BEWARE
BEWARE - they will be helpful until you move in. I was moved into an apartment that is COMPLETELY INFESTED with bed bugs. Clearly there was no cleaning/inspection done before move in. Once addressed with the issue they've gone completely cold, no responses. It is a law in France to provide 'decent housing' which includes no pests. Best part? The washer doesn't work so now its even harder for me to try to remove the infestation. Very disappointed.

Book-A-Flat
Book-A-Flat has been extremely helpful in finding my apartment in Paris. Although at the beginning it did not go as smoothly with the agent I was initially assigned to, when I changed agents the process was extremely fast and the agent was very helpful. The legal department was also extremely helpful and very responsive!

We had a good experience with Book A…
We had a good experience with Book A Flat, the agents followed us througout the process of renting an appartment. Moreover the agency fees are not high as compared to other agencies working with foreigners in France.

I think everything went mostly well. There's lots of confusion about WHO represents who and you talk to a LOT of different people...you just have to "TRUST" that BaF is working in your best interest. Do we trust that big corporations are always working in "OUR" best interests...? So far so good. Up until now, my client has had a positive experience. Hope that helps.

Best Choice for moving to Paris
I used Book-a-Flat as my agency for moving to Paris and it was the best choice! I was very well informed and assisted at all moments along the rental process. Finding an apartment in Paris for rent…
Finding an apartment in Paris for rent was a hard job. I have visited, phoned, texted, mailed many, many agencies. Book A Flat was with one other agency the only one which informed me properly and correctly and that responded to my questions. Pauline Gazanoil was of great help. I live in the Netherlands, so I am not familiar with French Law and regulations. She explained all to me. Besides that, she was really a nice and friendly person. Many thanks for that.

We are an American family and needed to find housing in Paris without ever setting foot in Paris. Book-A-Flat was able to walk us through the whole process from abroad, in English (even though we speak some French, this was reassuring since legalese is difficult in any language). In addition, they gave us a primary residence lease when another agency would not -- for the exact same apartment. Fees were also much more reasonable than other agencies, despite the high level of service. It was a pleasure to work with the team at Book-A-Flat, we highly recommend their services.
