I have just switched my (rubbish) Boots hearing aids with a pair from SpecSavers... Bottom line: Boots did not help my hearing... Specsavers did... same model hearing aid!.

Returned my top of the range "Phonak" hearing aids to boots (within the 90 day trial period) (full refund coming). They were rubbish. I was unable to understand speech in the hearing aid for my bad ear.. and no matter what changes the audiologist made it did not help.. he became quite unhelpful after the 3-4th attempt to make them better.

Specsavers on the other hand have got it right at the start... same model hearing aid - different audiologist.

Got quite a bit of attitude from the receptionist bloke when I gave them back too ... hey hoo, I'll stick to buying suncream from boots in the future and leave the technical stuff to others !

The service was provided in a dedicate premises which excusively used for Boots Hearingcare. Theexpert Mr. Mohsen Golshani was courteous, attehtive and gentle. The acoustic booth was effective in eliminating extraneous noise and the Internet connection was as fast as it should be.

Accepted my dislike of the battery one I have and helped me to have the re charable ones
