If I could give a minus review I would. The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. My 18yr old daughter had her insurance cancelled without her knowing and she received 1 email to say it had been cancelled. €600 deposit taken and no opportunity to speak to management. She saved up for a whole year for this and they didn’t care. It was cancelled because she didn’t send the back of a licence and the next correspondence she received was a cancellation notification. They claimed they called and emailed(they didn’t) and they also told us on an online chat once it’s uploaded the insurance will be sorted… it wasn’t!!! We only became aware when the direct debit wasn’t taken as scheduled. Then surprisingly… the only chat that can’t be found when asked for a disclosure of the chat was the one that said it would be fine once licence uploaded. This company is beyond frustrating to deal with and in my opinion a complete and utter scam. I would advise any young person to not get sucked in by a cheaper quote and shop around and pay a bit extra to have a trustworthy and decent company. Oh… and try get talking to an actual person… you must take a week off work and wait by the phone for a golden phone call from the company. There is no facility to ring them and the chat is horrendous!!!!

The website only barely works half of the time.
I had to pay an extra 30 euro when I was changing my vehicle insurance over because I couldn't permanently do it. I have to do it for a week first and then when I was able to contact someone about it.

Really terrible insurance.
Really terrible insurance.. my car was stolen and they are doing everything to make it to worst possible experience for me. Can’t get insured in another car. They are saying my car should have never been insured with them as it is an imported car, which I did not know and them being an insurance company should know and shouldn’t have it in there system if that’s the case.Really horrible experience feel like I'm being interrogated every time I’m on the phone to them as if it’s my fault my car was robbed, making an already horrible experience even worse.

If I could give 0 stars I would, disgrace of a copmany, have payed over 800 in 3 months to have My policy cancelled and told i would not recieve my deposit back, customer service is like talking to a robot no acknowledgement into what I'm saying what so ever!!!

Not even worth 1 star .My daughter insurance with boxymo car broke down and they would not help her even though she payed for breakdown They said because nct was out they would leave her stranded What a disgrace this company is to a student nurse .It is not her fault the nct out She couldnt get one until next day .Boxymo takes enough money from her account also had to wait half hr to get through to breakdown TOTAL JOKE ,!!

Being a safe driver pays off.
Being a safe driver pays off. All our other insurance policies go up. Boxymo is the only one that goes down.
At the time, as a parent paying first insurance for my son, having the box fitted gave me some peace of mind. He had to drive safe. I'd get an alert if he didn't.
He's grown now and looks after the payments himself. We shop around every year and Boxymo has remained the best value for money.
