Very poor quality and customer service is nonexistent. My husband purchased diamond hoops for me, but one earring kept falling off due to a poor latching mechanism. I sent them back to be repaired or replaced 2 months ago. I checked with the storefront where the manager said it would only be a few weeks as the company would more than likely just send me a new pair. After several weeks, I questioned the store manager 4 more times, and he said it was out of their hands now. I called customer service and was assured I would receive a call within the day. NOTHING! - I called yet again and received no callback. I needed my earrings for a special occasion, and now I have nothing except the "we are processing your order" email from 2 weeks ago. Do not purchase anyting from Blue Nile as the jewelery may be nice BUT the Customer Service is NOT

I spent an inodinate amount od lf time ordering the ring, I kept telling her that the sapphire was too dark but I was willing to buy the actual ring I tried on because it has a greenish blue color which was unusual. The ring took an additional week to arrive. I called customer service the week before it was delivered and begged that the lightest blue be selected. Instead, the sapphire was so dark it reminded me of obsidian. I was told it would take 4 weeks to be reimbursed! It took the store two days ti send it back! Ms. Thule Huff

I Purchased a 5c tennis necklace and it arrived with a kink in the chain, also wasn’t happy with the look and size of the diamonds. I returned it and purchased the 10c tennis necklace, which is amazing, but I’m still waiting on a refund from the original 5c necklace. I’ve been waiting now for over 3weeks without a refund. This process is taking way too long and isn’t acceptable.

I purchased a $1,400 engagement ring with a protection plan and it required resizing after proposing. I shipped it to Blue Nile and received no updates after several months. Time and time again, I reached out to their support chat and was told to wait and that someone would reach out to me. It was implied that they had it, and it was in early production. Only after 4 or 5 months of this was I told that the ring was never recieved, and the support and security teams told me to kick rocks, refusing any kind of assistance. This company truly scammed me and lied to me, and now I am down $1,400 and unable to afford a replacement. I saved for months for this ring.

Having never purchased any valuable gemstone or diamond jewelry online before, I was admittedly wary about the seemingly endless number of diamond and lab grow diamond stores online.
I was specifically looking for a pink lab grown diamond and a setting to place it in. I looked over the various larger name stores that heralded unique lab diamonds and kept coming back to the selection at Blue Nile. I liked that they also had physical stores throughout the US (gave me some confidence they weren’t a fly by night company that would disappear shortly after I made a purchase).
After finally selecting the exact stone I wanted and a setting, I placed an order and waited. Two days ahead of their estimated ship date, my ring was sent via UPS and arrived to me the following day.
The packaging was very lux and high end, all my gemstone documentation was enclosed and the ring was stunning. Even more remarkable than I’d imagined. Photos hardly prepared me for the sparkle!
The setting is well made, sturdy and was customized to house the larger than average solitaire pink diamond. Altogether, flawless. The fit was also perfect.
The process of shopping for a stone and setting was user friendly and intuitive (like the 3D preview process!), it was a cinch to check my order status and shipping was precisely on time and as expected.
The ring itself is priceless and seeing the quality, it’s worth five times what I paid (to me, of course). Wonderful experience start to finish and I’m sure it won’t be my only purchase.

Vague delay with my order. Probably wouldn’t give 1 star if I had a choice. Missed 3 separate opportunities (wedding, birthday, and anniversary) to gift my order despite having more than enough time to receive the package prior to these events. Customer service basically told me to get screwed when asked about the status of my order.

The bracelet that was sent to us was not of the quality we expected for the price. We requested an RMA and label. They did not arrive. It took a second request to get an RMA and label. The bracelet was returned in the original box, had never been worn and it still took over 4 weeks and numerous phone calls to get them to process a refund, which has not yet arrived. There are too many good jewelry stores online to use this one. Go elsewhere.
