Tom at Boots Hearing Care Bexleyheath is a Boots superstar!
I wanted to leave a review to recognise the outstanding care my mother received from Tom at Boots Hearingcare in Bexleyheath.
From start to finish, Tom was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. He took the time to really understand my mother’s needs and concerns, rather than rushing her into a decision. Choosing a hearing aid can feel overwhelming, but Tom guided her through the options in a clear and reassuring way, making sure she felt comfortable and confident throughout.
My mother is an older Asian woman, and Tom was especially thoughtful in the way he communicated. He made a real effort to be clear, inclusive, and easy to understand, which made such a difference in helping her feel at ease and fully involved in the process.
What stood out most was how supportive he was after the fitting as well. He made sure my mother not only understood how to use the hearing aid, but actually felt comfortable and positive about wearing it day to day. That level of care and attention is rare.
We’re both very grateful for the experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Tom to anyone needing hearing support 🫶

I am leaving a 1-star review for now…
I am leaving a 1-star review for now due to the complete lack of location details provided during the booking process. The only information available on a very poor webpage was 'Bexleyheath Pharmacy'—no address, no postcode, and no further instructions. Nothing via email, nothing via text message.
If you Google Bexleyheath Pharmacy, it leads you to the wrong location. The pharmacy where they do the tests is actually inside the Broadway Shopping Centre, but there was no way for me to know that. By the time I was redirected and arrived to the centre I had missed my slot. I have had to reschedule. I wasted two hours traveling to the wrong place, wasted car park fee, fuel, had to make arrangements at work for the appointment. Please fix the address and provide more details, a postcode at the very least. Very frustrating experience and waste of time and money.

Great meeting to discuss hearing loss.
I knew I needed help as my hearing had deteriorated and a bit daunting to realise this and book an appointment. The man made me feel very comfortable. I had two hearing tests, discussed the results and went through the various of what to do. I collect my new hearing aids next week.
2nd update on the shocking…
2nd update on the shocking treatment/service I got from Boots hearingcare,as stated on the original review I left,no one from Boots turned up for the 10am appointment I had on the 26th November, no apologies,no explanation, just pure ignorance! I then left a update of what I got back from Boots, that being a email at approx 12.30pm on the same day(2 hours after the appointment) saying they would have to cancel the appointment, now the latest (you couldn't make it up), a letter arrived to me today(Saturday the 30th November) from Boots saying..."Thank you for booking your full hearing assessment with Boots hearing care, please find below the details of your appointment..", that being, yep, wait for it....26TH NOVEMBER AT 10.00AM,lol,it begs belief, they really are in a chaotic mess of organisation, I hope my experience leads any others to not even consider Boots as an option for your hearing needs, let's face it,they can't even organise anything let alone deal with your hearing, absolute shambles of a company, left me out of pocket and completely wasted my time!!

What could be improved? I don't know if I can answer this very well at this point. The only thing I would say now is that choices of appointment times seem limited. However, so far, so good.
