Online purchases show payment twice in your bank account

When you buy anything online, they immediately deduct the payment from your account and says it’s in a panda status.(unfortunately, your bank doesn’t list it that way) When you pick up the item, it will also also charge you again for the item.. boot barn says that the original deduction listed in your account will eventually fall out because it’s a pending payment, but the problem is that all of this money is in a hold status in your checking account with both items posted as processing. Boot barn says it’ll take at least a week for this to settle in my account. Real funny business with accounting and payments with online purchases with this company. Bad bad business I’ll never buy from them again. It ties up my checking account.

Be prepared to pay twice!

Don't purchase anything online unless you're financially prepared to pay for your item(s) twice!!!!!!! They authorize your initial payment and then authorize the charge again as each item ships. It's only after your order completely ships and is delivered that they release the second hold on your account. My purchase was for $300. They have $600 of my funds held until my order is complete. When I called about this, they say they get this complaint often. What's worse is that they don't disclose this information to the customer at the initial point of sale. I filed a complaint with the BBB, just waiting for a response.

First time shopping at BB and I finally…

First time shopping at BB and I finally found 2 pair of boots for my granddaughters. Never had anyone ask me if I needed any help and really that's the way I like shopping. Heading to the Cash register an assistant asked if I needed any help and I told her that I needed 2 boxes to put my 2 pair of boots in. She said we don't supply the boxes for the boots. Kinda of caught me by surprise because I really liked the Boots that I had finally decided on buying for my 6 and 5 year old granddaughters for Christmas. Not saying that I got mad but thought about for a minute and just said maybe I just didn't read the policy on the door or wherever it it may be. Paid 224$ for 2 pair of children boots and now I've got to find boxes to wrap up for Christmas presents. Not going to let it ruin my day or life but I'm just about 68 years old and I have never bought a new pair of boots and not get them in a box with the name brand on them. Lol! So if you go to BB be prepared to find you a box if wrapping for a present! FYI

Ships Internationally

I have purchased from the store in N.Scottsdale and since I live in France, I have purchased items to be shipped to me in France.
Excellent and quick international shipping! No hitches!
Good to know that one can purchase boots and western clothing even without living in the States! Hurrah!

Clueless customer service

I called customer service to ask when a sale ended so that I would know how much time I had left to shop, they said they didn't know when their sale ended but they thought I had another day for certain. I waited to finish my order and the sale ended before I could complete the order.

BEST customer service I’ve ever experienced sincerely

I litterally got the BEST customer service I ever received ever
I had a delicate issue with a boot size, I didn’t expect Boot Barn to replace the boot but they did and Sheila the agent was so kind to me through the process I am amazed
These days customer service is almost non existent so I had to mention that Boot Barn was absolutely outstanding!

I highly recommend this store and will never ever buy another pair of cowgirl boots elsewhere
They have me and my friends as customers for life 🙏🏼

Boot Barn Knoxville sucks

Boot Barn Knoxville sucks. I bought a pair of Justin boots ($275). Three weeks later (about 7 actual wears), the lining came out. I attempted to exchange the boots at the store and they kept complaining about how much paperwork it would be for them to exchange them. This was overheard 3 times while at the counter. After 15 minutes and the front counter folks seeking the manager, they refused to replace the boots and sent me to work with Justin Boots. Justin did decide to warrant them in January. It is June and Justin still don't have my size available, though several online retailers have the size available. Just a terrible experience overall, both with Boot Barn and Justin Boots.

So my grandma and I went here on

So my grandma and I went here on 5/27/2023’ in the morning to get a gift for our family member some boots and hats. At the Lakewood location in Colorado. The store was beautiful but the employees not so much helpful we needed kids stuff she wasn’t listening this worker named Suzan she wasn’t friendly had no personality and was rude she asked my grandma for her email grandma said she didn’t have one so I told that Suzan I’d give her mine so I can get deals and coupons she completely Ignored me and her attitude sucked never going back to that location. Then at the registers their was this other girl wearing a short short dress with a flashing jail ankle monitor like no judgment but cover it up its unprofessional to have it visible. Do better store manager of this store. The thin tall Hispanic girl with dark long hair very pretty and nice she was dressed very cute western style, she got me the key to the bathroom. But the others 👎🏽

I made several purchases at Boot Barn

I made several purchases at Boot Barn, in Oxnard, CA., and the staff was very helpful in directing me to what I was looking for. They also provided assistance in answering my questions.

I item I purchased was a Bailey Desert Breeze straw hat and heeded the brim corrected a bit, but the person who used the steamer was not in. No big deal as I corrected it at home with steam from tea pot.

Do not buy online internationally

Do not buy online internationally! My boots were too big, and I wanted to exchange them for a smaller size. I live in Canada, so I called them, and they told me I could exchange it or refund in a Store in WA. I went to the store, but they didn't have any boots that I liked, so they recommended refunding and buying it online again with the right size. I got a refund in-store. 2 days later came the refund on my account, and they kept $45.60 in fees.

Should have went to Walmart or Amazon!

Should have went to Walmart or Amazon!

I've never paid over $50 for Shoes. Thought I'd Splurge and Treat Myself to something Nice so I went to the Boot Barn in Bend, 45 Miles away.

They only had size 13, I wear 14 in some and 15 in others. She said she could Order them. I said Great and handed her $150 American Dollars in Cash. She said she couldn't Accept Cash but she could Sell me a Gift Card to Pay for the Boots..1st Red Flag!

Gave her the Cash she couldn't Accept 2 Minutes Earlier. She Ordered them and I Received them a few days later.

Not a good fit so I tried to Exchange them for 14's. They don't make them in 14, just 13 & 15.

90 Mile Round Trip.. And Guess what? They can't Return my Money but they're willing to give me another Gift Card. What a Scam!!! What the hell am I supposed to do with a Gift Card from a Store I don't Shop at, Never have and Never will again?

Gift Card Scam!! Can't Accept Cash to Buy the Boots but they can Accept Cash to Buy a Gift Card to Buy the Boots!?

I was SCAMMED by the Boot Barn for $130 Dollars!!

Shop Elsewhere!
