again a swift removal of scaffolding on the Friday to limit the impact on Neighbours.

On the day of installation Emily ensured the Electrician and Roofer were on site as expected and completed a completion call with me to ensure i was happy and satisfied with the work carried out and that the team had completed the diligently and respectfully.

Installation day was a breeze. 7:30 and the first van arrived with all the materials and offloaded accordingly. Guy (electrician) and his Apprentice (Son) arrived around 8:30 as expected and Guy swifly began the installation process ensuring i was happy with the location and expected cabling routes. Guy ensured that our wishes were met as best as possible whilst adhering to compliance and regulations and discussed all options with me before proceeding.

Malek (roofer) arrived approximately 9:15am and immediately set about the process of installing the panels on the roof. He noticed a couple of cracked tiles on the roof and as i had a couple of spares was very happy to replace these for me during the process.

All in the all the installation was a breeze with minimal interruptions and down time.

Guy and Malek ensured that the property was left in a clean and tidy condition removing all packaging.

The set up and operation of the system was fully explained to me and the app provided for the monitoring of the system

Day one of the system up and running and all is good no electric from the grid and paperwork received to start my SEG application.

From start to finish every member of the team has been professional completed tasks on time as promised, ensured i was 100% comfortable with the project and end results. They will support me both now and in the future monitoring my system to ensure its operating at its peak.

I would recommend Blue Ape Renewables 100% from both the Service they provide, the prices they charge and the expertise of their staff.

Craig the salesperson was helpful without any pressure . Plans are easy to understand and the surveyor explained the access that was required.
Emily communicated every step of the way professionally and was most fruitful.
The fitter Mike was amazing as was the electrician Mal .
Mal explained what everything was for and why , even helped with the app for the phone explaining what everything was for .
If you are looking for solar panels / heat pumps I highly recommend as the price and attitude are A star ⭐️

Fantastic service from initial enquiry to install and after care

Blue ape are an excellent choice for a solar system. They help you through ever step of the system that is suitable for your property but don’t put any pressure on you to buy.
When they come to fit your system they are very polite and get on with the work and clan as they go. Once finished they show you around the system explain the app and answer any questions. I was really impressed with this firm and highly recommend them.

Excellent company. I can not recommend enough. Graig was wonderful salesman who helped clarifying everything, was honest and very helpful in choosing the right solar system for my needs. I could not find better Prices elsewhere also. Highly recommended.

Guy and Finley, carried out the electrical installation work, they were thorough, helpful and completed an extremely smart installation. Guy even called my EV charger manufacturer to ask some questions about the charger working with the Solar system.
Steve and Malek installed the solar panels and carried out the roof installation by connecting up on the roof, again a wonderful tidy installation.
The installation guys worked well together and nothing was too much trouble.
The home was left clean and tidy with all rubbish taken away.

I’m extremely happy I found this company to install my heat pump. Firstly they are extremely professional and provide all the details you need, and secondly they will take you to the whole process making sure you’re happy with everything. Extremely good costumer service and I will particularly thanks Craig for the quality of his service and communication. Had a solar system, panels, invertor and battery storage fitted by the Blue Ape team.
Firstly, it's refreshing to deal with a company that's helpful at every turn, does what they say and provides a brilliant service at a competitive price.
The guys were brilliant throughout and, despite some challenging conditions, (extreme heat), they got with the job with enthusiasm and a smile.
The install was completed in a day and despite a very small hiccup, which was merely a minor software issue, everything was up and running quickly with no other issues.
Couldn't be happier with the whole package and the guys at Blue Ape and now I just have to try to stop looking at the app to see how much free electricity I've just made!

Let’s start generating power from the rest of the summer

Normally I don’t respond to requests for feedback following a purchase because the supplier has merely delivered what I ordered. However, with Blue Ape, I am more than happy to do so given the excellent service they provided both prior to installation and afterwards.

In the run up to the installation, Blue Ape provided excellent service and installed the system on the agreed date however, a day or two later, the system was not working.

I sent a message to Craig at Blue Ape over the weekend and on the Monday, Emily and Phil contacted me to try to solve the issue remotely, but this was not possible as they had discovered a manufacturers fault in the equipment during the remote diagnosis they carried out.

Arrangements were made for delivery of the replacement part to Blue Ape, but following a problem with the shipping company, John made a significant detour to collect the part and, after a 5 hour drive, arrived at my home to install a replacement for the failed part and get the system up and running again.

It is very easy to say a supplier delivered what was ordered, but it is only if something goes wrong that you can see if their service is truly good. Blue Ape went above and beyond to resolve an issue which was not their fault, and this is a measure of excellent service in my opinion.

I would not hesitate to recommend Blue Ape and my thanks go out to Craig, Emily, Phil and especially John for their efforts to resolve the issue and for the way they kept me informed of developments throughout the process.

Really impressed with Blue Ape Renewables. After struggling to get a quick installation date elsewhere, they stepped in and got everything sorted quickly and professionally.
From the first phone call, Craig was clear and helpful—he took the time to explain how the Zappi charger works with Octopus tariffs, and also talked me through the updates they’d be making to the consumer unit, which I appreciated.
The installation was completed in just a few hours. Phil did a great job—neat, tidy, and clearly knew what he was doing. At the end of the job, he talked me through everything he’d done, explained how the charger worked, and made sure I was happy before leaving. That level of care makes a big difference.
The team were really flexible around my schedule and needs, and it was a nice bonus to watch them film the install and put it on their channel after. Before I contacted Blue Ape, I watched some of their videos, and it built a sense of trust with the amount of knowledge they have.
