Significant Repairs After Purchase - No Reimbursement From Dealer

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership which subsequently required substantial remedial work during my period of ownership. This was despite the vehicle having passed an MOT immediately prior to purchase with no recorded faults or advisories. Repairs undertaken by independent mechanics since I purchased the car have included a clutch replacement, rectification of a rear wheel hanger issue, and various other costly mechanical faults. I contacted the selling dealership within six months of purchase to raise these concerns under my consumer rights, but no offer of reimbursement was made. The vehicle has since failed its MOT, presenting four major defects, three minor defects, and three advisories. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise prospective purchasers to obtain an independent mechanical inspection if they want to procede with any purchase. My rating is zero stars — not recommended.

Untrustworthy Dealer

If I could give zero stars I would. I was sold a car from this Dealer only to find within 24hrs that the car was faulty. Although I was promised it would be repaired that wasn't their intention I believe and I was given the run around for 3 weeks until the car became undrivable and unsafe due to its faults (flywheel, clutch, oil leak) The whole car was vibrating and I was unable to shift gears. The car has now been returned for a refund, which is where I found out the lies I had also been told regarding the logbook especially, which I was never given and no new keeper slip given to me either. I was told he had put a v62 through for a new logbook which DVLA have confirmed this was not done by the dealer. This whole process has caused unnecessary stress and I'm even more out of pocket and now without a car. Just for information the dealer has claimed to have repaired the car I returned and had it back up for sale within a week of it being returned, again without any v5 or new keeper slip and I know this because my own registration for the vehicle is still being processed with the DVLA. I definitely wouldn't recommend buying a car from this dealer and if you do make sure you know your consumer rights and fight back if you happen to be conned like I was.

Faults :
Flywheel and clutch, Massive oil leak leaving oil all over the ground, the whole right side underneath absolutely covered in oil, the noise of water filling when starting the car.
